Definitions
- a snow guard device on a sloping roof covered with roof tiles is known from CH-A-533 216.
- this snow guard is not suitable for any roof tile thickness and shape.
- this snow guard must be made of relatively very thick material in order to absorb the large snow loads. This will raise the brick above.
- a snow guard device according to the above-mentioned document which must be made of relatively thick material, cannot be placed over a brick provided with a profile, since the snow guard device does not spring enough.
- snow holders are each mounted on the upper end of the roof tile. This means that flood water can get between two bricks and thus into the roof.
- An advantage of the snow holder according to the invention lies in the fact that it is mounted on the lower end of a roof tile, as a result of which it is avoided that flood water can penetrate.
- snow holders When using sliding bricks, previous snow holders had to be made shorter or longer because they were hung on the upper end of the brick.
- the snow holder according to the invention can be used in sliding bricks in any position thereof.
- snow holders had the disadvantage that they tipped over when they were stepped on, lifted off the brick, slipped off the brick, and there was a risk of an accident.
- the snow holder according to the invention ensures a secure hold when walking on the roof.
- a further advantage of the snow holder according to the invention is that the snow load is distributed better than with known snow holders, the snow load being largely directly above a crossbar. This increases the lifespan of the roof tiles.
- An additional advantage of the snow holder according to the invention is the small contact surface of the same on the roof tiles, as a result of which the brick can dry out better and faster after rain or snow, so that, in contrast to the known snow holders, the engobing and the clay mass of the brick cannot decompose and thereby the brick becomes permeable to water.
- the snow holder 1 according to FIG. 1 has a middle part 2, to which two side arms 3 and 4 adjoin, which enclose the lower end of a brick 5.
- the brick 5 has at its lower end a paragraph 6, around which an extension 7 of the lower side poor 4 reaches.
- the side arms 3 and 4 grip around the lower end of the roof tile 5 in the form of pliers.
- the upper side arm 3 rests on the upper surface of the brick 5 and is bent at a right angle at its end.
- the part 8 bent at right angles forms the actual snow retaining part.
- the middle part 2 is provided with a supporting part 9 for resting on the lower brick 10.
- the two side arms 3 and 4 are flexible, so that the thickness d of the shoulder 6 of the brick 5 and its shape can vary.
- the snow holder 1 is held on the upper brick 5, so that it can not slip down the roof.
- the support part 9 is also provided with a shoulder 11 and a reinforcing rib 12.
- a reinforcing rib 13 is arranged between the two side arms 3 and 4.
- the snow holder 14 according to FIG. 2 has a similar structure to that according to FIG. 1, but it is also provided with additional reinforcing ribs 15, 16 and 17.
- FIG. 3 shows a top view of the snow holder according to FIG. 2.
- the snow holder 18 comprises a metal bracket 19 bent over twice.
- This bracket has a part 20 lying on the surface of the brick 10, one perpendicular part 21 with an opening 22 and a shoulder 23 on the part 20, with which the snow holder 18 is secured against slipping, the shoulder resting on the shoulder 6 of the brick 5.
- a part 24, which is angled several times, is passed through the opening 22 in part 21 of the holding bracket.
- the part 24 has a part 25 resting on the surface of the brick 5, a snow retention part 26 projecting perpendicularly to it, and a part 27 running obliquely to the part 25.
- the part 24 is provided with a reinforcing rib 28 over its entire area.
- the part 24 consists of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP).
- FIG. 5 shows a front view, partly in section, of the snow holder according to FIG. 4.
- the vertical part 21 is provided in its edge regions with reinforcing ribs 31 and 32.
- the snow holder 33 has a holding bracket 34, which comprises a horizontal part 35 resting on the brick 10, a part 36 perpendicular thereto and an extension 37 bent at a right angle at the end of the part 35.
- the part 39 which is angled several times, is guided through an opening 38 in the part 36, which part 40 rests on the brick 5, has a snow retaining part 41 arranged perpendicularly thereto and an inclined part Part 40 extending part 42 and a part 42 angled, resting on the brick 10 support part 43.
- a reinforcing rib 44 extends over the parts 40, 41, 42 and 43.
- the bracket 34 and the part 39 are preferably made of metal, but can also be made of plastic.
- FIG. 7 shows a perspective view of the snow holder 33 according to FIG. 6, the part 39 not being located in the holding bracket 34.
- the snow holding part 39 is rotated by approximately 90 ° relative to the position shown in FIG. 7 and then inserted through the opening 38 into the holding bracket 34 and rotated back again by the same angle, so that two grooves 45 and 46 engage with edge parts 47 and 48 of the opening 38.
- this snow holder is also suitable for roof tiles of different thicknesses and shapes.
- the horizontal part 35 of the bracket 34 and the horizontal part 40 also form a clamp which comprises the lower end of the brick 5.
- FIG. 8 shows a fifth exemplary embodiment 49 of the snow holder. Similar to the embodiment according to FIGS. 6 and 7, this comprises a holding bracket 50 with a horizontal part 51, a vertical part 52 bent at right angles thereto and a shoulder 53 bent perpendicular to the horizontal part 51. At the top of the vertical part 52 is a T -shaped approach 54 is provided. A part 55 comprises a horizontal part 56, a snow retaining part 57 perpendicular to this, a part 58 running obliquely to part 56, and a support part 59 angled to part 58. A T-shaped slot 60 is provided in the region of parts 56 and 58.
- the snow holding part 55 is rotated by 90 ° with respect to the position shown in FIG. 8, the T-shaped slot 60 coming to lie over the T-shaped extension 54.
- the snow holding part 55 is then shifted downward and rotated again by 90 °.
- the parts 51 and 56 also form a pair of pliers for the lower end of the roof tile 5, which can vary in thickness and shape.
- the snow holder 100 comprises an integrally formed plastic part 102 and a holding bracket 103 made of metal which can be moved and locked therein.
- the plastic part 102 has a shoulder 104, which rests on top of a clay brick 105.
- the metal bracket 103 encompasses a shoulder 106 at the end of the shoulder 107 at the lower end of the clay tile 105.
- the clay tile 108 lying below and a roof beam 109 can also be seen from FIG.
- the plastic part 102 of the snow holder 100 has a snow retention part 110 resting on the upper brick 105 and a support part 111 resting on the lower brick 108.

Abstract
