Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a reinforcing iron holder for use in connection concreting, which is designed as a hollow body for receiving the free, bent ends of the reinforcing iron and has a first part to be turned towards the concrete wall to be erected and a second matching part, the first part being provided is to stay in the concrete wall.
  • Such a reinforcing iron holder is known from DE-A 3 320 847.
  • the part to be left in the wall is designed as a floor, which either has relatively long side walls or bent side walls, so that a great deal of lost material remains in the wall and has to be concreted in deeply, since all metal parts are usually surrounded by concrete due to the risk of corrosion must be, apart from the complicated manufacturing process.
  • the other element which is designed as a cover part, is designed as a channel and requires side parts to be produced separately and subsequently removed again.
  • EP-A 0 024 697 is a reinforcing iron holder which has a hollow body in which the reinforcing irons can be stored and a cover part which is to be turned towards the concrete wall to be erected first.
  • this holder has no special features so that the cover part can remain attached in the concrete wall.
  • This object is achieved with a reinforcing iron holder described in the claims.
  • the first embodiment of a reinforcing iron holder consists of a plastic box 1 and a wall-side cover part 2, which is made of metal and remains in the wall after the reinforcing iron holder has been concreted in.
  • the covering part remaining in the masonry 55 that is erected consists only of a plate that is relatively easy to manufacture on the one hand and that on the other hand has smaller dimensions than previously known parts of reinforcement brackets made of metal, which are intended to remain in the erected wall.
  • the box 1 has a circumferential, double, U-shaped edge 3 with an inner wall 4 and an outer wall 5.
  • the outer wall 5 has indentations 6 which are distributed around the entire outer wall. These indentations 6 cause concrete to get behind the remaining cover part plate 2 when the reinforcing iron holder is concreted in, as a result of which this plate is firmly connected to the wall and cannot come loose even when the iron is straightened and the plastic part of the holder is removed.
  • a cover strip 11 is arranged on each of the longitudinal edges and has recesses 12 on its outer side which correspond to the indentations 6 and recesses 13 in order to expose the pins 7.
  • sockets 15 are formed in the cover strip, which are guided through corresponding openings 16 in the cover part.
  • the sockets 15 taper upwards and have a hole 17 at the top through which reinforcing irons are inserted.
  • the inwardly facing part 18 of the cover strip and the inside of the socket 15 have a slot 19, as can be seen in FIG. 4.
  • both the box and the two Ab Cover moldings with the sockets molded in one piece from plastic.
  • the entire box in order to be able to insert the irons, the entire box must be spread around its longitudinal center line.
  • the reinforcing bars 14 are bent in the usual way, the free ends being convergent with respect to the longitudinal center line of the box.
  • the sockets enable the entire rounding, ie the transition between the bracket part and the free ends of the reinforcing iron, to be located within the holder. This ensures that after the plastic box and the frames have been removed, the reinforcing iron can be bent completely straight, as shown in FIG. 13.
  • the cover part 2 is made of metal. Since this cover part remains in the masonry, it is advantageous that the best possible connection is made between this metal part and the masonry. For this reason, it is expedient to give the cover part a rough surface, for example by producing it from expanded metal or, as shown in FIG. 6, by embossing and relatively sharp-edged elevations 20 in the cover part. However, other precautions can also be taken to increase the surface roughness.
  • connection between the box part and the cover part can also be made in a different way than by means of pins to be widened. It is also possible, for example, to connect the two parts by means of spot welding or gluing or to use other suitable fastening elements. In this exemplary embodiment, it may prove expedient to design the metal plate in several parts, for example it may be divided along the center line.
  • FIGS. 7 to 9 represent a second exemplary embodiment of a reinforcing iron holder, in which both the production and the assembly of the reinforcing iron holder are improved compared to the first exemplary embodiment.
  • the box 1 is the same as described above, while the longitudinal cover strips are omitted and the cover part has different cutouts. Instead of the longitudinal cover strips, the reinforcing irons 14 are held by transversely arranged iron holders 25, which also prevent cement milk from penetrating.
  • the iron holders also made of plastic, have a length which corresponds to the width of the box 1, and the cross section shown in FIG.
  • the upper part of the iron holder converges in the middle to form a rib 27 which has a longitudinal central slot 28 which extends to the openings 29 arranged on both sides, through which the two legs of the reinforcing iron 14 engage.
  • the rib can have a reinforcement 30 in the middle.
  • the actual holding part is followed by a hold-down piece 31, which, as the name implies, serves to hold down the reinforcing bars.
  • the irons When assembling the reinforcing iron holder, the irons are first placed in the box 1 with the curved and converging leg ends converging towards the center, with certain markings for determining the distances between the irons being able to be made beforehand, whereupon the iron holders are slipped over the brackets and pressed down , whereupon the cover plate 32, which in addition to the previously described holes 8 for the pins 7 has transversely arranged slots 33, which are arranged according to the desired distances between the reinforcing bars, is placed. Subsequently, the pins 7 are depressed, as before, either by means of a hammer, compressed air or a suitable device, and thus the cover plate is fastened to the box.
  • the cover plate When the cover plate is pressed down, it also presses on the peripheral edge 26 of the iron holder, as a result of which the iron holder together with the hold-down part 31 acts on the leg ends of the reinforcing iron and also causes the slot 28 in the iron holder to be compressed, as a result of which cement milk penetrates effectively is prevented.
  • the two long sides 3a of the box 1 can have depressions into which the two transverse edges of the iron holder engage in order to be able to use them at predetermined locations.
  • the use of iron brackets with a central rib ensures that the entire curvature of the reinforcing irons is located within the bracket, which ensures complete straightening after concreting.
  • FIGS. 10 and 11 A further exemplary embodiment of a reinforcing iron holder is described in FIGS. 10 and 11, which, compared to the previous example, further simplifies both the manufacture and the assembly.
  • the box 34 also has a circumferential, double, U-shaped edge 35 with an inner wall 36 and an outer wall 37.
  • the indentations 38 are here much longer than in the previous two examples, so that more concrete can get behind the cover plate to fix it better.
  • the two long sides 39 of the inner edge 36 each have a shoulder at the top 40 on which the edges 41 of the transverse sides of the iron holders 42 are supported, which are correspondingly shorter than those described in the previous exemplary embodiment.
  • the box also has a longitudinal center rib 43 which rises from the floor at approximately the same height as the peripheral edge 35.
  • the hold-down part 44 of the iron holder has depressions 45 which are arranged on both sides of the central longitudinal rib 43 and serve as a guide.
  • means for aligning the iron brackets can be, for example, small depressions 47 on the sides of the longitudinal central rib, into which corresponding cams 48 engage, which are arranged on the guide sides 49 of the depressions 45 facing the longitudinal central rib 43 on the hold-down part.
  • marking means can also be provided, for example small pegs on the upper edge of the longitudinal central rib, which engage in holes in the hold-down part or vice versa.
  • the cover plate 46 is similar to the previous example, except that the pins 7 are only arranged on the peripheral edge and engage in corresponding openings 8. But it is also possible to provide pins on the longitudinal center rib 43 which engage through corresponding openings in the cover part.
  • the rib 50 in the iron holder has no reinforcement in the middle and is particularly well suited to form a tight seal, since it has been found that when the edges 41 arranged on both sides of the rib are pressed, the two edges of the slot 51 in FIG Rib pressed against each other.
  • holder inserts 52 which are also supported on the two shoulders 40 of the longitudinal edges and which have depressions 53 arranged on both sides of the longitudinal center rib 43.
  • the assembly of this iron holder described last is very simple. First, the reinforcing irons are inserted at the previously specified points, the iron holders are placed at the marked points and the holder inserts are placed on them, and then the cover plate is attached, then the pins are compressed using a hammer or a suitable device to secure the cover plate.
  • the reinforcing iron holder not only offers significant advantages in terms of manufacture and assembly, but also when fastening it and when installing the connecting masonry.
  • the box is preferably produced from a plastic film.
  • the material of the cover plates 32 or 46 is the same as that of the cover plate 2 of the first example and can be made of expanded metal or a metal plate with a roughened surface.
  • the bottom of the box 1 or 34 also has support and guide surfaces to ensure that the reinforcing bars are held down securely.
  • the three reinforcement iron holders described and shown above relate to reinforcement irons with a bracket and two free legs, but it is possible to provide a correspondingly modified reinforcement iron holder for reinforcement irons which have only one shackle and one open bracket.
  • the width of the reinforcing iron will only be approximately half that of the reinforcing iron, for example according to FIG. 10, and where the longitudinal central rib 43 is located, the other longitudinal wall is arranged, which has the same shoulder 40.
  • the iron holders and the holder inserts are then shaped accordingly, i.e. the iron holders have an opening in the middle and a correspondingly shaped hold-down part, while the holder inserts have only one recess.
  • the reinforcing irons can be inserted first and the iron holder and the insert pieces placed or plugged on, whereupon the cover plate can be put on and fastened by means of the pins reaching through corresponding openings.
