Beschreibung
Teppiche weisen üblicherweise ein Grundgewebe auf, in welches der Flor aus Wolle oder anderen Fasern eingebracht ist. Der Flor ist die Nutzschicht des Teppichs.
Der im Schutzanspruch angegebenen Erfindung liegt das Problem zugrunde, einen Teppich zu schaffen, der zusätzlich im Flor Lichtpunkte enthält, womit die Wirkung eines leuchtenden Teppichs geschaffen wird. Die Lichtpunkte im Teppich werden durch Lichtleitfasern erzeugt, die von der Rückseite des Teppichs in den Flor zur Oberfläche geführt werden und von einer Lichtquelle extern gespeist werden. Eine Anzahl von Lichtleitfasern, die von der Rückseite des Teppichs nach oben in den Flor der Vorderseite des Teppichs gestoßen werden, ergeben die Anzahl der Lichtpunkte im Teppich. Die Lichtleitfasern werden gebündelt und zu einer externen Lichtquelle geführt.
Der Teppich ist mit den eingeführten Lichtleitfasern begehbar.

Claims (1)

  1. Leuchtender Teppich dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich im Flor des Teppichs Lichtleiterfasern befinden, deren Enden Leuchtpunkte erzeugen.
