Die Erfindung betrifft Drehgestelle für Eisenbahnwagen, bei denen die Seitenrahmen mit zylindrischen Öffnungen versehen sind, in denen die drehzapfenartigen Enden des Querrahmens gelagert sind, so daß die Seitenrahmen um den Querrahmen schwingen können. Bei dem Drehgestell gemäß der Erfindung sind die Achsbuchsen kugelförmig gestaltet, und sie werden durch zwei außen mit Gewinde versehene, halbkugelförmig ausgedrehte Ringe so in den Seitenrahmen gehalten, daß sich die Achsbuchsen frei in allen Richtungen drehen können, wodurch die unabhängige Bewegung jedes Rades erzielt und dadurch die Abnutzung der in den Achsbuchsen gelagerten Achszapfen auf ein sehr geringes Maß vermindert wird.
