    Patentansprüche
    1. Wärmeschrumpfbare Folie, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie aus einer Folie (1) aus geschäumtem thermoplastischem Kunststoff besteht und daß mindestens eine ihrer Seiten eine konvex-konkave Oberfläche (A) mit konvexen und konkaven (4) Bereichen aufweist, die durch geöffnete oder zusammengebrochene Zellen oder durch geöffnete und zusammengebrochene Zellen der Schaumfolie gebildet sind.
  2. 2. Wärmeschrumpfbare Folie nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die konvex-konkave, geschäumte
    2 Oberfläche zwei oder mehr konkave Bereiche pro mm der Oberfläche aufweist und daß die durchschnittliche Länge und Breite der konkaven Bereiche 50 ym oder mehr beträgt.
  3. 3. Wärmeschrumpfbare Folie nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die durch offene Zellen (3)

    gebildeten konkaven Bereiche erhabene Ränder (4a)
    um die Öffnung herum aufweisen.
  4. 4. Wärmcschrumpfbare Folie nach einem der Ansprüche
    1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die durchschnittliche Anzahl von Zellen in der Dickenrichtung der
    Folie 3 bis 15 beträgt.
  5. 5. Wärmeschrumpfbare Folie nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Folie eine Dicke von 80 bis 200 ym besitzt.
  6. 6. Wärmeschrumpfbare Folie nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie einen Wärmeschrumpffaktor, von 3 5% oder mehr in einer Richtung und einen Wärmeschrumpffaktor von 10% oder weniger
    in einer zu der genannten einen Richtung senkrechten Richtung besitzt.
  7. 7. Wärmeschrumpfbare Folie nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die konkaven
    Bereiche der konvex-konkaven,, geschäumten Oberfläche nicht miteinander in Verbindung stehen.
  8. 8. Wärmeschrumpfbare Folie nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7,, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der geschäumte thermoplastische Kunststoff ausgewählt ist aus
    Polystyrol, Polyäthylen und Polypropylen.
  9. 9. Wärmeschrumpfbare Folie nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie zusätzlich einen ungeschäumten Film aufweist, der mit der Schaumfolie aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff auf der der
    die konvex-konkave Oberfläche aufweisenden Seite
    gegenüberliegenden Seite laminiert ist.
  10. 10. Behälter aus einem starren Substrat und einer mindestens einen Teil der äußeren Oberfläche des Substrats eng anliegend berührenden, aus einer wärmeschrumpf baren Folie gebildeten, in der Wärme geschrumpften Folie aus geschäumtem thermoplastischem Kunststoff, bei der die mit dem starren Substrat in Kontakt befindliche Sei Le eine konvex-konkave Oberfläche aufweist, die aus offenen und/oder zusammengebrochenen Zellen der Schaumfolie aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff gebildet ist.
