Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a curtain door with rapid vertical opening.
All these quick-opening curtain doors have side rails, stiffening bars and a drive device for winding up straps as well as stirrups or guide rings arranged for the passage of the door straps and, optionally, rollers or the like rolling in the side rails. One of the major drawbacks of these curtain doors consists of the numerous points of friction existing between certain elements of the door during the winding or unwinding of the flexible curtain, in particular the friction of the various stiffening bars, one on the other, the friction of the curtain on the lateral sides of the slides and the friction of the straps in the guide rings and against the curtain, which causes either wear of the curtain or wear of the curtain and the straps. In addition, the winding of this type of door is done with great noise, the different horizontal bars piling up on each other and the stirrups and rollers coming to strike on the side uprights. The pulleys used for this purpose for winding the straps are placed on the motor shaft, and consequently damage the latter during their winding, the straps being able to deviate from their correct trajectory and get on the sharp edges of the pulleys, causing them to wear out prematurely.
The object of the invention is to remedy these drawbacks nients and to provide a curtain door with rapid vertical opening, having practically no more friction points, consequently not causing premature wear either of the curtain or of the straps, which is not very noisy and which, moreover, has the advantage of being extremely waterproof.
To this end, according to the invention, the door comprises a structure formed by two vertical lateral uprights serving as slides and an upper box, a flexible curtain, one end of which is fixed to a substantially horizontal support, said curtain extending freely. downwards in the closed position and being stiffened by horizontal crosspieces distributed substantially regularly along the height of said lateral uprights, at least one of these crosspieces being provided at the lower end of said curtain, said lower crosspiece being arranged to bear on straps by means of guide and strap winding means arranged in the aforementioned upper box, said guide and winding means comprising a shaft - mounted on an upper transverse support, a drive device for the shaft and, for each strap, a grooved pulley arranged to send the strap onto the shaft in a correct position, said straps being linked bres over the entire height of the door.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the curtain extends substantially over the entire width of the door so as to ensure the lateral sealing of the latter.

In the different figures, the same reference notations designate identical or analogous elements.
The curtain door with vertical opening shown in the accompanying drawings comprises a structure formed by two vertical lateral uprights 1 serving as slides and an
As can be seen in Figure 3 of the accompanying drawings, the curtain is wound easily, practically without friction and in a small space, the
It will also be noted, as already mentioned previously, that the lateral sealing of the door is excellent. Indeed, the
It will be readily understood, taking into account the above, that starting from the closed position represented by FIGS. 1 and 2, the control of the drive device 11 in the correct direction will cause the straps to be wound on the
It should be understood that the present invention is in no way limited to the above embodiments and that many modifications can be made thereto without departing from the scope of this patent.
