Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for storing and dispensing thin, flat objects according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • DE 33 22 340 describes a sorting device connected downstream of copiers, in which a mechanism for separating receiving bases has at least two so-called curved elements in the form of cylindrical elements, each with a helical groove formed in the outer surface thereof. These curve members slide up and down on a drive shaft with a square cross section. On the individual, approximately rectangular, stacked sheet-receiving bases, pins are provided on both ends of a long side, which come into engagement with the grooves of the cam members for rotating the square drive shaft and then together with the respective receiving base depending on the direction of rotation of the shafts and thus the Curve elements can be moved up and down.
  • the individual sheets to be sorted are fed by means of a conveying device, the insertion rollers of which are arranged in a stationary manner on the side of the copying machine, while the output rollers arranged on the side of the sorter are moved analogously to the curve members so that the output rollers are always at a height and approximately in the middle of the curve members.
  • the at least two cam links are each slidably moved up and down on a square drive shaft, their assignment to the receiving bases is not particularly precisely defined, since the cam links are not precisely positioned. Due to the bend and the spacers on the two long sides of the receiving shelves, the space required is considerable even with a relatively small number of 10 to 20 receiving shelves. Furthermore, the stack of sheets deposited on the individual trays must be removed by hand each time a sorting process has ended.
  • the aim of the invention is to provide a device for storing and dispensing thin, flat objects, for example in the form of sheet-like material, such as banknotes, in which a large number of thin, flat objects are taken up individually, taking up an extremely small amount of space filed and, if necessary, can be reliably output again individually at any time.
  • a very large number of receptacles and thus also storage compartments are accommodated in a very small space, the space requirement increasing only insignificantly when storing sheet-like material, such as banknotes.
  • sheet-like material such as banknotes.
  • thin, sheet-like objects for example in the form of sheet-like material such as banknotes, or in the form of thin, disc-shaped material such as coins, are each individually introduced and also placed individually in each storage compartment.
  • both the input and the output always take place at the same place, since both the input and the output opening are fixed.
  • the feeding and input of each object can be carried out manually or automatically, while the output of each individually stored object is always carried out automatically either at the same point as the input or at a position which is offset or offset in relation to this input.
  • each of the cylindrical elements with the helical groove in its outer or inner surface is rotatable but arranged in a stationary manner, the continuous helical part, which has a number of winding surfaces corresponding to the plurality of receiving compartments, is only once in the helical form during assembly Groove each of the cylindrical elements. In contrast to the sorting device described at the beginning, such an insertion is required not to be carried out in the device according to the invention during use.
  • the receiving compartments are preferably in the form of thin, approximately rectangular lamellae, which preferably have cutouts on opposite narrow sides with a diameter which corresponds to the diameter of the shafts provided above and below the cylindrical elements.
  • the thin, preferably leaf-shaped lamellae can also be guided on their longitudinal side opposite an input and output opening by guide and stop rods.
  • one and the same opening can be used for the input and storage and also for the output of sheet-like material, such as bank notes, with a first pair of rollers controllable in its direction of rotation and at least on the side of the receiving compartments facing away from the opening a second pair of rollers is also provided, the direction of rotation of which can be controlled analogously to the rotational movement of the first pair of rollers as a function thereof is whether, for example, a banknote should be entered or output.
  • banknotes For example, always takes place in the area of the cylindrical, fixedly arranged, but rotatable elements, since only in their area the individual receiving compartments are separated from one another to such an extent that, for example, a banknote can easily be inserted or also can be removed again.
  • two openings can also be provided, which are preferably designed and arranged on different, opposite sides of the housing such that the dispensing opening is offset in height with respect to the entry opening.
  • at least a third pair of rollers is then preferably provided for dispensing banknotes, for example.
  • guide and stop rods attached near the output opening are dimensioned in such a length that they end somewhat below the second pair of rollers provided inside the housing, but a little above the center of the input opening. In this way it is achieved that each object brought in, for example in the form of a banknote, comes into contact with the stop rods and is thereby aligned.
  • two directly driven, cylindrical elements are preferably provided to separate some of the receiving compartments, each of which can be positioned so precisely on stationary threaded rods fixed in the housing of the device that at least always one receiving compartment through which in the helical groove formed on the outer surface of the cylindrical elements is temporarily separated from the other receiving compartments, is always arranged in the area of a roller or roller arrangement by means of which the sheet-shaped objects, preferably bank notes, are input or output.
  • the space in the housing can be used much better in this embodiment, since essentially over the entire height of the housing, which is approximately the length corresponds to the stationary threaded rod, receptacles arranged one above the other, preferably in the form of thin, flat slats, can be provided and accommodated.
  • roller or roller arrangement that is controllable in its direction of rotation for inputting and, if necessary, also outputting objects is always arranged at the same height, approximately in the central region of the cylindrical, movable elements, the roller or roller arrangement is made via appropriately designed connecting members, preferably with two drivable threaded rods connected, whose direction of rotation is then always controlled so that the correct positional relationship between the roller or roller arrangement and the cylindrical elements is given.
  • a second roller or roller arrangement is provided according to the invention, which is arranged on the side of the receiving compartments facing away from the first roller or roller arrangement and is connected via a corresponding connecting part to preferably two further drivable threaded rods; when they are rotated, the roller assembly is moved so that it is brought into abutment with this object for dispensing an object deposited and to be dispensed in approximately the middle region of the cylindrical elements and then due to the friction between the roller arrangement and the deposited object, for example a banknote is discharged from the device according to the invention with a corresponding rotation of the roller arrangement.
  • the cylindrical elements are each driven by means of rotatable tubes slotted at least once in the axial direction, which are fixed coaxially to the respective one in the housing Threaded rod and are arranged concentrically in an axial bore of the cylindrical elements.
  • a new receiving compartment is then brought into the area of the cylindrical elements with the continuous, helical part on each side of the cylindrical elements and on the other side another receiving compartment of the compartment stack located there added.
  • the first roller or roller arrangement is used only for the input and storage of sheet material, in addition to the already mentioned second roller or roller arrangement, the sheet material has to be discharged at least one third roller or roller arrangement can be provided, which in the embodiment according to the invention is offset in height with respect to the first roller arrangement on the opposite side of the housing and is moved up or down analogously to the movement of the first roller arrangement.
  • a stop is connected to this third roller arrangement, which can be moved together with the arrangement. The provision of this stop ensures that an object that has just been input and is intended for storage is deposited in the correct position.
  • the helical part is preferably accommodated in a cylindrical housing, and in order to separate some of the plurality of storage compartments, the helical part is, in contrast to the previously described embodiment, surrounded by a fixedly arranged element, in the cylindrical inner surface of which the helical groove is formed; that is, this embodiment constitutes the reverse of the above-described means for storing and accommodating sheet material such as banknotes.
  • At least two guide rods are fixedly attached to the housing, which are received in corresponding incisions in the helical part. Furthermore, the opening for introducing and dispensing preferably disk-shaped objects is provided in the stationary element, in the cylindrical inner surface of which the helical groove is formed.
  • the plurality of compartments are further formed by the two guide rods mentioned above and by rectangular plates, which are each only attached to two locations of each turn of the continuous, helical part.
  • the two attachment points for the platelets are preferably opposite the incisions in which the guide rods are received.

  • a third roller assembly 62 ⁇ is provided here, which is arranged on the side of the housing 50 ⁇ opposite the roller assembly 60 ⁇ and by means of which objects 70 are dispensed.
  • the roller arrangement 60 ⁇ In order to prevent an object entered by means of the roller arrangement 60 ⁇ from being immediately output again on the opposite side of the housing 501 by the roller arrangement 62 ⁇ , the latter is arranged somewhat higher than the roller arrangement 61 ⁇ . At the same time, a stop 620 ⁇ which can be moved with it is provided in the third roller arrangement 62 ⁇ . Objects introduced by the roller arrangement 60 ⁇ are aligned with the stop 620 ⁇ . The two roller or roller assemblies 60 ⁇ and 62 ⁇ are synchronous each moved so that the height offset shown schematically in Fig.4 is always maintained between them.
  • the last floor 20 ′′′ on which an object 70 is deposited is preferably raised by a corresponding rotation of the cylindrical elements 30 ⁇ so that it is connected to the second roller arrangement 61 ⁇ comes into contact and is discharged through this in cooperation with the third roller arrangement 62 ⁇ .
  • a preferably cylindrical housing 50 ⁇ houses a helical part 10 ⁇ , in which, as can be seen in particular from FIG. 14, each turn preferably has two incisions 11 ⁇ in which two guide rods 51 ⁇ are accommodated.
  • a spring 80 ⁇ is provided on each side of the cylindrical housing, which exerts a corresponding pressure on the respective end position of the helical part 10 ⁇ .
  • a rotatable, cylindrical element 30 ⁇ shown separately in FIG. 13, is provided approximately in the middle of the housing, in the inner surface of which a helical groove 31 ⁇ with approximately three winding surfaces is formed , with only the beginning of the groove being indicated in FIG. 13 by the reference symbol 31 ⁇ .
  • the helical groove 31 êt formed in the inner surface of the rotatable, cylindrical element 30 ⁇ as can be clearly seen in FIGS. 12a and 12b, approximately three winding surfaces of the helical part 10 ⁇ are grasped and separated from one another are separated.
  • an opening 40 ⁇ is formed in the cylindrical element 30 ⁇ which, like the cylindrical element 30 ⁇ , is arranged stationary with respect to the housing 50 ⁇ .
  • On the individual winding surfaces of the helical part 10 ⁇ as can be seen from FIG. 14, preferably approximately rectangular plates 20 ⁇ are attached at two points 12 ⁇ .
  • This plate 20 ⁇ attached to each winding surface of the helical part 10 ⁇ forms, in conjunction with at least two rods 52 attached in the right part of the housing 50 ⁇ , a receiving compartment in each of which, as can be seen from FIGS. 12a and 12b, a disk-shaped object such as a coin 70 and the like can be stored.
  • Such a disk-shaped object as can be seen from FIG. 12a, is introduced through the opening 40 ⁇ formed in the element 30 ⁇ into a compartment arranged under the opening 40 ⁇ .
  • the rotatable, cylindrical element 30 Element is then rotated in the direction indicated by an arrow in FIG. 12a, as a result of which the object 70 ⁇ which has just been introduced is conveyed into the right part of the device in FIG. 12a.
  • the rotatable cylindrical element 30 ⁇ need only be rotated in the direction shown in FIG. 12b.
