Cooking appliance with a base consisting of several sheet metal thicknesses. the
The invention relates to a cooking appliance with a sheet metal of several thicknesses
Soil and aims to ensure a good and even distribution of heat.
According to the invention, between a cover plate serving as a cooking surface
and a base spaced therefrom for absorbing heat, a heat distribution plate
arranged, which consists of a building material of higher thermal conductivity than the
other panels, e.g. B. made of copper. The heat distribution plate is perpendicular to each other
running directions wavy, creating air cells and proportionate
small areas of contact with the ceiling and the floor. The plate is from a
Enclosed housing, whereby an air chamber is formed on the circumference to radiate heat
the heat distribution plate beyond the edge of the pan. The heat distribution plate
results in better heat utilization than that of the known hollow floors and furthermore
a faster and more even distribution of the heat, which increases it even more
is that the heat distribution plate only with small, evenly spaced
arranged surface particles is in contact with the ground and the cover plate,
so that more heat is conducted away from the particularly strongly heated parts of the soil
and less heat is given off to the cover plate than when the plate is with its
whole area in contact with the floor and the ceiling.

namely a cooking or frying pan.

der Wärme zu zeigen.Fig. 2 represents a partial view and

vertical section through the pan, and Fig. 3 shows a view of the bottom
the pan with the bottom partially broken away, around the intermediate plate for distribution
to show the warmth.
The relatively strong base plate i preferably consists of

Heat distribution plate 3 made of a material that conducts heat well, preferably copper, is provided.
This plate is preferably double corrugated, i. H. plate 3- is in first
sent through a corrugator in one direction and then in one direction
perpendicular to it, so that the waves of the plate 3 run at right angles to each other,
whereby rows of cells are formed on each side of the plate 3. The plate
2, like the plate z, is largely flat, only the edge is bent upwards
and forms the annular wall q. the pan. The height of the wall or pan
depends on its purpose, e.g. B. a frying pan deeper than a cake pan
or a baking tray. The building material of the plate 2 is then outwards and downwards again
unbent so that it is in contact with the periphery of the plate i, extends
under this plate i and is flanged around itself at 5 to form a seat
for -to form the edge of the plate i. This creates an annular chamber
6, which surrounds the heat distribution plate 3. This annular chamber
6 helps in the distribution of heat and further contributes to heat radiation
to prevent it from going over the edge of the pan. The plate i is preferably at
7 perforated to allow air to enter and exit the chamber 6 depending on the changing
Allow temperature. Since the plate 3 is an excellent conductor of heat, = becomes

the base plate sits directly on the heat source and, indifferently, on top of it
Part of the soil i the heat acts to a greater extent has been shown by experiments,
that a uniform distribution of the heat on the plate 2 takes place. Thermometer samples
have shown that all parts of the flat surface of the plate 2 have approximately the same temperature

as another part. One attempt passed e.g. in it, the pan with one end

The plate i serves on the one hand to collect heat and on the other hand
to protect the plate 3 against the direct action of the flame, and the plates
i and 3 serve to protect the plate 2 against excessive heat, so that
the plate 2. can be made of aluminum without the risk of being thrown.
