Description

The invention relates to a seal for a threshold-free door with a rotating leaf, in which sealing strips are arranged on the door leaf in the region of the vertical and the upper horizontal closing edges, which lie directly adjacent to one another in one plane and interact with vertical stop surfaces arranged on the door frame and which act to seal of the lower horizontal door gap has a lowerable seal which has a lowering part arranged at the lower end of the door leaf and movable in the vertical direction, and a sealing strip designed as a flap seal and arranged along the lower horizontal edge of the door leaf, one edge of which is attached to the lowering part and the other other edge is connected to the door leaf in such a way that when the lowering part is lowered, the sealing strip rests on the floor with part of its sealing surface and the outer regions of its sealing surface directly touch the sealing surfaces of the sen Connect the right sealing strip, whereby a trigger part that can be moved in the horizontal direction is arranged parallel to the lowering part on the door leaf, which is connected to the lowering part via a triggering mechanism and has an inclined surface that interacts with the door frame on at least one end protruding from the one vertical side edge of the door leaf.

Such a seal is described for example in DE-A 2 352 873.

Dadurch ist die Anwendbarkeit der Dichtung in nachteiliger Weise beschränktSince it is desirable to achieve a particularly good seal that the vertical sealing surfaces of all four sealing strips lie in one plane, the lowering part is arranged in front of the lower horizontal sealing strip in the known seal in the closing direction of the door leaf and that is immediately in front of the lowering part Tripping part arranged. Lowering part and release part are therefore arranged on the same side of the plane in which the sealing surfaces are located. As a result, the door leaf must have a double rebate for constructional reasons, the lowering device being located between the two rebates. This disadvantageously limits the applicability of the seal

The object on which the invention was based was to improve a seal of the type described above in such a way that a double rebate is not necessary on the door leaf, thereby making a relatively narrow design of the door leaf and possible subsequent installation of the seal in an existing door leaf possible.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the lowering part and the triggering part are arranged on both sides of the vertical plane in which the vertical sealing surfaces of the sealing strips are located, the lowering part being arranged in front of this level and the triggering part behind this level when viewed in the closing direction of the door.

Vorteilhafte Ausführungsformen der erfindungsgemässen Dichtung sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche.Advantageous embodiments of the seal according to the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

The seal according to the invention has the great advantage that it can be used with any design of the door leaf and can be arranged so cheaply in terms of its space utilization that the standards existing for the thickness of door leaves can also be easily complied with. Furthermore, existing door leaves can also be retrofitted with the seal according to the invention, so that the excellent sealing results of this seal can be used to a very large extent. Tests have shown that the seal according to the invention not only provides excellent thermal insulation, but also very good sound insulation.

An exemplary embodiment of the seal according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing.
  • 1 and 2 show in vertical section a lowerable seal which can be attached to the underside of a door leaf in two different fastening points of the sealing strip.
  • Fig. Shows in vertical section a part of a door leaf with a seal according to the invention in the region of the door frame.
  • 4 shows a perspective view of the lower part of a door leaf with a device according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • 1 shows a detail of the device according to FIGS. 1 and 2.

Es sind in verschiedenen Höhen über dem Fussboden 12 einige der Rastnocken 1a angeordnet, so dass der obere Rand 4a des Dichtungsstreifens 4 in verschiedenen Höhen über dem Fussboden 12 fixiert werden kann.1 and 2, a lowerable seal is shown, which can be arranged on the underside, for example in a groove of a door leaf. The individual elements of the lowerable seal are arranged within a housing 1, which is divided by partitions into three chambers 5, 6, 7, which are open at the bottom, the chamber 7 being able to be closed off by a cover profile 8. In the chamber 6 there is a lowering part 2 designed as a bar, which can be displaced in the vertical direction within the chamber. At the lower end of the lowering part 2, one edge 4b of a flap-like sealing strip 4 is fastened, which is guided downwards into the chamber 5 and is attached in this chamber to the intermediate wall to the chamber 7 by its upper edge 4a in a manner, as can be seen from FIGS. 1, 2 and 5. For this fastening, locking cams 1 a are arranged on the intermediate wall between the chambers 5 and 6 of the housing 1 and engage in a locking groove 4 c on the upper edge 4 a of the sealing strip 4. Some of the locking cams 1a are arranged at different heights above the floor 12, so that the upper edge 4a of the sealing strip 4 can be fixed at different heights above the floor 12.

Arranged in the chamber 7 is a trigger part 3 which can be displaced in the horizontal direction and which is connected to the lowering part 2 by means of a trigger mechanism (not shown in more detail).

Such trigger mechanisms are known per se and are not described further below.

When the trigger part 3 is moved in a horizontal direction, the lowering part 2 moves downward, the sealing strip 4 pressing against the floor 12 in the manner shown in dashed lines and thus sealing the lower horizontal gap between the door leaf and the floor.

In Fig. The distance between the floor 12 and the lower edge of the housing Z is. The upper edge 4a of the sealing strip is fastened in the housing 1 by means of the uppermost one of the cams 1a. 2, the distance between the floor 12 and the lower edge of the housing 1 has increased by the distance “X”. For this reason, the upper edge 4a of the sealing strip 4 is now fastened with the aid of a lower cam 1a in order to compensate for this difference in height and to ensure that the sealing strip 4 lies securely on the floor 12 with the lowering part 2 lowered.

Aus den Fig. 3 und 4 ist ersichtlich, wie die in den Fig. 1 und 2 dargestellte, den unteren waagrechten Spalt zwischen Türflügel und Fussboden abdichtende Dichtung mit den anderen Dichtungen des Türflügels zusammenwirkt.3 and 4 it can be seen how the seal shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, which seals the lower horizontal gap between the door leaf and the floor, interacts with the other seals of the door leaf.

The door leaf 11 has a door leaf cover 11a through which the fold of the door is formed. A circumferential sealing strip 9 is arranged on the two vertical stop surfaces and the upper horizontal stop surface of the door leaf cover 11a. When the door is closed (see FIG. 3), the sealing strip 9 lies against a stop surface 10a of the door frame 10. As shown in FIG. 3, a further seal 10b can also be provided in the door frame 10, against which the inside of the door leaf 11 bears when the door is closed.

The housing 1 is let into the door wing 11 on the underside, in such a way that the outer regions of the upwardly directed edge 4a of the sealing strip 4 directly adjoin the sealing surfaces of the sealing strips 9 without a crack. As can be seen, this has the consequence that the lowering part 2, seen in the closing direction S of the door leaf 11, lies in front of and the release part 3 lies behind a plane E in which the sealing surfaces of the sealing strips 9 and the part of the sealing strip 4 which is led upwards are arranged are.

When the door is closed, the release part 3 provided with an inclined surface at its end protruding from the door leaf 11 is displaced by the door frame 10 into a position (to the right in FIG. 3) in which the lowering part is displaced downwards and thus the sealing strip 4 sits on the floor 12 (see FIGS. 1 and 2). In this position, the door leaf 11 is sealed off from the door frame 10 and the floor 12 by a circumferential seal, all the vertical sealing surfaces lying in one plane and the lateral seal directly merging with the seal opposite the floor 12.
