Description

The invention relates to a hand tool, in particular angle grinder, with a drive shaft for driving a rotating tool during operation and a spindle shaft to the drive shaft, with a protective cover is removably connectable, which has a pluggable on the spindle neck guard collar and rotatable in the connected state and in successive Angle positions is arranged latching, wherein on the circumference of the spindle neck a circumferential, radially outwardly open and accessible by at least one axial Durchtrittsausnehmung in the axial direction and the guard hood at least one suitable by the respective passage recess and guided during rotation of the connected guard in the guide groove guide member is arranged ,

In particular, angle grinders have a protective cover, which covers the grinding wheel with the exception of the attacking on the respective workpiece area and thus protects the user from injury. In this case, the protective hood can be brought into the favorable for the respective workpiece machining rotational position. This twisting can be done by hand, with the guard locked in the successive angular positions.

In one known from DE 295 13 331 U1 according to the preamble of claim 1 hand tool of the type mentioned, the guard has radially outwardly open tooth gaps, which is assigned a manually operable housing-fixed locking device with a latch and associated control button. In the each rotational position, the latch engages in one of the tooth gaps. By depressing the control button, the locking lug exits so that the protective cover can be rotated.

Proceeding from this, the present invention, the object of providing a hand tool of the type mentioned above, in which the guard not only tool-free up and can be removed but also can be easily rotated in handling in different angular positions. Furthermore, the effort required for this should be relatively low.

This object is achieved in that the spindle neck in the axial direction one behind the other coaxial with the drive shaft and in the axial direction of the guide outwardly preceded by a fixed detent disc and a rotatable, when rotating in successive angular positions in the axial direction with the locking disc latching latching ring are arranged and in that at least one driving element is arranged on the protective hood collar, which engages with the locking ring when the protective hood collar is put into rotational driving engagement.

When attaching the guard to the power tool, the guard is placed with its guard collar in such a rotational position on the spindle neck that the guide member passes through the passage to the guide groove. If you twist the protective cover from this Monday-rotational position, the guide member and this is the guard in the axial direction secured to the spindle neck. Simultaneously with the attachment of the guard collar on the spindle neck, the driving member reaches the locking ring, so that the locking ring rotates when turning the guard and locked in each rotational position with the locking disc.

To remove the protective cover, it must only be turned into the aforementioned assembly rotary position. It can then be easily removed from the spindle neck.

This results in a tool-free installation. The handling is very easy. Furthermore, the necessary measures can be implemented without any special effort.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.

In the resulting from the drawing hand tool is an electrically operated angle grinder 1, which is an elongated, at the same time serving as a handle housing part 2, in which a drive motor is housed, and then a machine head 3, in which a deflection gear is included, via which a perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the housing part 2 extending drive shaft 4 is driven. The drive shaft 4 protrudes through a fixedly arranged on the underside of the machine head 3 spindle neck 5 to the outside. The drive shaft 4 can be connected to a grinding wheel or, in the case of another hand tool, to another tool rotating during operation. In the illustrated case, the region of the drive shaft 4 protruding in front of the spindle neck 5 has a thread onto which the grinding wheel, not shown, can be screwed.

The construction of such angle grinder is well known, so that a further general description is unnecessary.

The angle grinder 1 is associated with a protective hood 6, which can be removably connected to the coaxial with the drive shaft 4 spindle neck 5. In the connected state, the protective cover 6 covers the grinding wheel towards the user. In this case, the protective cover 6 releases the grinding wheel side opposite the machine head. Furthermore, the protective hood 6 extends only over a part of the circumference, so that a circumferential area of the grinding wheel remains uncovered, with which the respective workpiece is machined.

The protective cover 6 has a protective hood collar 7, which is of annular design and is inserted onto the spindle neck 5. At the collar 7 a substantially radially projecting cover wall 8 is attached, which extends over only a portion of the circumference, so that the required for workpiece machining peripheral area remains free. To the The outer circumference of the cover wall 8 is attached to a circular arc extending axially directed peripheral wall 9, which is associated with the grinding wheel circumference. Like the cover wall 8, the circumferential wall 9 does not extend over the entire circumference of the grinding wheel and also leaves free the grinding wheel area required for workpiece machining.

In the attached state, the protective hood collar 7 is arranged coaxially with the drive shaft 4 on the spindle neck 5. In this case, the protective hood collar 7 and thus the protective cover 6 can be rotated about the spindle neck 5, so that the peripheral region of the protective hood left free for the workpiece machining can be turned into the angular position required for the respective workpiece machining. In this twisting, the guard performs, so to speak, a ratcheting motion, i. it automatically locks in the successive angular positions at short intervals, in such a way that the latching is automatically canceled again upon further rotation. In this way, the guard 6 keeps by itself in the set rotational position.

For attachment of the protective cover 6 on the spindle neck 5, a circumferential, radially outwardly open guide groove 10 is arranged on the outer circumference of the spindle neck, which is accessible in the axial direction by one or more circumferentially distributed, axially directed passage recesses 11.

By "axial direction" is meant in the present description, the axial direction of the drive shaft 4.

At the guard collar 7 at least one guide member 12 is arranged, wherein the number of guide members 12 of the number of passage openings 11 on the guard collar. 7 equivalent. In the illustrated case three distributed over the circumference arranged guide members 12 and accordingly three passage recesses 11 are provided. To attach the protective hood collar 7 on the spindle neck 7, the protective cover 6 must be held in a mounting rotational position, in which the guide members 12 are arranged in the axial direction in alignment with the passage openings 11. The guide members 12 are dimensioned so that they pass through the passage recesses 11, so that they pass through the passage recesses 11 to the guide groove 10 when attaching the protective hood collar 7. If you then twisted the protective cover 6, the guide members 12 are secured in the axial direction and are guided in the circumferential direction.

In the figures 1 to 3, the protective cover 6 is in the assembly rotational position. The open guard area is then turned back towards the user. In this position usually no workpiece machining takes place. In contrast, in FIG. 4, the protective hood 6 is rotated through approximately 180 °.

With reference to FIG. 4, it should also be pointed out that the protective hood collar 7 is cut open so that the spindle neck 5 located behind it becomes visible.

Bei seinem Verdrehen verrastet der Rastring 14 in den aufeinanderfolgenden Winkelstellungen in axialer Richtung mit der Rastscheibe 13.The connected in the manner described with the spindle neck 5 protective hood 6 occurring in the successive angular positions releasable locking takes place by means of a locking disc 13 and a locking ring 14 which are arranged on the spindle neck 5 in the axial direction one behind the other coaxial to the drive shaft 4. In this case, the locking disc 13 is fixed and the locking ring 14 rotatably arranged. The locking ring 14 is coupled in the direction of rotation with the protective cover 6, so that it rotates when turning the protective cover 7 with this. When twisting locked the Locking ring 14 in the successive angular positions in the axial direction with the locking disc thirteenth

At the guard collar 7 at least one driving member 15 is arranged, which passes when attaching the guard collar 7 on the spindle neck 5 in rotational engagement with the locking ring 14, so that it is taken during rotation in the direction of rotation.

Each entrainment member 15 - in the embodiment, only one such entrainment member 15 is present - is assigned to the outer circumference of the locking ring 14, a rotary driving recess 16, in which the respective driving member 15 engages. The driving member 15 is formed so narrow in the axial direction that it engages only on the locking ring 14.

The locking disk 13 and the locking ring 14 are in the axial direction outwardly of the guide groove 10 upstream. In this case, the locking disc 13 is expediently located on the side facing away from the machine head 3 of the locking ring 14 and is thus in the axial direction outwardly preceded the locking ring.

The outer diameter of the locking disc 13 and the locking ring 14 substantially corresponds to the inner diameter of the protective hood collar 7. In this context, it is expedient that on the outer circumference of the locking disc 13 and the locking ring 14 in the number of guide members 12 corresponding number of push-through recesses 17 and 18 is arranged, which serve for the insertion of the at least one guide member 12 when attaching or removing the protective cover 6. In this case, the at least one push-through recess 17 of the fixed locking disk 13 is arranged in alignment with the at least one passage recess 11 through which the guide groove 10 is accessible. The at least one push-through recess 18 of the rotatable locking ring 14, however, is arranged only in the assembly rotational position (eg, FIG. 3) of the protective hood 6 in alignment with the at least one through-passage 11. In this way, each guide member 12, there is the locking ring 14 in the assembly rotational position when plugging or removing the guard collar 7 from the spindle neck 5 on the locking disc 13 and the locking ring 14 move past.

If the diameter of the locking disk 13 and / or the locking ring 14 were smaller; could the through-cutouts 17 and 18 are omitted.

The locking ring 14 is, as already mentioned, arranged in view from below expediently behind the locking disc 13. Therefore, on the outer circumference of the locking disc 13, a through-hole 19 for inserting the arranged on the protective hood collar 7 driving member 15 is arranged so that the driving member 15 during assembly and disassembly of the protective cover 6 can move past the locking disc 13. If the diameter of the locking disk 13 were correspondingly smaller than the diameter of the locking ring 14, the through-hole 19 of the locking disk could be omitted.

The rotary driving recess 16 of the locking ring 14 is arranged in the assembly rotational position (Figure 3) of the protective cover 6 in alignment with the through-recess 19 of the locking disc 13. In all other angular positions of the guard, the driving member 15 engages behind the locking disc 13, you can see from the push-through recesses 17, which, however, may be smaller than the driving element 15. When connected to the spindle neck 5 guard 6 encloses the guard collar 7, the locking disc 13 and the locking ring 14. In addition, the guide groove 10 can be enclosed.

The at least one guide member 12 and the at least one driving member 15 are arranged on the inside of the protective hood collar 7. They are arranged offset in the axial direction of the distance between the guide groove 10 and the locking ring 14 corresponding to each other.

The locking ring 14 rotates when turning the protective cover 6, as already mentioned, so to speak ratcheting past the locking disc 13. At the latching disc 13 opposite side of the locking ring 14, a sliding ring 20 is arranged, on which the locking ring 14 is slidably mounted.

The locking ring 14 and the locking disc 13 are sufficiently firmly held against each other in the axial direction, so that the locking ring 14 in the individual angular positions can be rotated latching. For this purpose, expediently extending in the axial direction fastening screws 21 are provided which pass through the locking disc 13 and the locking ring 14 and then screwed to the locking disc and the locking ring in the spindle neck 5, so that the locking disc and the locking ring by means of the heads of the fastening screws 21 toward each other and held against the spindle neck.

In order to achieve locking in the successive angular positions, three detent balls are arranged on the detent disk 13, distributed over the circumference and projecting in the axial direction towards the detent ring 14, which are assigned a ring of detent recesses 23 arranged sequentially in the circumferential direction on the detent ring 14 , The number of locking recesses 23 corresponds to the number of angular positions in which the protective cover 6 is locked.

The arrangement could also be reversed so that the locking balls on the locking ring and the locking recesses are arranged on the locking disc. Furthermore, it could also be in the place of the locking recesses 23 to latching recesses. Furthermore, the locking balls 22 could also be replaced by other locking projections. In addition, more or less than three locking balls 22 and locking projections could be present.

The locking balls 22 sit in each case in a spherical, to the locking ring 14 towards open indentation 24 of the locking disc 13 and are available from the respective indentation 24 to the locking ring 14 towards.

In each angular position of the protective hood 6, the locking balls 22 each engage in one of the locking recesses 23. Upon further rotation of the protective cover 6, the detent balls 22 emerge from the detent recesses 23 and then latch into the respective next detent recesses 23.

In order to enable this ratcheting sliding past the locking ring 14 on the locking disc 13, the locking disc 13 is resilient at least in the region of the locking balls 22 in the axial direction. For this purpose, the locking disc 13 expediently made of spring steel.

Instead of the locking disk and the locking ring or both the locking disc and the locking ring could be designed to be resilient in the axial direction.

There are applications in which a determination of the protective cover 6 in the respective angular position is desired. For this purpose, it is expediently provided that the protective hood collar 7 is slotted and can be changed in diameter by means of a tensioning device 26 so that the protective hood collar 7, which is otherwise rotatable on the spindle neck 5, can be tightened on the spindle neck 5.

The protective hood collar 7 consists of strip-shaped material, whose end regions 27, 28 are angled radially outwards and lie opposite each other with the formation of a slot 29. The distance between the two end regions 27, 28 can be changed by means of a clamping screw 30, which passes through the two end regions 27, 28. The two end portions 27, 28 are arranged between the clamping screw head 31 and another end screwed onto the clamping screw 30 clamping nut 32, so that when screwing the clamping screw 30 relative to the clamping nut 32, the distance between the end portions 27, 28 changes. Between the clamping screw head 31 and the facing end portion 27, a washer or the like may be arranged.
