Alleinstehender Schaltschrank mit durchgehend geschlossenen, selbsttragenden Seitenwänden (1), die jeweils an ihrer Oberkante mit Querseiten eines Deckenrahmens (2) und jeweils an ihrer Unterkante mit Querseiten eines Bodenrahmens (3) verbunden sind, und einem an dem Deckenrahmen (2) mittels Befestigungslöchern (11) und Verbindungselementen (12) angebrachten Deckel (10), sowie einer Rückwand (9) und einer Tür (8), die an den Längsseiten der Seitenwände (1) und des Decken- und Bodenrahmens (2, 3) dichtend anliegen, wobei der Deckenrahmen (2) mit einer umlaufenden, zum Deckel (10) weisenden und ebenen Dichtfläche (14) versehen ist, und wobei im Bereich der Querseiten des Deckenrahmens (2) im wesentlichen horizontal in Richtung der jeweiligen Querseite verlaufende Randausnehmungen (13) zur im wesentlichen paßgenauen Aufnahme des Deckelrandes vorgesehen sind, und wobei ferner die Innenfläche des Deckels (10) unter Zwischenfügen einer ebenfalls umlaufenden Dichtung (21) auf der Dichtfläche (14) des Deckenrahmens (2) aufliegt und die Befestigungslöcher (11) zwischen der umlaufenden Dichtung (21) und dem Deckelrand angeordnet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Randausnehmung (13) von der Dichtfläche (14) getrennt ist und in den oberen Rand der Seitenwände (1) derart integriert ist, daß die Randausnehmung (13) sowohl nach oben als auch nach außen offen ist, wobei die Dichtfläche (14) durch eine ebene oberhalb der Randausnehmung (13) angeordnete Außenfläche des Deckenrahmens (2) gebildet ist, und daß der Deckel (10) an seinem Rand einen nach unten abstehenden, umlaufenden Kragen (22) aufweist, der die oberen Außenkanten der von oben in die von den Seitenwänden (1) gebildeten Randausnehmungen (13) derart eingreift, daß der Kragen (22) mit der übrigen Seitenwand (1) im wesentlichen fluchtet.1.
