Description

The present invention relates to a folding box for receiving plastic bags wound into a roll, a tear-off strip which opens up a removal opening being provided in the area of a folding box wall, and the removal opening in the central region of its lower boundary edge having an approximately trapezoidal tear-off tab for the perforated crosswise to the unrolling direction and with the center has a catch slot provided plastic bag.

Faltschachteln der vorerwähnten Art sind anfich bekannt.Folding boxes of the type mentioned above are known.

In the known folding boxes of the generic type, the tear strip is on the rear wall, i.e. on the wall on which the lid is articulated with a locking tab.

The construction of these known folding boxes has proven itself in principle, but it is still perceived as a disadvantage that the tear-off tab is relatively weak, since it consists only of the material of the rear wall. Another disadvantage of the previously known generic folding boxes is the fact that the folding boxes can be opened without damaging the tear-off tab. In this respect, it is necessary to provide the previously known folding boxes of the type in question with an additional covering in order to ensure that unauthorized removal of plastic bags is no longer possible or that it is immediately apparent that an unauthorized removal of plastic bags has taken place.

The present invention has for its object to design a folding box of the generic type so that a strengthening of the tear-off tab is achieved and at the same time an opening of the folding box is only possible after the tear-off strip has been removed beforehand.

This problem is solved in a generic folding box by the following features:
  • a) The tear strip is part of the closure flap,
  • b) the locking tab extends over the front wall to the floor and is glued to the front wall in the area between the floor and the tear strip,
  • c) the section of the front wall located above the lower edge of the removal opening is connected only to the remaining front wall material via a weakened folding edge and can be folded down into the interior of the folding box,
  • d) the foldable part of the front wall is shorter than the total length of the front wall, so that a retaining tab is formed on the end for the remaining part of the closure tab after the tear-off strip has been removed.

A number of technical advantages are achieved by such a folding box construction.

First of all, it should be noted that by opening the tear strip in the area of the closure flap, opening the folding box is only possible if the tear strip is removed. An unauthorized opening of the folding box is therefore immediately recognizable.

By connecting the lower region of the closure flap to the front wall, the tear-off flap for tearing off the individual plastic bags is significantly strengthened without this measure becoming one Increased consumption of material for the production of the folding box leads.

The part of the front wall that can be folded inwards brings additional reinforcement to the lower edge of the removal opening. In addition, the part of the front wall that is folded inwards ensures good guidance of the roll inside the box.

The lateral holding tabs for the remaining upper part of the sealing tab make it possible to insert this remaining upper part of the sealing tab into the interior of the box after opening the folding box, so that the lid cannot accidentally open with the adjacent upper part of the sealing tab. This considerably simplifies the handling of the folding box when the plastic bags are removed.

Weitere Merkmale der Erfindung sind Gegenstand von Unteransprüchen.Further features of the invention are the subject of dependent claims.

In the accompanying drawings, an embodiment of the invention is shown, which is described in more detail below.

The blank for a folding box shown in FIG. 1 is made in one piece and comprises a front wall 1, a bottom 2, a rear wall 3, a lid 4 with a closure flap 5 hinged thereon, and side walls 6 and adhesive flaps 7.

The closure flap 5 is provided with a tear strip 8 which is offset approximately trapezoidally in the central region.

The closure flap 5 completely overlaps the front wall 1 when the folding box is finished and is glued to the front wall 1 in the region below the tear strip 8.

Die Faltkante 10 verläuft parallel zur Unterkante des Aufreißstreifens 8.The front wall 1 has an upper part 9, which is connected to the rest of the front wall material exclusively by a weakened folded edge 10. The folded edge 10 runs parallel to the lower edge of the tear strip 8.

The upper parts 9 of the front wall 1 is overall shorter than the total length of the front wall 1, so that a retaining tab 11 remains at the end.

After the tear strip 8 has been removed, the lid 4 can be raised with the upper region of the closure flap 5, so that the inside of the folding box is accessible.

The folding box is intended to hold plastic bags that are wound into a roll. Such a role is indicated in FIG. 4.

After opening the folding box, the roll is first removed from the folding box. Now the upper part 9 of the front wall 1 is folded down inside the folding box. The roll is now put back into the folding box, after which the lid 4 can be closed again. The closed position of the cover 4 is thereby ensured that the part of the closure tab 5 which has remained connected to the cover 4 behind the retaining tabs 11 of the front wall 1 ge is inserted, as is clearly shown in Figure 5 and also in Figure 6.

After the upper part 9 of the front wall 1 has been folded over into the interior of the folding box and the lid 4 has been closed, a removal opening 12 is formed, the contour of which corresponds to the tear strip 8. In the central area of the removal opening 12, a tear-off tab 13 is formed which has two layers, since in this area the front wall 1 and the closure tab 5 are glued together.

The plastic bags 14 wound into a roll are, as can also be seen particularly clearly in FIG. 6, provided with a perforation 15 and a central catch slot 16 transversely to the unrolling direction, which lies over the tear-off tab 13 when a plastic bag 14 is pulled off the roll and out of the Folding box should be removed. In this secured position, it is easy to separate the respective front plastic bag 14 from the roll along the perforation 15.

As can be seen very clearly from FIG. 7, the upper part 9 of the front wall 1 folded down into the inside of the folding box provides good guidance for the roll from which the plastic bags 14 are to be pulled off.

As can be seen very clearly from FIG. 7, the upper part 9 of the front wall 1, which is folded down inside the folding box, is larger than the remaining lower area of the front wall 1, so that the upper part 9 of the front wall 1 folded down inside the folding box supported at a certain inclination on the floor 2.

Advantageously, the folded edge 10, along which the upper part 9 of the front wall 1 can be folded down, is arranged somewhat higher than the lower edge of the tear strip 8. This simplifies the threading of the tear-off tab 13 into the catch slot 16 of the plastic bag 14.
