Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Trennschweißen von Kunststoffolien mit einem die Folie auf
eine Unterlage pressenden und auf dieser haltenden Niederhalter und einem beheizten Schweißstempel, wobei
der Niederhalter aus einem hitzebeständigen, das Ankleben der Folien verhindernden Material besteht
Derartige Trennschweißvorrichtungen, die vorzugsweise
zum Einschweißen von zu verpackendem Gut in Folien verwendet werden, sind hinreichend bekannt
Sie bestehen im allgemeinen aus einem dauerbeheizten Schweißstempel mit einem Schweißmesser oder einem
Stempel mit einem impulsbeheizten Trenndraht und aus einem Folienniederhalter aus Stahlblech mit
oder ohne Kühleinrichtung.
Der Folienniederhalter hat dabei die Aufgabe, die zu verschweißenden Kunststoffolien plan und ohne Falten
beim Beginn des Schweißvorganges auf eine Unterlage, einen Gegenstempel, zu pressen, die Folie zu halten,
während das Schweißmesser des Schweißstempels die Folien trennschweißt, sowie die Folie noch kurze Zeit
nach dem Abheben des Schweißmessers bis zum Erkalten der Nähte zu halten, damit eine haltbare Schweißnaht
erzielt wird.
Besteht bei einem dauerbeheizten Schweißstempel der Niederhalter aus Stahlblech ohne eine Kühleinrichtung,
so heizt sich dieser Niederhalter nach kurzer Zeit so auf, daß er die vorstehend beschriebene Funktion
nicht mehr erfüllen kann. Die Folie wird durch den Niederhalter in einen plastischen Zustand versetzt, so daß
mittels des Schweißmessers keine einwandfreie Schweißnaht mehr erreichbar ist Bei höheren einzuschweißenden
Produkten klebt die Folie während der Stempelschließbewegung sogar an den Niederhalterblechen
an und schmilzt. Dadurch verschmutzen der Schweißstempel und der Niederhalter sehr schnell, so
daß schon in kurzen Zeitabständen eine Reinigung notwendig wird. Eine einwandfreie Folienverpackung wird
dabei überhaupt nicht erreicht.
Derartige Niederhalter sind deshalb für dauerbeheizte Schweißstempel ungeeignet. Sie lassen sich allenfalls
für einen Stempel mit einem impulsbeheizten Trenndraht verwenden, der mit geringen Taktzahlen arbeitet.
Ein solcher wäre für einen kontinuierlichen Betrieb natürlich nicht geeignet.
Für den Betrieb von kontinuierlich arbeitenden Folienschweißmaschinen
mit hoher Taktleistung wird deshalb der Niederhalter des Schweißstempels mittels
Wasser, Emulsion oder Luft gekühlt.
Bedingt durch die dafür erforderlichen Kühlleitungen weist ein derartiger Niederhalter verhältnismäßig große
Abmessungen in seiner Breite auf. Das bedeutet, daß zwischen den in der Folie aufgereihten Produkten größere
Lücken gehalten werden müssen. Das hat wiederum zur Folge, daß die eingeschweißten Produkte einen
unerwünscht großen Folienbeutel erhalten. Beim anschließenden Schrumpfen wird keine gute Qualität der
Verpackung erreicht, da der zu große Folienüberstand nicht restlos wegschrumpft, sondern sich in Falten über
das Produkt legt Neben dieser optisch unschönen Verpackung erweist sich natürlich besonders der Mehrverbrauch
an Folienmaterial als nachteilig. Weiterhin hat der gekühlte Niederhalter den Nachteil, daß er dem
Schweißstempel einen Teil der ihm zugeführten Wärmeenergie entzieht, was zu einem erhöhten Energiebedarf
führt Außerdem wird die Folie durch die auf sie auftreffenden starren Bleche des Niederhalters nicht gespannt,
sondern nur geheIten. Trennt anschließend das
Schweißmesser des Schweißstempels die Folien durch, so werden die Schweißnähte auf den Gegenstempel gedrückt
und kleben dort sehr leicht an. Wird nun ein sehr leichtes Produkt verpackt, so kann es vorkommen, daß
das Eigengewicht des Produktes nicht ausreicht, um bei seinem Abtransport die festgeklebte Folie vom Gegenstempel
zu lösen, was zu Störungen führt
Durch die DE-OS 27 52 176 ist ein Folienschweißgerät der eingangs genannten Art bekannt geworden, bei dem der Niederhalter aus Polytetrafluoräthyien, also einem bereits das Ankleben der Folie am Niederhalter vermeidenden Material besteht Dieser Niederhalter ist so ausgebildet, daß er vorrangig das Einwirken der vom Schweißstempel entwickelten Wärme auf das zu verpackende Gut abschirmen kann. Aber auch dieser Niederhalter ist nicht dazu geeignet, um die Folie auf der Unterlage im Trennschweißbereich gespannt zu halten, so daß auch hiermit die bereits geschilderten diesbezügliehen Mängel nicht beseitigt sind.
Durch die DE-OS 27 52 176 ist ein Folienschweißgerät der eingangs genannten Art bekannt geworden, bei dem der Niederhalter aus Polytetrafluoräthyien, also einem bereits das Ankleben der Folie am Niederhalter vermeidenden Material besteht Dieser Niederhalter ist so ausgebildet, daß er vorrangig das Einwirken der vom Schweißstempel entwickelten Wärme auf das zu verpackende Gut abschirmen kann. Aber auch dieser Niederhalter ist nicht dazu geeignet, um die Folie auf der Unterlage im Trennschweißbereich gespannt zu halten, so daß auch hiermit die bereits geschilderten diesbezügliehen Mängel nicht beseitigt sind.
Der Erfindung liegt somit die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Vorrichtung der eingangs genannten Art so weiterzubilden,
daß beim Trennschweißen die Folien im Trennschweißbereich gespannt gehalten werden.
Erfindungsgemäß wird das dadurch erreicht, daß der Niederhalter an seinen Halteflächen Schrägen mit nach
außen gerichteten federnden Kanten aufweist. Durch die an den Halteflächen des Niederhalters angebrachten
Schrägen wird die Folie beim Auftreffen auf den Gegenstempel glatt gespannt. Nach dem Trennschweißen werden
die beiden getrennten und mit einer Schweißnaht versehenen Folien durch die federartig nach außen wirkenden
Schrägen vom Schweißmesser gelöst, so daß die Schweißnähte sofort erkalten können und somit nicht
mehr am Gegenstempel ankleben. Somit sind auch diesbezügliche Störungen ausgeschlossen.
Die Erfindung soll nachstehend anhand eines Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert werden.

An einem Träger 1 (Fig. 1), der sich über eine bestimmte Länge erstreckt, ist ein sich etwa über dieselbe Länge wie der Träger 1 erstreckendes Trennschweißwerkzeug 2 mittels mehrerer in Abständen angeordneter Stangen 3 gehalten, von denen in dem in Fig. 1 dargestellten Abschnitt nur eine ersichtlich ist.

An einem Träger 1 (Fig. 1), der sich über eine bestimmte Länge erstreckt, ist ein sich etwa über dieselbe Länge wie der Träger 1 erstreckendes Trennschweißwerkzeug 2 mittels mehrerer in Abständen angeordneter Stangen 3 gehalten, von denen in dem in Fig. 1 dargestellten Abschnitt nur eine ersichtlich ist.
Auf und unter dem Träger 1 sind Teile 4 bzw. 6 vorgesehen, die mit dem Träger 1 durch durchgehende
Schraubenbolzen 5a, 5b verbunden sind.
Die Stange 3 ist durch das untere Teil 6, durch den
Träger 1 und durch das obere Teil 4 hindurchgeführt und mittels einer in das obere Ende der Stange 3 zentral
eingeschraubten Schraube 7 gegen die Innenseite des Kopfteiles 8 des oberen Teiles 4 verschraabt Auf der
Stange 3 befindet sich eine Druckfeder 9, die sich einerseits über eine Scheibe 11 gegen das untere Teil 6 und
andererseits gegen eine an der Stange 3 festliegende Scheibe 12 abstützt (F i g. 2).
Das Trennschweißwerkzeug 2 besteht aus einem Schweißstempel 13 und einem Niederhalter 14. Der
Schweißstempel 13 ist am Gewindeteil 3a der Stangen 3 befestigt und trägt ein an diesem mit Schrauben 16 befestigtes
Schweißmesser 17.
Der Schweißstempel 13 ist mit einer Heizpatrone 18 sowie mit einem Temperaturfühler 10 versehen. Der
Niederhalter 14 ist mit dem Schweißstempel 13, zu diesem eine vertikale Relativbewegung gewährleistend,
vei bunden. Dies geschieht durch mittels Druckfedern 15
abgestützte Schraubbolzen 20 (F i g. 1 und S). Der Niederhalter
14 besteht aus Niederhalterblechen 14a, t4b, die sich beiderseits des Schweißstempels 13 mit
Schweißmesser 17 befinden. Bei der Ansicht nach F i g. 1 ist das vordere Niederhalterblech 146 entfernt. Die Niederhalterbleche
14a, 146 sind mit einer Silikonbeschichtung 19a, 196 versehen. Diese Silikonbeschichtung weist
am unteren Ende der Niederhalterbleche 14a, 146 Schrägen 21 a, 21 6 auf, die nach außen gerichtete federnde
Kanten 22a, 226 bilden.
Beim Durchführen einer Trennschweißung wird durch Absenken des geführten Trägers 1 zunächst, wie
aus F i g. 2 ersichtlich ist, durch den Niederhalter 14 mit seinen Niederhalterblechen 14a, 146 die obere Kunststoffolienbahn
23 auf die untere Kunststoffolienbahn 24 gegen einen Gegenstempel 26 gepreßt, wobei die nach
außen gerichteten federnden Kanten 22a, 226 die Folie zwischen sich faltenfrei spannen.
Beim weiteren Absenken des Trägers 1 bewegt sich dann der Schweißstempel 13 mit seinem Schweißmesser
17 gegen die Kraft der Druckfedern 15 relativ zum Niederhalter 14 auf die Folie zu, durchtrennt diese und
verschweißt sie an beiden Kanten.
Dabei bewirken die Kanten 22a, 22b der Silikonbeschichtung 19a, 196 der Niederhalterbleche 14a, 146 mit
ihren nach außen wirkenden Komponenten ein Lösen der getrennten und mit einer Schweißnaht versehenen
Folien vom Schweißmesser 17, so daß die Schweißnähte sofort erkalten können. Auch bei einer großen Höhe der
zu verpackenden Produkte 27 und bei kleinen Lücken zwischen den aufgereihten Produkten 27 ist infolge der
Silikonbeschichtung ein Ankleben der Folie an den Niederhalterblechen
14a, 146 ausgeschlossen.
Beim Aufwärtsbewegen des Trägers 1 mit dem Trennschweißwerkzeug 2 geht der Schweißstempe! 13
mit seinem Schweißmesser 17 in seine Ausgangslage zurück, in der er an einem mit Dämpfungsmaterial 25
belegten Anschlag 28 des Niederhalters 14 anliegt (Fig. 1).

Claims (1)
- Patentanspruch:Vorrichtung zum Trennschweißen von Kunststoffolien mit einem die Folie auf eine Unterlage pressenden und auf dieser haltenden Niederhalter und einem beheizten Schweißstempel, wobei der Niederhalter aus einem hitzebeständigen, das Ankleben der Folien verhindernden Material besteht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Niederhalter (14) an seinen Halteflächen Schrägen (21a, 21 ύ) mit nach außen gerichteten federnden Kanten (22a, 22b) aufweist
