Definitions
- the invention relates to a terminal block for connecting individual conductors to ribbon cables, with a terminal block having the individual conductor connections, a ribbon conductor connection and a fixable lower part receiving the terminal block and the ribbon cable connection, in which a push-through guide is provided for the ribbon cable and the insulation-penetrating contacts are assigned to the individual conductor connections of the terminal block are provided for the guide channels running in the lower part to the push-through guide and the individual conductor connections in the terminal block are arranged in a grid offset designed according to the ribbon cable grid.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object of simplifying the production of such terminal blocks.
- the solution according to the invention consists in that the terminal block is made up of individual disks, each of which contains a plurality of individual connections arranged behind one another in the grid offset with the associated insulation-penetrating contacts.
- the manufacturing effort is considerably reduced as a result of this structure, since the actual terminal block can be assembled in the desired number of poles from the individual disks, which are always identical in structure, as required.
- the tool effort is low, since only one tool is required to manufacture the individual disks. Only the lower part for receiving the actual terminal block has to be manufactured separately for each conductor width.
- the manufacture is also simplified and therefore cheaper that the individual disks, which are assembled to form the actual terminal block, can easily be kept open on the side and the metal parts to be accommodated in the individual disks are therefore inserted in a particularly simple manner from the side into the individual disks made of insulating material can be.
- the terminal block for connecting individual conductors to ribbon cables has a lower part 1, on which means for fixing it are provided, for example on a standard mounting rail or on flat surfaces.
- a push-through guide 4 adapted to the width of a ribbon cable 3 to be connected is provided in the lower area of the lower part 1.
- the lower part 1 can be formed in several parts and have a special inner part, which essentially defines the push-through guide 4, the push-through guides 4 then opening on the insertion side in a frame housing of the lower part 1, while the rear frame side of the lower part 1 is closed can to form a stop and thus define the insertion depth for the ribbon cable 3.
- the arrangement also includes the actual terminal block 5 with the individual conductor connections 6. These can be formed, for example, from tension clips 7 with clamping screws 8. All individual conductor connections 6 are assigned insulation-penetrating contacts 9, for example in the form of double-blade contacts molded onto the tension bracket 5, which run downward through the terminal block 5 in the direction of the push-through guide 4.
- guide channels 10 are provided for all insulation penetrating contacts, as shown in Figure 3. The guide channels 10 initially open in the push-through guide 4, but are also extended a little beyond this downwards, so that the double knife after being pressed into the ribbon cable 3 and Penetration of the insulation with appropriate contact with the affected conductor of the ribbon cable have comfortable space, as also illustrated in FIG. 3.
- both a pre-locking and an end locking are provided in order to simplify handling.
- a latching lip 11 can be formed on the actual terminal block 5 on two opposite sides, for which two latching receptacles 12 and 13 which are arranged one above the other are provided on the corresponding inner wall area of the lower part 1.
- the terminal block manufacturer can deliver the arrangement so that the locking lip 11 is initially locked in the upper locking receptacle 12, in which position the double blades of the insulation-penetrating contacts 9 do not yet reach the push-through guide 4.
- the double blades of the insulation-penetrating contacts 9 penetrate the insulations of the ribbon cable 3 while making contact, while at the same time locking this end position by snapping the locking lip 11 into the lower locking receptacle 13 .
- the terminal block 5 is constructed from individual disks 14 according to the invention.
- the individual disks 14 can be assembled into terminal blocks of any number of poles.
- the individual disks 14 are expediently open at the side, as indicated in FIG. 1, in order to be able to insert the metal parts forming the individual conductor connections 6 from the side.
- the individual conductor connections 6 are arranged in the individual disks 14 in the terminal block 5 in a grid offset, which is designed according to the specified ribbon cable grid.
- Figure 2 illustrates such a grid offset.
- a be the specified ribbon cable grid.
- the offset between the first conductor connection 6 and the further three individual conductor connections 6 of a single pane 14 is then a, 2a and 3a, the width of a single pane 14 in each of its different offset planes being 4a.
- the currently standard ribbon cable grid is 1.27 mm.
- the offset dimensions of 1.27 mm, as well as double and triple thereof, can still be realized well and the total width of the individual pane 14 in its different offset planes is then 5.08 mm and thus a width at which the common design of the single conductor connections in the form of screw connections or spring connections can still be realized.
- the individual conductor connections 6 arranged in the individual disks 14 of the terminal block 5 in the grid offset have remained at a high position.
