Description

Heavy-duty gearboxes
The invention relates to a heavy-duty gearbox according to the preamble of claim 1. Document DE 10013097 discloses such a gearbox.
Heavy-duty gearboxes, which are also called industrial gearboxes, are employed in a wide range of applications, for example as individually produced special gearboxes for plants for steel production and steel processing, for cement mills and coal mills, in the rubber industry and plastics industry, for transport systems and conveyor systems and for power generation plants. Heavy-duty gearboxes typically transmit torques of at least 10 kNm, in particular of at least 50 kNm. Heavy-duty gearboxes known from practice comprise a gear unit and an oil supply device. The gear unit of the heavy-duty gearbox comprises a stator-side housing, a rotor-side input shaft that can be driven by a drive motor and a rotor-side output shaft, wherein a unit to be driven can be driven via the rotor-side output shaft. In the case of cement mills and coals mills the driveable unit is a milling bowl, into which stator-side milling heads project. The oil supply device of such a heavy-duty gearbox comprises a low-pressure part and a high-pressure part, wherein the low-pressure part serves for the provision of a low-pressure oil supply and the high-pressure part for the provision of a high-pressure oil supply for assemblies of the heavy-duty gearbox to be lubricated and cooled. Here, the low-pressure part and the high-pressure part of the oil supply device according to practice form a unit, which is jointly positioned with a defined distance from the gear unit. Accordingly, relatively long low-pressure lines have to be installed on the one hand from the oil supply device to the gear unit and on the other hand relatively long high-pressure lines for oil. In particular the high-pressure lines however are sensitive, elaborate and expensive.
Starting out from this, the present invention is based on the object of creating a new type of heavy-duty gearbox.
This object is solved through a heavy-duty gearbox according to Claim 1.
According to the invention, the low-pressure part of the oil supply device and the high-pressure part of the oil supply device are spatially separated from one another in such a manner that the high-pressure part of the oil supply device is arranged in the immediate vicinity of the gear unit and the low-pressure part of the oil supply device is arranged spaced from the gear unit, such that the high-pressure part is closer to the gear unit than the low-pressure part.
With the present invention it is proposed for the first time in the oil supply device of a heavy-duty gearbox to spatially separate the high-pressure part and the low-pressure part of the oil supply device from one another, namely in such a manner that the high-pressure part of the oil supply device is positioned in the immediate vicinity of the gear unit of the heavy-duty gearbox. Because of this, high-pressure lines, which run from the high-pressure part of the oil supply device to the gear unit can be embodied short. Because of this, a heavy-duty gearbox can be embodied more cost-effectively.
According to an advantageous further development, the high-pressure part of the oil supply device is mounted on a separate bearing support. According to an alternative advantageous further development, the high-pressure part of the oil supply device is mounted on the stator-side housing of the gear unit. With both advantageous further developments, a functionally appropriate arrangement and mounting of the high-pressure part of the oil supply device in the immediate vicinity of the gear unit is possible. In particular when the high-pressure part is mounted on the stator-side housing of the gear unit can a separate machine foundation for the high-pressure part of the oil supply device be omitted. Furthermore, installation space advantages can be realised because of this.
Preferentially, the gear unit comprises a rotor-side connecting flange driven by the output shaft for receiving the unit to be driven, wherein the unit to be driven can be mounted at the top on the connecting flange, and wherein the output shaft runs in vertical direction in order to drive the connecting flange and thus the unit to be driven which is mountable on the connecting flange about a vertical axis of rotation. The high-pressure part of the oil supply device supplies axial bearings of the gear unit for the hydrostatic lubrication and cooling with oil, in order to lift the connecting flange together with the unit to be driven which is mounted on said connecting flange off axial bearing blocks via a hydrostatic lubricating oil film even in the stationary state. With a gear unit of a heavy-duty gearbox configured in such a manner the invention can be employed in a particularly advantageous manner.
A mill, in particular a cement mill or a coal mill with such a heavy-duty gearbox is defined in claim 7.
Preferred further developments of the invention are obtained from the subclaims and the following description. Exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail with the help of the drawing without being restricted to this. There it shows:
Fig. 1: a first heavy-duty gearbox according to the invention in lateral view;
Fig. 2: the heavy-duty gearbox of Fig. 1 in top view;
Fig. 3: a second heavy-duty gearbox according to the invention in lateral view; and
Fig. 4: the heavy-duty gearbox of Fig. 3 in top view.
The present invention relates to a heavy-duty gearbox with a gear unit and an oil supply device. The heavy-duty gearbox according the invention is employed in particular in cement mills or coal mills. In the following, the invention is described for this preferred application of the heavy-duty gearbox making reference to Fig. 1 to 4.
However, the invention is not restricted to this application, the heavy-duty gearbox can in fact be used also in other applications.
Fig. 1 and 2 show a heavy-duty gearbox 1 for use in connection with a cement mill or a coal mill, wherein the heavy-duty gearbox 1 comprises a gear unit 2 and an oil supply device 3.
The gear unit 2 comprises a stator-side housing 4, a rotor-side input shaft 5 that can be driven by a drive motor which is not shown and an output shaft which is not visible in Fig. 1, which in the exemplary embodiment of Fig. 1 drives a connecting flange 6 for a unit to be driven which is not shown in Fig. 1. The unit to be driven, which can be connected to the connecting flange, is a rotor-side milling bowl in the case of a cement mill or coal mill, into which stator-side milling heads project during operation. Accordingly, in the case of the gear unit shown in Fig. 1, the input shaft 5 runs in horizontal direction and the output shaft in vertical direction in order to drive the connecting flange 6 and thus the unit to be driven which is mounted on the connecting flange 6 about a vertical axis of rotation.
The unit to be driven, in the case of a cement mill or coal mill is accordingly mounted in Fig. 1 on the connecting flange 6, wherein the weight of the milling bowl together with the weight of the good to be ground which is positioned in the milling bowl has to be absorbed by the gear unit 4 in axial direction of the output shaft.
The oil supply device 3 serves for the supply of the gear unit 2 with oil, wherein with the help of the oil lubrication duties and cooling duties are assumed.
The oil supply device 3 comprises a low-pressure part 7 and a high-pressure part 8.
The low-pressure part 7 of the oil supply device 3 serves for providing a hydrodynamically acting low-pressure oil supply for assemblies of the gear unit 2 of the heavy duty gearbox 1 to be lubricated and cooled. Accordingly, a lubricating film only forms on affected assemblies of the gear unit 2 during the operation as a result of hydrodynamic effects.
The high-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 by contrast serves for providing a hydrostatically acting high-pressure oil supply for assemblies of the gear unit 2 of the heavy-duty gearbox 1 to be lubricated and cooled, so that accordingly a lubricating film is already formed in the stationary state of the affected assemblies of the gear unit 2 between the rotor-side assemblies and stator-side assemblies.
In the heavy-duty gearbox unit 1 shown in Fig. 1,2 the connecting flange 6 together with the unit to be driven which is mounted on the connecting flange 6 can be lifted off axial bearing blocks of the gear unit 2 in the stationary state, so that accordingly in the stationary state of the connecting flange 6 and of the unit to be driven a hydrostatic lubricating oil film between the axial bearing blocks and the connecting flange 6 is established.
In terms of the present invention, the low-pressure part 7 of the oil supply device 3 and the high-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 are spatially separated from one another, namely in such a manner that the high-pressure part 8 is positioned in the immediate vicinity of the gear unit 2, whereas the low-pressure part 7 of the oil supply device 3 is arranged spaced from the gear unit 2.
The spatial separation of the high-pressure part 7 and of the low-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 is evident from Fig. 1,2. Starting out from the low-pressure part 7, a low-pressure advance line 9 on the one hand and a low-pressure return line 10 leads to the gear unit 2. Starting out from the low-pressure advance line 9, defined assemblies of the gear unit 2 can be directly supplied with oil, namely in terms of the hydrodynamic low-pressure oil supply. From the low-pressure advance line 9, at least one feed line 11 branches off to the high-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 in order to further compress the oil in the high-pressure unit 8 and to feed said oil via high-pressure lines 12 to other assemblies of the gear unit 2, in particular two axial bearings of the latter.
Owing to the fact that the high-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 is positioned in the immediate vicinity of the gear unit 2 of the heavy-duty gearbox 1, the high-pressure lines 12 can be embodied very short. Compared with the prior art, in which the high-pressure part and the low-pressure part of the oil supply device are arranged with identical spacing from the gear unit 2 of the heavy-duty gearbox, these sensitive and expensive high-pressure lines 12 accordingly have a significantly shorter length, so that cost advantages can be realised.
In the exemplary embodiment of Fig. 1 and 2, the high-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 is mounted on a separate bearing support 13, so that the weight of the high-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 is consequently absorbed by a separate foundation.
Compared with this, Fig. 3, 4 show a configuration of the invention, in which the high-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 is mounted on the stator-side housing 4 of the gear unit 2, so that the weight of the high-pressure part 8 together with the weight of the gear unit 2 is consequently absorbed by the machine foundation 14 of the gear unit 2.
Mounting the high-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 on the stator-side housing 4 of the gear unit 2 is carried out via a mounting structure which is not shown in detail, which acts on the stator-side housing 4 of the gear unit 2. In particular when the high-pressure part 8 is mounted on the stator-side housing 4 of the gear unit 2, a separate machine foundation for the high-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 can be omitted. Furthermore, installation space advantages can be realised through this. In addition to this, the length of the high-pressure lines 12 can be reduced to a minimum in this case. Assemblies of the high-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 such as for example high-pressure pumps 15 and the gear unit 2 are easily accessible.
Accordingly, a heavy-duty gearbox 1 is proposed with the invention, in which the high-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 is separated from the low-pressure part 7 of the oil supply device 3, namely in such a manner that the high-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 is positioned in the immediate vicinity of the gear unit 2 of the heavy-duty gearbox 1. High-pressure lines between the high-pressure part 8 of the oil supply device 3 and the gear unit 2 can therefore be embodied with minimal length.
