Description

The invention relates to a rolling shutter for door, window and other openings composed of a winding and / or unwinding shaft of an apron formed of blades provided with gripping means cooperating with drive means integral in rotation with 'a second shaft arranged downstream relative to the winding shaft maintained by lateral flanges of the box and of guide rails in which the lateral ends of the deck blades slide.

To protect the roofs of glass verandas, the skylights of the roofs against the sun, a roller shutter is used, the deck of which moves almost horizontally. Unlike the roller shutters arranged vertically, the deployment of the deck is no longer subject to the effect of gravity and it is necessary to provide means ensuring the movement of the deck in both directions.

The various blades of the deck are interconnected by an articulation constituted by a sectional section in "C" whose the two curved ends slide through slots made in the longitudinal edges of the different blades. These curved ends cooperate with bosses integral with one of the walls of said slots. The side edges of the blades are fitted with end caps threaded inside the blades. These tips have several pins whose spacing corresponds to the pitch of the toothed drive wheels.

However, for proper operation, it is necessary that the axis of the last stud of the blade upstream and the first stud of the blade downstream is identical to the center of the different - studs integral with the end piece . However, this spacing of the last stud of the blade upstream and the first stud of the blade downstream is variable depending on the direction of movement of the deck.

In one direction, the movement of the deck takes place by thrust transmitted from one blade to another. To this end, the longitudinal edges of the two consecutive blades touch and the center distance between the last stud of the blade upstream and the first stud of the blade downstream has a minimum value.

On the other hand, in the other direction, the movement of the apron is effected by traction transmitted from one blade to the other by means of the “C” shaped profile. There is therefore a stretch and the distance between the last stud of the blade upstream and the first stud of the blade downstream has a maximum value.

The value of the center distance between the nipples of the nozzle can only correspond to either the minimum value or the maximum value, but in no case can it correspond to the two values at the same time. Thus, in one of the directions there is necessarily an alternation between the axis of the nipples of the same blade and the axis of the nipples between two consecutive axes. This alternation is incompatible with the regular pitch of the toothed wheels.

The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks. The invention as characterized in the claims solves the problem of creating a rolling shutter consisting of a winding and / or unwinding shaft of an apron and a second shaft provided at each end of drive means having an idle stroke suitable for the variable pitch separating two means for gripping two consecutive blades, these drive means being urged by motor means ensuring the rotation of the winding shaft.

The advantages obtained thanks to this invention consist essentially in that the drive means have a pitch which adapts to the variable pitch resulting from the displacement in opposite directions of the different blades, which allows horizontal displacement in both directions of the deck.

  • Figure 2 shows a partial plan view of this shutter.
  • Figure 3 shows, in plan view and in section, the drive means of the roller shutter deck.
  • Figure 4 shows, in side view, the operating principle of the drive means.

On se réfère aux figures 1 et 2.We refer to Figures 1 and 2.

This deck 2 is held laterally by two guide rails 6 having a "U" shaped section. The two parallel wings of the guide rails 6 cover the lateral ends 7, 8, 9 of the blades 3, 4, 5, the latter sliding between said parallel wings. The two guide rails 6 are interconnected, at one of their ends 10, by a cross member 11 against which the last blade 12 of the deployed deck 2 will abut. The other end 13 of the slides 6 is integral with flanges lateral bars serving as a support for a winding shaft 15 on which is wound and from which the deck 2 takes place, the first blade of which is fixed by an appropriate means 16 to said shaft 15.

This shaft 17 is located downstream of the winding shaft 15 and it is also maintained by the side plates. The second shaft 17 comprises drive means cooperating with gripping means integral with the different blades 3, 4, 5 of the deck 2. For this purpose, there are on the two sides 18 of the shaft 17 drive means consisting of cam wheels 19 meshing with gripping means formed for each blade 3, 4, 5 of a single stud 22, 23, 24 protruding with respect to the two lateral edges 25, 26 of the blades 3, 4, 5. These cam wheels 19, integral in rotation with the second shaft 17, have an idle stroke and, for this purpose, have a configuration of stars whose branches 20, 21 consist of an involute of a circle (see figure 4). Said branches 20, 21 are interconnected by a curvilinear segment 27. Due to the particular shape of the branches 20, 21 the pins 22, 23, 24 can perform an idle stroke by sliding along the sides 28, 29 of these branches 20, 21 and position themselves according to the pitch 30 between two consecutive pins 22, 23. In fact, the pitch 30 is variable depending on the movement of the deck 2. When the deck 2 is in the unwinding phase, each blade 4 exerts a push on the previous 3. As a result, the longitudinal edges 31, 32 of the blades 3, 4 are joined and the step 30 has a minimum value. By cons, when the deck 2 is in the winding phase, there is traction and the different blades 3, 4 deviate from each other. Thus, step 30 has a maximum value. The difference between the maximum and minimum values of the pitch 30 is absorbed by the sliding of the pins 22, 23, 24 along the flanks 28, 29 of the branches 20, 21 of the cam wheel 19.

Due to the fact that there is a drive in both directions of the deck 2, it is possible to arrange the roller shutter 1 horizontally or to place the winding shaft 15 and drive shaft 17 assembly at the bottom of the shutter rolling vertical. It is obvious that the roller shutter can occupy an intermediate position between the horizontal position and the vertical position.

According to a first embodiment, the motor means drive only the second shaft 17. The latter, passing through one of the flanges 14, is coupled to a manual or automatic control device. This control device rotates the second shaft 17 which thus becomes the drive shaft while the winding shaft 15 of the deck 2 is a driven shaft. The latter being free to rotate, the thrust exerted on the deck 2 by the second shaft 17 causes the rotation of the winding shaft 15. A spring tensioned in the latter is incorporated in the latter while the deck 2 is unfolding and acting during winding. Therefore, it facilitates the rotation of the winding shaft 15 as and when the arrival of the blades 3, 4, 5 pushed by the branches 20, 21 of the cam wheels 19 of the second tree 17.

A cet effet, l'invention prévoit un second mode de réalisation selon lequel les moyens moteurs assurent l'entraînement soit de l'arbre d'enroulement 15, soit du second arbre 17.However, over time, the spring may be subject to fatigue. Therefore, either it must be replaced, or it is necessary to provide adjustment means to modify the defective spring. To this end, the invention provides a second embodiment according to which the motor means ensure the drive either of the winding shaft 15 or of the second shaft 17.

On se réfère aux figures 3 et 4.We refer to Figures 3 and 4.

The shaft 15 has at one of its ends 33 a tip 34 provided with a hub 35 engaged in a bearing 36 with ball bearing 37. This bearing 36 is integral with the internal face 38 of one of the lateral flanges 39 of the box.

At the other end 40, the shaft 15 has a freewheel end piece 41 in which is threaded a hub 42 having a toothed pinion 43. The rotation of the freewheel end piece 41 is integral with that of the shaft 15 but can be independent of that of the hub 42. The hub 42 has on one of its ends 44 a bearing 45 engaged in a bearing 46 with ball bearing 47. This bearing 46 is integral with the internal face 48 of the other lateral flange 49 from the housing. This hub 42 has a bore 50 in which is engaged the control means such as the shaft of a winch (not shown).

The freewheel end piece 41 includes a locking lug 51 urged into the action position by an elastic element 52 held by a tightening element such as a screw 53. The locking lug 51, the elastic element 52 and the clamping element 53 are housed in an orifice 54, the axis 55 of which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 56 of the winding shaft 15. The lower end 57 of the locking pin 51, in position of action of the latter, protrudes relative to the periphery of the bore 58 produced in the freewheeling tip 41 in which the hub 42 is threaded. The latter comprises on its outer periphery 59 a notch 60 whose width corresponds to that of the locking lug 51. This notch 60 has an action face 61 against which the locking lug 51 abuts when the winding shaft 15 is driven by the winch to cause the winding of the deck 2. Perpendicular to this action face 61, the notch 60 has an erasure face 62. The f ace of action 61 is parallel to the axis 55 of the orifice 54, therefore parallel to the direction of movement of the locking lug 51. When the hub 42 rotates in the other direction to obtain the unwinding of the deck 2, the erasing face 62 causes the locking pin 51 to retract so that the latter bears on the periphery 63 of the hub 42. As a result, there is no longer any connection between the latter and the freewheel end 41 and the rotation of one 42 becomes independent of the rotation of the other 41. Thus, during the unwinding phase of the deck 2, the winding shaft 15 rotates without being driven by the winch.

The hub 66 has a bearing 68 threaded into a bearing 69 with ball bearing 70 secured to the internal face 48 of the lateral flange 49. On this hub 66 is threaded a freewheel end piece 71 engaged in the end 18 of the second shaft 17. This freewheel end piece 71 is rotationally secured by a fastening element 72 of the cam wheel 19 meshing with the lateral pins 22, 23, 24 of the different blades 3, 4, 5 of the deck 2. In the freewheel end piece 71 is produced at least one orifice 73 in which are engaged a locking lug 74 and an elastic element 75 held under tension by a clamping element 76. The lower end 77 of the locking lug 74 projects relative to the periphery of the bore 78 produced in the freewheeling tip 71 and engages in a notch 79 formed in the hub 66. This notch 79 has the same configuration as the notch 60, that is to say comprises an action face 80 and an erasing face 81, perpendicular to the first 80. However, if in the case of notch 60, the erasing face 62 is located to the right of the action face 61, in the case of the notch 79, the erase face 81 is located to the left of the action face n 80. Thus, in the winding phase, when the locking lug 51 is protruding and transmits the winch drive to the winding shaft 15, the locking lug 74 is in the retracted position and the second shaft 17 can rotate freely relative to the toothed pinion 65.

The locking pin 74 is in the projecting position and the hub 66 rotates the second shaft 17 as a result of the action of the locking lug 74 against the action face 80 of the notch 79, which causes the rotation of the freewheel end piece 71 and, consequently, the rotation of the cam wheel 19 and the second tree 17.

The latter has at its other end 82 a second cam wheel 83 made integral in rotation with the second shaft 17 by means of a fixing element 84 ensuring the connection between the wheel 83 and a nozzle 85 whose hub 86 is engaged in a bearing 87 with ball bearing 88, this bearing 87 being integral with the internal face 38 of the lateral flange 39 of the box.

On se réfère à la figure 5.We refer to figure 5.

According to another embodiment, the winding shaft 15 comprises an incorporated motor 89. The shaft 90 of this incorporated motor 89 is connected by a coupling 91 to a driven shaft 92 made integral in rotation with the hub 42 and the 'freewheel end 41. All the other elements are identical to those described above.
