Defrosting method and arrangement therefor in the case of an inert gas working Absorption chiller.
The invention relates to a method for defrosting an evaporator part in an absorption refrigerator operating with inert gas and an arrangement for carrying out the inventive Procedure.
Die Leitung hat eine Flüssigkeitssperre, die gelegentlich entfernt wird«, Die Anordnung basiert auf der Voraussetzung, daß die normaleIn the cold room of a refrigerator, the air condenses on the coldest surfaces, that is, on the cooling elements and their surface-enlarging attachments. There, frost and ice are continuously formed, which leads to serious difficulties as the heat transfer capacity of the cooling element is reduced. Countless proposals for defrosting devices in absorption refrigerators have been made, but only a few such arrangements have proven to be suitable in practice for fulfilling the conditions set. In one known such solution, heat from the cooker system is supplied to an evaporator section through a direct steam line. The conduit has a liquid barrier which is occasionally removed. The arrangement is based on the premise that the normal

Steam line of the apparatus, which extends from the steam space of the digester system to the condenser of the apparatus, contains a liquid barrier through which steam passes during normal refrigeration, but not during defrosting periods when it is desired that the steam instead be passed through the direct line to the apparatus Evaporator part flows.
However, there are also absorption chillers with cooker systems that do not have a liquid barrier in the condenser the steam line leading to the apparatus. In such an apparatus, the above-mentioned defrosting method cannot be used without placing a liquid barrier in the ordinary steam line, however the properties of the cooker unit change too much as a result.
The object of the invention is to provide a solution to the defrosting problem in an absorption chiller with a cooker unit of the kind mentioned. To solve this problem, the inventive method consists in that liquid Working equipment collected in a liquid barrier above a first level and above a second level is caused to flow a gas in the gas circulation system to interrupt the apparatus until a third level is reached, whereupon the liquid barrier empties will.
Weiterhin besteht eine Anordnung in einem mit inertem Gas arbeitenden Absorptioriskalteapparat zur Durchführung des vorstehend gekennzeichneten Verfahrens erfindungsgemäß darin, daß das Gasumlaufsystem des Apparates eine mit einem flüssigen Arbeitsmittel arbeitende Sperreinrichtung enthält, in welcher ununterbrochen Flüssigkeit über einer ersten Standhöhe gesammelt wird, um das GasumlaufsystemFurthermore, there is an arrangement in an absorptioris cold apparatus working with inert gas for carrying out the characterized above method according to the invention in that the gas circulation system of the apparatus with a contains a liquid working fluid operating locking device, in which continuously liquid over a first level is collected to the gas circulation system

zu unterbrechen, wenn eine zweite Standhöhe erreicht ist, und die gesammelte Flüssigkeit zu einem anderen Apparateteil abzuleiten, wenn eine dritte Standhöhe erreicht ist.interrupted when a second level is reached, and the collected liquid to another part of the apparatus to be derived when a third standing height is reached.
Es zeigen:The invention is described in greater detail below in connection with several exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing explained. Show it:

Von dem Absorbergefäß wird die reiche Lösung durch eine Leitung 22 innerhalb des Flüssigkeitstemperaturwechslers zur Pumpe15 and on the other hand connected to a pump 16 in a thermally conductive manner is. The down through the absorber 20 flowing poor solution absorbs refrigerant from a mixture of inert gas and refrigerant-rich vapor, which flows upwards through the absorber. The refrigerant condensate is then passed through a condensate line 26 to the upper end 27 of the evaporator system.

In the operation of a refrigeration apparatus of the type explained above, which is arranged in a refrigerator, is continuous Frost on the high temperature evaporator 29 and its knock down the surface-enlarging approaches »According to the invention, this prostate is removed in the following manner.
Vom Dampfraum 39 des Kochers breitet sich eine Mischung aus Ammoniak- und WasserdampfIn the arrangement of FIG. 1, the line 32 opens for lean gas from absorber 20 to evaporator system 28 "29 in one leg 37 of a U-tube 36, the other Leg 38 with the steam chamber 39 of the cooker via a line 40 is connected «, the lower side 41 of the inner tube 33 of the evaporator system dips into the left leg 37 of the U-tube 36. langsam in dem U-Rohr 36 aus und kondensiert darin fortlaufend. During normal operation, lean gas flows through line 32 down into the left leg 37 and into the lower end 41 of the inner tube 33, from here to flow through the evaporator system and to be broken into contact with the refrigerant condenser at the upper end 27 of the system . In the U-Kohr *> 6, however, the level of the accumulated condensate simultaneously increases, and the gas circulation is interrupted when this level has reached the lower end 41 of the inner tube 33. The result is that the evaporator system no longer has a cooling effect. On the other hand, the heat supply to the cooker system is not interrupted, but continues to generate steam therein. In the embodiment shown, a type of cooker without a liquid barrier is used in the steam line to the condenser 25, and the flow of steam from the cooker to the condenser is also maintained when the gas is circulating is interrupted. In a corresponding manner, the flow would also persist in an apparatus of the type in which the cooker unit contains an analyzer or a similar liquid barrier in the steam line. Therefore, refrigerant condensate continues to be formed and passed into the evaporator system via line 26. The hot condensate is used to give off heat to the high-temperature evaporator, and the heat that penetrates the insulated walls of the refrigerator is also used for this purpose.
Der Teil 42 erstreckt sich eine geringe Entfernung von der Standhöhe aus nach aufwärts, die dem unteren Ende 41 des Innenrohres 33 entspricht« Im dargestellten Ausführungs-The liquid level in the U-tube 36 rises during the Defrosting on, and the extent to which this takes place, can be determined by the for a part 42 of the right leg 38 of the U-tube 36 selected dimensions are determined. beispiel hat der Rohrteil 42 einen beträchtlich geringeren Querschnitt als der Rest des rechten Schenkels 38 des U-Rohres 36. For example, the pipe part 42 has a considerably smaller cross section than the rest of the right leg 38 of the U-tube 36. When the liquid has reached the level at the end of the pipe 41, it will therefore rise considerably faster than before. On the left thigh a lifting tube 43 is connected, its highest point or vertex 44 at a suitable height above the lower one The end 41 of the inner tube 33 was when the liquid in the U-tube 36 was at the same height as the apex 44 of the lifting tube 43 has increased, the accumulated in the U-boring Liquid through the .Heberrohr 43 and is in the absorber vessel 21 diverted »
Absorption solution, rich in refrigerant, is stored in the U-tube 36 collected and through the lifting tube 43 to the rich side of the Recirculating liquid system, so that the solution then the pump 16 is fed to the. works at normal operating temperature even during defrosting periods «, Refrigerant condensate introduced into the evaporator system during these periods does not evaporate, but instead flows through the evaporator system, the Gas temperature changer 30, the line 31 and further into the Absorber vessel 21. It is necessary that the lifting tube 43 with the left leg 37 of the U-tube in such a Height is connected that the line is not so largely emptied of liquid that vapor from the vapor space 39 can overflow into the absorber system.
Es wurde schon erwähnt, daß die Dauer der Abtauperiode einerseits durch Veränderung des Höhenunterschiedes zwischen dem unteren Ende 41 des Innenrohres 33 und der Lage des Scheitels 44 des Heberohres 43 und andererseits durch die Dimensionierung des Teils 42 des rechten Schenkels 38 des U-Rohrs 36 beeinflußt werden kann· Durch abweichende Formgebung des U-Rohres 36 und der angeschlossenen Teile istIt has already been mentioned that the duration of the defrosting period on the one hand by changing the height difference between the lower end 41 of the inner tube 33 and the position of the apex 44 of the lifting tube 43 and on the other hand through the Dimensioning of the part 42 of the right leg 38 of the U-tube 36 can be influenced · By deviating shape of the U-tube 36 and the connected parts

es auch möglich, die Zeit zwischen zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Abtauperioden festzulegen.it is also possible to set the time between two consecutive defrosting periods.
Fig. 2 shows an absorption chiller which is designed in the same way for its normal cold generation like the apparatus of Fig. 1, so that it is superfluous to explain the apparatus in its details. In this apparatus However, the invention is realized in a different way than described above, since the gas circulation system in a line 50 for rich gas from the evaporator system 28, 29 to the absorber vessel 21 is interrupted. A line 51 for poor Gas is arranged directly between the absorber 20 and the inner tube of the evaporator system. The line 50 has a U-shaped part 52 in which liquid coming from the evaporator system and the gas temperature changer 30 is collected and forms a liquid barrier that occasionally interrupts the flow of gas. At the deepest point of the U-tube 52 is the short leg 53 of a lifting tube such anget.-included that the U-tube 52 when the Liquid therein has reached a height corresponding to the highest point or apex 54- of the lifting tube from which it is contained liquid through the long leg 55 of the lifting tube, which is connected to the absorber vessel 21, is emptied. By choosing the right height of the lifting tube as well as suitable dimensions of the U-tube, both the defrosting time as well as the time between two defrosting periods can be determined. The one in the U-tube 52 in the normal Operation, collected liquid contains refrigerant that has not been evaporated in the evaporator and a large amount Has proportion of absorption medium. The amount of liquid in the liquid barrier increases slowly as long as how the gas circulation is not interrupted; but if this is interrupted, the entire flows in the capacitor amount of refrigerant obtained through the evaporator system, the gas temperature changer and the line 50 in the U-tube 52, and the liquid in it now rises rapidly.
309811/0763309811/0763
In this embodiment, too, rich solution is fed to pump 16 during the entire defrosting period, which is why continued to be kept at the intended working temperature.
In the embodiment of FIG. 1, the liquid collected in the U-tube 36 primarily contains condensate, which from the line 40 flows down into the leg 38. In second Line contains the U-tube condensate that is formed in the inner tube 33 and flows into the leg 37. Due to the fact The fact that the last-mentioned amount of condensate strongly depends on the temperature of the environment, it can defrost influence on different occasions in such a way that this does not occur in constant intervals of time. this can, however, be avoided by the embodiment of the apparatus according to FIG. 3, because in this case the poor gas in The condensate formed by the gas temperature changer and the evaporator system is prevented from flowing down into the U-tube 36 will.
The apparatus of Fig. 3 has a concentric gas temperature changer 30, the inner tube 33 of which extends down in the form of an extension 57 into the liquid within the absorber vessel 21 extends.
A pipe 58 »cLas low gas leads, but blocked during defrosting is connected to the inner pipe 33 and has a portion inclined toward the branch point. This occasionally completely prevents condensate formed in the pipe 33 from flowing into the liquid barrier flow.
The apparatus of Fig. 4 is similar to that of Fig. 3, differs from this, however, in that the flow-rich gas under-
