Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Bewegungsfreiheit dadurch erreicht, daß man in Verbindung mit einem bekannten langen Federgehänge F (siehe Zeichnung) die Längsspiele α so groß macht, daß die Radsätze R in der Lage sind, sich den jeweiligen Laufkreisunterschieden entsprechend frei einzustellen, ohne daß also die Achslagerführungen im Drehgestellrahmen zur Anlage kommen. Dadurch kommt in geradem Gleis ungehindert die für überkritischen Lauf vier- und mehradhsiger Fahrzeuge notwendige hohe Erregerfrequenz der Radsätze zustande. Der bei fester Längsführung der Radsätze im Drehgestellrahmen zusätzlich entstehende Verschleiß an Radreifen, Schienen und Achslagergehäuseführungen wird außerdem vermieden.
