Abstract

1. Circuit-breaker with a contact point which is formed by a moving and a fixed contact member (13, 14) attached on a contact lever (11), with a latching mechanism with a trip lever (27) for the unlatching of a latching point located in the latching mechanism, with a manual operation lever (19) and with a position indicating device which can be operated by the moving contact lever (11), characterized in that the switchgear has in the region of the manual operation lever (19) a stationary guide element (20; 50), on which are slideably arranged a first slider (26; 73) interacting with the trip lever (27), and a second slider (33, 35; 70), coupled to the moving contact lever (11) and thus indicating its position, and a manually operable rotary part (21), which acts on the first slider (26; 73) and, when turned, pushes the first slider (26; 73) against the trip lever (27) and holds it via the first slider (26; 73) in its trip position to achieve a lock-out preventing closing and, after turning back into the initial position, releases the first slider (26; 73) and thus the trip lever (27).
