Das Zentrum 4 besteht nämlich aus einer im wesentlichen kreisförmigen Ronde, welche am Umfang mit einer Mehrzahl von sägezahnförmigen Vorsprüngen 3 besetzt ist. Einstückig mit einer Kante der sägezahnförmigen Vorsprünge 3 sind die Schaufelfüße 5 (in den Figuren 1 und 2 nicht zu erkennen) und die Lüfterschaufeln 2. welche mit der Ebene des Zentrums etwa einen rechten Winkel einschließen. - Method of manufacturing an impeller as claimed in claims 1 to 5, characterized by the following steps:a) stamping a flat sheet-metal blank to form a part whose shape corresponds to the development of the impeller, consisting of the center portion, the blade roots, and the blades, andb) bending the blades out of the plane of the center portion by about 90 angular degrees on a straight line at the boundary between the sawtooth-shaped projections and the blade roots.
- A method as claimed in claim 6, characterized in that after step a), the blades are first bent out of the plane of the center portion into a bowllike shape to produce the curvature, and, if necessary, are simultaneously twisted.
