Definitions
- the invention relates to a ventilation and drying rack according to the preamble of claim 1.
- laundry umbrellas as they are known for example from CH-PS 390 863, are very popular as ventilation and drying devices for clothing and laundry. With them it is possible to hang up a large amount of clothing and laundry items in a small space. Even large parts such as bed linen and tablecloths are not a problem. Clothesline lengths up to 70 meters are not uncommon. These devices have the special advantage that they can be folded up when not in use in a confined space. A disadvantage of these laundry umbrellas is the disorganized hanging of the clothesline in the folded state. The clothesline can get tangled easily and is also exposed to heavy soiling.
- the object of the invention is to provide a ventilation and drying rack with a clothes line pull-in device, by means of which the clothes line is automatically drawn into the arms when the frame is collapsed, this process being possible with as little effort as possible and without additional spring elements in the arms of the spreading frame got to;
- the manufacturing costs should be compared to the currently used ventilation and drying racks must not be higher, the assembly must be easy to manufacture and the device must not require any additional manipulations during operation.
- the dimensional adjustment of the slider, the leakage sections and the actuating elements with spring ensures that the spreading frame can be folded in and up particularly easily and easily and that the clothesline is pulled tight into the arms when folded.
- a further simplification of assembly is achieved by training the arms as one-sided open profiles with segment cover.
- the screen corner can thus be installed in openings or holes without any threading work. Incorrect assemblies are excluded. This enables a high degree of prefabrication to be achieved.
- this ease of installation is additionally accommodated by the special design of the slide. Furthermore, a particularly easy run is achieved in the guides.
- a mounting star 2 is mounted on a mast 1 so that it can be moved but locked in relation to a fixed point 3.
- Arms 4, between which corner 5 are stretched, are pivotably mounted on mounting star 2. They are supported against the fixed point 3 via spreading arms 6.
- the individual SeiLecke 5 are each articulated to a slide 7 inside the arms 4.
- the outermost slider 8 is connected to an actuating element 9, which is guided via a deflection rail 10 in the arm 4 to a sliding ring 11.
- the sliding ring 11 is supported with the interposition of a spring 12 at the fixed point 3. Both the fixed point 3 and the sliding ring 11 are provided with an internal thread 13 into which the spring 12 is screwed.
- a pull cable 15 is fastened to the sliding ring 11, which is from the sliding ring 11 via a deflection 16 in the fastening star 2, a further order Steering 17 at fixed point 3 runs back to mounting star 2. An actuating end 18 is led out of this.
- the arms 4 consist of a box-shaped profile open on one side. It is divided by longitudinal ribs 19 into a sliding shaft 20, which serves as a guide for the slide 7, a washing line shaft 21 for the washing line 22 and a shaft 23 for the segment covers 24.
- the segment covers 24 have the length of the cable corner distance 25 of two adjacent screen corners and are provided at the end with an opening 26 for the clothes line 22.
- the washing line 22 is designed in the form of individual corner 5. These corner pieces 5 have the shape of squares on the floor and are provided with a bracket 27 at their corner points 28. The corner points 28 of the individual rope corner 5 are suspended in receptacles 29 of the slider 7 via this clamp 27. In the outermost slide 8, the actuating element 9 is suspended in a further receptacle 30. The actuating element 9 is guided between the rear wall 31 of the profi and the slider 7 in a channel 32, for the formation of which the slider 7 is provided with two slide levers 33. As in FIG. 3, the slides 7, 8 are easily recognizable, approximately meandering in longitudinal section, as a result of which the two receptacles 29 and 30 are formed.
- An elongated hole 34 which opens into an enlarged insertion opening 35, is provided for holding the clamp 27.
- the actuating element 9 is held in the receptacle 30 by means of a node 36 and is guided through a hole 37 into the channel 32.
- the movement sequence when the ventilation control is actuated is described below with reference to FIG. 1.
- the slide ring 11 moves up during the train at the actuating end 18 of the pull cable 15 Reason for the counter-pull by the actuating element 9 downwards.
- the spring 12 is tensioned.
- the downward movement of the sliding ring with simultaneous tensioning of the spring 12 is caused by the relatively large adjustment path of the clothes line 22 compared to the path of the fastening star 2 on the mast 1.
- the relative movement of the clothes line 22 to the fastening star 2 reverses and the sliding ring 11 is pulled up again by the spring 12, whereby it supports the spreading movement of the arms 4 and tensions the clothes line 22 or the rope corner 5.
- the spring 12 therefore fulfills two functions, it supports the opening process and compensates for the relative movement between the fastening star 2 and the actuating element 9 or washing line 22.
- the fastening star 2 which is locked on the mast 1 via a latch (not shown), is unlocked.
- the closing process is initiated by swiveling the arms 4 in the direction 40.
- the path of the fastening star 2 on the mast is longer than the pulling in of the clothesline.
- the sliding ring 11 moves downwards by tensioning the spring 12. Only at a certain spread angle 38 is the relative movement reversed.
- the insertion of the screen corner 5, starting from the outermost screen corner S1 begins through the actuating element.
- the outermost slider 8 begins to move inwards and takes the next slider 7 with it.
- the drawing in of the screen leak S2 begins and triggers the drawing in of the screen leak S3 after the slide 7 again acts on the following slide.
- the pivoting of the arms 4 is supported by the tension force of the spring 12. In the closed state of the expansion frame 14, the slides lie close together; the clothesline or the pieces 41 of the screen corner 5 lying around the mast are stretched.
- the slides 7, 8 In order to ensure that all pieces 41 lying around the mast 1 are evenly stretched, the slides 7, 8 must each have a length 39 which corresponds to half the difference in length 43 between two adjacent rope corner sections, for example S2 - S3.
- the distance between the innermost articulation point 42 of the innermost wire leak from the mast 1 corresponds to half the length of the wire leak section S3 plus the length 39 of a slide 7.
- the slide 7, 8 all have the same length at the same wire corner distance 25 of the individual wire corner 5.

The invention relates to a ventilation and drying rack according to the preamble of
These so-called laundry umbrellas, as they are known for example from CH-PS 390 863, are very popular as ventilation and drying devices for clothing and laundry.
The object of the invention is to provide a ventilation and drying rack with a clothes line pull-in device, by means of which the clothes line is automatically drawn into the arms when the frame is collapsed, this process being possible with as little effort as possible and without additional spring elements in the arms of the spreading frame got to; The manufacturing costs should be compared to the currently used ventilation and drying racks must not be higher, the assembly must be easy to manufacture and the device must not require any additional manipulations during operation.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of
Further advantageous refinements of the invention can be found in the subclaims.
The dimensional adjustment of the slider, the leakage sections and the actuating elements with spring ensures that the spreading frame can be folded in and up particularly easily and easily and that the clothesline is pulled tight into the arms when folded.
A further simplification of assembly is achieved by training the arms as one-sided open profiles with segment cover. The screen corner can thus be installed in openings or holes without any threading work. Incorrect assemblies are excluded. This enables a high degree of prefabrication to be achieved.
In a further embodiment of the invention, this ease of installation is additionally accommodated by the special design of the slide. Furthermore, a particularly easy run is achieved in the guides.
An embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawings.
- 1 shows a ventilation and drying rack, left half in spread position, right half closed, the arms being cut,
- FIG. 2 shows a partial view in the direction II in FIG. 1,
- Figure 3 is a section along the line III - III in Figure 2 and
- 4 shows a section along the line IV-IV in FIG.
To open the
The
The
The movement sequence when the ventilation control is actuated is described below with reference to FIG. 1. Starting from the closed position, the
When the ventilation frame is closed, the
In order to ensure that all
The distance between the
