Dem Steigrohr 3 in einem Abstand gegenüber­ liegend endet eine als Sandstrahlrohr dienende und im Flansch 4 angeordnete Bohrung 5, die an einen Kompressor angeschlossen ist. Durch Bohrungen 6 und 7 und Ausfräsungen 8 und 9, die vom Sandbehälter 1a abgedeckt sind, wird ein Kanal 10 gebildet, der die Bohrung 5 unter Umgehung des Steigrohrs 3 mit dem Fallrohr 2 verbindet, wobei zur Überbrückung des Steigrohrs 3 in die Bohrung 7 ein bis in das Fallrohr 2 reichendes Rohr 11 eingesetzt ist, so daß die Luft aus dem Rohr 11 den Durchfluß des Sandes im Fallrohr 2 beschleunigt, die auszutretende Sand­ menge jedoch nicht beeinflußt. In einen Krümmer 12 des Kanals 10 greift eine den Querschnitt und damit dem Luftstrom ändernde Schraube 13 ein.
