Die große Menge der Kerne führt leicht zu toten Zonen; beim Preßvorgang muß dementsprechend dann der Druck erhöht werden, wodurch die Hülle der Kerne zerstört und die Qualität des gewünschten Endproduktes herabgesetzt werden kann. Im Rahmen der bekannten Verfahren hat man bereits Vorrichtungen zum Aufbereiten ölhaltiger Früchte verwendet, bei denen eine mit einem gelochten Mantel versehene Trommel mit den Früchten beschickt und die Verarbeitung der Früchte in der Trommel derart durchgeführt wurde, daß die Beschickung und die Entleerung der Trommel kontinuierlich erfolgte. Die Entleerung der Trommel erfolgte durch den gelochten Mantel und wurde durch einen Entleerungsschieber reguliert. Die Vorrichtung arbeitet derart, daß das Füllgut durch den Einfülltrichter 19 in die Trommel eingeführt wird. Beim Betrieb der Vorrichtung werden die Früchte dann gegen die die Trommelwand bildenden Latten gerie1>en, besonders unter der Wirkung der sich im entgegengesetzten Sinne drehenden Schlagbretter. Das Fruchtfleisch der Früchte wird auf diese Weise abgelöst und fällt durch die Zwischenräume, die in der Trommelwand vorgesehen sind. Diese sind in ihrer Größe dem zu erreichenden technischen Ziel der Trennung des Fruchtfleisches von den Kernen angepaßt. DasFruchtfleisch wird unterhalb der Trommel in einer geeigneten Aufnahme\Orrichtung gesammelt und von dort zur Presse geführt. Die Kerne werden in der Trommel nach der Ausgangsöffnung 31 gedrückt; sie verlassen die Trommel durch die Ausgangsöffnung 31, nehmen dabei eine dünne Haut Öl mit sich und halten auch eine kleine Menge Fasern fest. Um diese Menge öl zu gewinnen, läßt man die durch die Ausgangsöffnung 31 kornmende Masse in den Behälter 26 fallen. Dieser ist mit Wasser gefüllt, und die Zuleitung 28 ermöglicht es, Dampf in das Wasser einzuführen. Hierdurch wird das etwa vorhandene öl an die Oberfläche des Wassers getrieben, von wo es durch den Ablauf 29 abgeführt werden kann. Es geht von hier aus zweckmäßig in die Dekantiertanks. Am Boden des Behälters 26 sind zwei ebene Flächen angebracht, die in der Mitte des Bodens in Form eines Winkels zusammentreffen.
