Titel: Signalleuchte mit lichtumlenkender Scheibe als Lichtträger
Beschreibung :
Eine Signalleuchte, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an einer Seite der Scheibe (Glas, Acryl oder anderes transparentes Material), auf die Scheibenkante Licht gestrahlt wird (weiß oder farbig) und an der gegenüberliegenden Seite wo die Scheibe endet oder mit Vertiefungen im Material unterbrochen wird (Kante), das Licht wieder austritt. Die Lichtaustrittskante ist so abgewinkelt, dass das Licht in einem definierten Winkel austritt. Die Kante ist gerade, so dass das Licht auch gerade austritt (Bild 1, Bsp. KFZ Cabriolet, Windshot, Plexiglas, 3. Bremsleuchte). Die Bündelung des austretenden Lichtes kann man mit einer konvexen oder konkaven Wölbung der Scheibenkante (Lichtaustrittsseite) beeinflussen (Bild 2 u. 3). Die Scheibe muß an der gewollten Lichtaustrittsstelle nicht enden. Das austretende Licht kann auch durch im Scheibenmaterial eingearbeitete winklige Vertiefungen (eine oder mehrere) definiert abgelenkt werden (Bild 5). Der Abstand der Lichtquelle zur lichteintretenden Scheibenkante ist variabel (Bild 1, Bsp. KFZ Cabriolet, Windschot, Plexiglas, 3. Bremsleuchte und Bild 4, Bsp. KFZ Limusine, Heckscheibe, 3. Bremsleuchte). Die Größe und Materialstärke der Scheibe bzw. die Länge des Weges des Lichtes in der Scheibe ist variabel (Bild 1 u. 4).

Claims (1)

  1. Signalleuchte mit lichtumlenkender Scheibe als Lichtträger bestehend aus einer Lichtquelle die auf die Scheibenkante Licht strahlt (weißes oder farbiges Licht). Die Scheibe leitet das Licht weiter und gibt es an der gegenüberliegenden Scheibenkante wieder ab. Diese Scheibenkante ist in einem definierten Winkel geschliffen, so dass durch diesen Ablenkwinkel die Leuchtrichtung bestimmt wird. Die Kante an der Lichtaustrittsseite kann eine gerade, konvexe oder konkave Form haben (Bild 1, Bild 2, Bild 3). Damit wird die Bündelung des Lichtstrahles bestimmt. Der Lichtstrahl kann auch durch im Scheibenmaterial eingearbeitete winklige Vertiefungen (eine oder mehrer) abgelenkt werden (Bild 5). Die Lichtquelle und die lichtleitende Scheibe können in direktem Kontakt oder weiter voneinander entfernt montiert sein (Bild 1, Bild 4). Als Leuchtmittel (## s. Bild 1 bis 5) kann jede Art verwendet werden (Leuchtstofflampen, Glühlampen, Leuchtdioden . . . . .).
    Die lichtleitende Scheibe muß aus einem transparentem Material sein (Glas, Acryl- Glas . . . .). Die Größe und Materialstärke der Scheibe und damit die Länge des Weges des Lichtes in der Scheibe ist variabel (Bild 1, Bild 4).
