Siphon The invention relates to a siphon head, whose essence is that the end of the discharge passage is closed AbsP: errventil completes a cap provided with saw-toothing, said cap is connected in such a manner with the device for opening the valve, that when opening the cap the valve also opens.
The advantage of the invention is that the shut-off valve of the siphon head is completely protected against contamination, in contrast to the known siphon heads in which the shut-off valve is either completely free and exposed to any contamination or is arranged in a cap the opening of which the contamination can reach the shut-off valve unhindered. The accompanying drawing shows an example of an embodiment. the invention.
schlossenem Ventil;
Abb. 2 zeigt einen senkrechten Schnitt bei off enem Ventil.Fig. I is a vertical section in overall schlossenem valve; Fig. 2 shows a vertical section with the valve open.
3,
an
The drawing shows the siphon housing, in the interior of which the insert body 2 made of glass or porcelain and the outflow channel 4, which forms one piece with the same, are arranged. Inside this body is the valve space. 3, in which the outflow channel 4 münd-et. The insert body 2 rests on the mouth of the bottle 6 and is held in its position by the ring97 screwed into the lower part of the siphon housing i by the fact that the ring presses the bottle mouth 6 against the insert body and the latter against the wall of the siphon housing . The pin is at the diametrically opposite points of the Ringes7 down depending to an incision, provided that the ring is rotated with eüiern associated key and the siphon can be removed from the bottle.
aufliegendeDichtungsplatte i i aus Gummi gezogen ist.
In the valve chamber 3 there is a valve spindle io made of glass or porcelain, on the part of which protruding beyond the insert body a sealing plate ii made of rubber is drawn that rests on the insert body. The valve spindle io is held in its closed position by a spring 12 that is wound around its upper end, one end attached to the spindle and the other end supported on the sealing plate ii. The part of the siphon housing i receiving the outflow channel 4 is tubular, the mouth of which the protective cap 13 closes. This cap is attached to the siphon housing so as to be rotatable about the pin 14 and is held in the closed position by the spring 15. At the edge of the cap there are saw teeth which prevent the siphon housing or the outflow channel from being put into the mouth, and the cap is also provided with an extension 16 which is used for actuation. - In the interior of the siphon housing, a tongue 17 is attached to the wall of the siphon housing above the valve spindle 10 so that it can rotate around the pin 18. An actuating rod Ig is articulated to this tongue by means of the pin S20, the end of this rod being articulated to the cap 13 by means of the pin S21.
i geöffnet.
When the valve is closed (Fig. I), the cap 13 is also in the closed position, so that no impurities can get into the Ausflußkana14- The valve is opened by turning the extension 16 of the protective cap in the direction of the arrow in Fig. I. Here, the cap 13 opens around the pin 14 and rotate the same by means of the rod ig, the tongue 17 about the pin 1 8 downwards. The tongue rests on the upper end of the valve spindle and moves it downwards against the action of the spring, which in turn causes the valve to open (Fig. 2). If the pressure is released by hand on the extension 16 of the cap, the cap and the valve close automatically under the action of a spring.
