Definitions
- the invention relates to a current feedthrough, in particular for refrigeration machines, with a disk-like insulating body made of at least slightly elastic material, in particular elastomers, thermoplastics or the like, from which a knob which is penetrated by electrically conductive elements and tapers towards the end is formed.
- Such a feedthrough is disclosed in DE-A-1 464 203: the knob protruding from the disk-like insulating body is inserted into a counterpart of another disk-like insulating body.
- This counterpart is a pipe stub with a tapering interior and an annular bead protruding into it, which keeps engaging in an annular groove on the outside of that knob.
- the result is a cross-sectionally H-shaped insulating body made of elastically stable insulating material with a through channel for an electrical conductor.
- the conductor pins are locked in their position by means of this seal and are sealed airtight by the seal cast into the desired shape on the spot.
- the two-part construction of the current lead-through is very complex both during manufacture and during assembly.
- the connection between the current feedthrough on the one hand and the conductor passing through it on the other hand is not sufficiently reliable.
- the inventor has set himself the task of simplifying the manufacture and assembly of a current feedthrough of the type mentioned at the outset, reducing the cost and at the same time increasing the operational reliability.
- the insulating body consists of a base which carries a plurality of eccentrically provided knobs and is reinforced by means of a flange projecting radially from a cylindrical knob part and which is formed in one piece from temperature-resistant, chemical-insensitive material, in particular injection-molded, the facing the knobs Surface of the base or flange, a contact edge and the outer surface of each element designed as a conductor pin is connected gas-tight to the knob surrounding it.
- a particular advantage is the one-piece construction of the support and the insulating body, that is to say of the base and the knobs, which has a considerable influence on both the manufacture and the handling.
- the conical knob section facilitates insertion into the bores of the compressor wall or the like, whereas the cylindrical part ensures a perfect seal.
- an approximately radially projecting annular bead is provided at the transition between the conical part of the knob and the cylindrical knob part.
- the wall of the compressor capsule lies on the knobs between the base and this bead, the latter on the one hand indicating the correct installation of the current feedthrough and on the other hand serving as resistance to its being pushed out of the capsule.
- cylindrical knob part is encompassed by an annular bead which is directed parallel to the knob and protrudes from the surface of the base.
- This ring bead serves as a system for the capsule wall and for sealing the same.
- the conductor pin penetrates a cylindrical blind hole in the insulating body, which extends from a lower surface of the base to approximately the end of the cylindrical knob part stretches.
- This blind hole surrounds the conductor pin in a ring shape in cross-section and makes it possible to simplify the assembly of the current lead-through; the latter can be compressed when inserted into a bore in the capsule wall or the like.
- a disk-shaped base 10 of a current feedthrough 11 is provided on a surface 12 with three knobs 14 formed from it, in each of which an electrically conductive pin 15 is embedded centrally.
- Base 10 and knobs 14 are injection-molded in one piece from electrically non-conductive elastomer or thermoplastics.
- the freely protruding pin ends 16 can be designed with or without an upset contact surface, depending on the electrical power to be transmitted.
- the knobs 14 each have a conical part 19 extending from their forehead 18, which is used for centering when the current feedthrough 11 is buttoned into a capsule (not shown) of a compressor.
- a cylindrical knob part 20 adjoining the conical part 19 is to a certain extent larger than the associated bore of the capsule, which is also not shown, and represents the actual sealing element of the entire current feedthrough 11.
- annular bead 21 is arranged, against which the wall of the capsule, not shown, bears after assembly.
- This bead 21 indicates the correct mounting position of the current leadthrough 11 and also serves as a stop for the capsule of the compressor in order to prevent the current leadthrough 11 from sliding out unintentionally.
- the disk-shaped base 10 is reinforced by a flange 23 projecting laterally from the cylindrical knob parts 20, as illustrated in FIG. 3.
- the flange 23 serves as a system for the current feedthrough 11 on the wall of the capsule; the latter rests on a bulge 24 encompassing the knob 14, which also contributes to the sealing.
- each conductor pin 15 of the current feedthrough 11 there is a recess 26 with a circular cross section, which extends from the lower surface 13 of the base 10 and extends to approximately the end of the cylindrical knob part 20; this recess 26 thus forms a blind hole and an annular gap around the conductor pin 15.
- the cylindrical nub part 20 is - as said - kept somewhat larger than the associated bore in the capsule, and the annular gap enables a due to the flexibility of the nub 14 thereby obtained easier insertion into the capsule.
- the internal pressure lies against the wall 27 of the recess 26 or the annular gap, so that this results in an additional seal.
- the connection between the - made of brass or iron - conductor pins 15 on the one hand and the knobs 14 on the other hand is gas-tight.

Description
- Figur 1 eine Seitenansicht einer Stromdurchführung ;
- Figur 2 die Draufsicht auf Fig. 1 ;
