Abstract

The carton is made from a flat blank, in which the four sides are linked into the rectangular shape via a single adhesive tag (60). The front of the carton has a stamped-out hinged flap (24), with a backing strip (38), joined to one of the bottom forming flaps (72) by a tear line (78). The backing strip is glued to the back of the hinged flap and has side segments (28, 30) which form the sides of the hinged flap and which limit the flap opening.
