Durch Betätigen des Feststellteils 18 im Bereich des Hebelarms 19 wird der Ring 17 als Ganzes gegenüber dem Spannhals 9 so weit verkippt, daß der Übergang zwischen dem Ring 17 und dem Hebel 19 des Feststellteils 18 sich der Fläche 16 des Getriebegehäuses 3 nähert und damit der in diesem Bereich angeordnete Stift 27 aus der Bohrung 26 im Halteteil 15, in welche er eingegriffen hat, herausbewegt wird. In diesem Fall kann die mit dem Halteteil 25 in dem Zwischenring 20 drehbar gelagerte Schutzhaube 8 frei um den Spannhals 9 gedreht werden. Nach Loslassen des Hebelarms 19 wird der Stift 27 durch das Federelement 15 wieder in Richtung des Halteteils 25 bewegt, so daß er nunmehr mit der dieser gegenüberliegenden Bohrung 26 in Eingriff komm und das Halteteil 25 mit der Schutzhaube 8 drehfest am Spannhals 9 festlegt. Des weiteren ist zweckmäßigerweise, um die Schutzhaube 8 in allen denkbaren Drehstellungen arretieren zu können, vorgesehen, daß an dem Halteteil 25 in einem großen Umfangsbereich die Bohrungen 26 vorgesehen sind, die alle mit ihrem Zentrum auf einem zum Spannhals 9 konzentrischen Kreisbahnsegment liegen.Advantageously, the walls of the bores 26 are shaped such that the pin 27 cannot jump out of the bores 26 even when there is strong lateral pressure on the protective hood 8. Claims (7)

  1. Hand grinder with a grinder housing (2, 3), in which a grinding spindle (4) is mounted rotatably, and which comprises a motor housing (2) and a gearing housing (3), further comprising a protective hood (8) for a tool (6), said protective hood being mounted rotatably on a clamping collar (9) by means of a holding part (25) and being lockable on the latter, wherein a locking part (18) is held fixedly in terms of rotation in the region of the clamping collar (9), wherein the locking part (18) or the holding part (25), at least one and the other respective part, have a plurality of locking elements (26, 27) which are engageable with one another and are loaded by a spring member (15) and which are releasable from one another counter to the spring force, and wherein a lever is provided for actuating, characterized in that said lever (19) is provided on said locking part (18) for the tilting, and in that the lever (19) comprises a region which protrudes laterally beyond the perimeter of the protective hood (8), said region extending between said protective hood (8) and said motor housing (2).
  2. Hand grinder according to claim 1, characterized in that the locking elements are catch depressions (26) provided on one part and catch bodies (27) provided on the other part.
  3. Hand grinder according to claim 2, characterized in that one catch body (27) and a plurality of catch depressions (26) are provided.
  4. Hand grinder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the holding part (25) is designed as a ring surrounding the clamping collar (9).
  5. Hand grinder according to claim 4, characterized in that the holding part (25) is formed in one piece onto the protective hood (8).
  6. Hand grinder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the locking part (18) has a ring surrounding the clamping collar (9).
  7. Hand grinder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the spring member is an annular element (15) surrounding the clamping collar (9).
