Ferner soll die Schutzhaube auch den Benutzer und die Umgebung im Falle einer Zerstörung des Werkzeugs schützen. Es kann beispielsweise vorkommen, dass eine Trennscheibe im Werkstück zerbirst, wenn sie dort in der Rotation verkantet wird. Hierbei muss durch die Schutzhaube sichergestellt sein, dass Fragmente der zerborstenen Trennscheibe, die mit teilweise hoher Energie weggeschleudert werden, nicht in den Bereich des Bedieners gelangen. Im Allgemeinen überdecken die Schutzhauben das Werkstück jedoch nur segmentweise, beispielsweise in einem Winkelbereich von etwa 180°, um dem Bediener ausreichende Arbeitsfreiheit am rotierenden Werkzeug und Werkstück zu lassen. Um die Schutzhauben in dem gewünschten Bereich verdrehen zu können, ist im Stand der Technik bekannt, die Schutzhaube lösbar zu befestigen, beispielsweise mittels eines an der Schutzhaube angeordneten Spannbandes. Hierzu sind Lösungen bekannt, bei denen das Spannband durch Lösen und Anziehen einer Klemmschraube im Umfang erweitert und verringert wird, so dass die Schutzhaube durch eine Klemmwirkung auf dem Maschinenhals festgehalten wird. Das Einstellen der Schutzhaube ist allerdings umständlich und erfordert Werkzeug, so dass häufig unter Umständen vom Bediener auf eine arbeitsgerechte Einstellung der Schutzhaube verzichtet wird, so dass die Positionierung der Schutzhaube auf dem Spannhals der Maschine nicht optimal ist. An dem Maschinenhals 15 sowie korrespondierend hierzu an dem Schutzhaubenhals 7 sind zum Zusammenwirken, nämlich dem Eingriff des Eingriffelements 28, Ausnehmungen 14 angeordnet, die im Wesentlichen auf gleichen Radien ausgehend von einem gedachten Zentrum des Maschinenhalses 15 liegen und somit gleiche Teilwinkel α einschließen. Das Eingriffelement 28 kann demzufolge die Ausnehmungen 14 durchdringen, wobei die Ausnehmungen 14 an dem Maschinenhals 15 als Vertiefungen 21, also nicht durchgehend, ausgebildet sind, und hierdurch den Schutzhaubenhals 7 relativ zum Maschinenhals 15 arretieren und festlegen. Durch Lösen, also Ausnehmen des Eingriffelements 28 aus den Ausnehmungen 14 durch Betätigen eines Endbereichs 30 des Hebels 27 wird der Schutzhaubenhals 7 innerhalb dieser Anordnung drehbeweglich, so dass er in einem anderen Winkelabstand a relativ zu den übrigen Komponenten angeordnet und durch Loslassen des Hebels 27 wieder arretiert werden kann.   9. Portable power tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the clamping device (24) is designed as a lever (27) having the engagement element (28).
  10. Portable power tool according to Claim 9, characterized in that the lever (27) is spring-loaded for fixing the engagement position of the engagement element (28).
  11. Portable power tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the engagement element (28) is arranged on an engagement lever, and the clamping device (24) can be actuated via a clamping lever.
  12. Portable power tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the engagement element (28) is a screw (25).
  13. Portable power tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the anti-rotation lock (34) is designed as an adjustable rotary device (35) of the protective hood (1) relative to the machine neck (15) by means of the engagement element (28) and by means of a sequence (13) of apertures (14) arranged on the protective hood neck (7) or on the protective hood neck (7) and the machine neck (15).
  14. Portable power tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the clamp (23) has at least one fastening tab which preferably runs radially and serves for the fastening to the machine housing (18).
  15. Portable power tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a locking groove which extends around at least part of the circumference is formed on the machine neck (15), said locking groove interacting with at least one groove engagement element, formed/arranged on the protective hood neck (7), for forming a means of captively locking the protective hood (1).
  16. Portable power tool according to Claim 15, characterized in that the groove has a groove entry guide.
  17. Portable power tool according to Claim 15 or 16, characterized in that the groove engagement element is a lug or has lugs.
