Während der Fahrt mit einem geöffnetem Cabriolet, entwikkeln sich, geschwindigkeitsabhängig, starke Turbulenzen im Fahrgastraum. Diese Turbulenzen entstehen aufgrund des Unterdrucks, der sich hinter der Frontscheibe entwickelt und eine Sogwirkung hervorruft. Besonders bei längeren Fahrten mit geöffnetem Verdeck, oder bei Außentemperaturen unter 25 Grad Celsius, verursachen diese Turbulenzen Zug- und Ermüdungserscheinungen bei den Fahrgästen. Mit zunehmender Geschwindigkeit wird auch eine Unterhaltung im Fahrzeug fast unmöglich.When driving with an open convertible, strong turbulence develops in the passenger compartment, depending on the speed. Es ist nun gelungen, speziell für alle Cabriolets mit eingebautem überrollbügel, einen stoffbespannten Rahmen zu entwickeln, der am schon vorhandenen Überrollbügel derart befestigt wird, daß er sich an dessen Konturen anlegt und nur bis auf die Höhe der Frontsitze herunterreicht. Durch die Windundurchlässigkeit der Frontsitze entstehen im Fußbereich des Fahrzeugs keinerlei Turbulenzen. Der Zwischenraum zwischen den Sitzen wird ebenfalls durch den Stoff abgedeckt. Dadurch, daß der Rahmen unten offen ist, bestehen keinerlei Verletzungsgefahren für eventuelle Fondpassagiere, und die Fond-Sitzplätze können auch mit befestigtem Rahmen benutzt werden, da sich hinter den beiden Frontsitzen keinerlei Stoff befindet. Ein weiterer Vorteil der Erfindung liegt an der einfachen Befestigung des Rahmens, am Überrollbügel mittels Gurten und Haken. Der Rahmen ist mittig geteilt und mit einem Scharnier versehen, soda/? er sich nicht nur leicht an- und abbauen läßt, sondern im zusammengefalteten Zustand auch platzsparend transportiert werden kann.It has now been possible to develop a fabric-covered frame specifically for all convertibles with a built-in roll bar, which is attached to the existing roll bar in such a way that it follows its contours and only reaches down to the height of the front seats.
