muß, daß also beide Stoffbeuger in etwa dieselbe Einstellung benötigen, so daß also
relativ begrenzten Stoffalten.Blind stitch sewing machine Blind stitch sewing machines are known for blind sewing
of the two parts of a folded length of fabric at the opening of the fold of fabric.
In one of the known machines, both the unfolded part of the fabric web runs
as well as the folded part horizontally through the sewing machine, the two fabric flexors
having. The left fabric flexor comes with the only simple part of the folded one
Fabric web in engagement, while in the known machine the second right fabric flexor
must cooperate with the three-fold part of the folded panel. It's understandable,
that both fabric flexors set in the known machine at the appropriate height
must be in order to ensure the correct blind insertion of the needle. It is
So to understand that for each of the two fabric flexors a separate setting
is necessary and, since the known machine has only one fabric support arm, this
Adjustment of the two fabric flexors to their correct working position cumbersome and
is difficult. -On another known blind stitch sewing machine, the same
works with two fabric flexors arranged in a single fabric support arm
the arrangement made so that the fold of the folded sheet of material is not horizontal
runs through the machine, but sags downwards and thus in a vertical position
Position between the two fabric flexors through the machine. These
The arrangement has the advantage over the known machine mentioned first,
that each of the two fabric flexors only interact with a single layer of fabric
must, so that both fabric flexors need roughly the same setting, so that
the fabric flexor setting on the last-mentioned machine is a bit easier
is to be effected than that in the case of the first described. The latter machine
has the disadvantage, however, that only relatively small folds of fabric can be sewn,
because the space for the passage of the folds is through in the known machine
their structural arrangement is very small and therefore only allows the generation of
relatively limited layers of fabric.
The object of the present invention is now to provide a blind stitch sewing machine
to create, with which on the one hand relatively large folds of fabric are sewn
can and on the other hand, the adjustment of the fabric flexors in extraordinary
Way is simplified. The machine according to the invention also works in a known manner
Way with two fabric flexors that work together in such a way that the folds of fabric are vertical
sags to the length of fabric between the two fabric flexors. According to the invention
however, the aforementioned disadvantages of the known machine are eliminated in that each
of the two fabric flexors is arranged in a special fabric support arm, each
Fabric support arm by means known per se in terms of interacting with
the throat plate is adjustable.

The two fabric support arms are labeled 5 and 6, they are in the
Points 7 and 8 pivoted. The fabric flexors are in the fabric support arms 5 and 6
9 and 10 also pivoted.
The fabric flexors 9 and 10 are driven by eccentrics 11 and 12
and bumpers 13 and 14. The fabric support arms 5 and 6 are in the usual way by
Tension springs 15 and 16 on the throat plate 17, or pressed so high that the needle
pierces the two pieces of fabric really blind. The height up to which the fabric support arms
5 and 6 are pushed up, can be regulated by means of the adjusting screws 18 and 19.
21. Die beiden Exzenter 11 und 12 sind um 180° versetzt. Wenn also Stoffbeuger 9
in seiner hintersten Stellung steht, befindet sich Stoffbeuger 10 gerade in seiner
vordersten Stellung.
The machine's upper shaft 20 runs twice as fast as the lower shaft
21. The two eccentrics 11 and 12 are offset by 180 °. So if fabric flexors 9
is in its rearmost position, the fabric flexor 10 is currently in his
foremost position.
The two parts of the fabric fold that between
the fabric flexors 9 and 10 are passed through are denoted by 22 and 23.
You will, because of the reduction of the shaft 22 compared to -the shaft 20 and the
Offset of eccentrics 11 and 12 by 180 °, pierced in a zigzag.
By arranging the two fabric support arms 5 and 6 side by side
and dependent on one another, in such a way that each one for himself is in height
can be adjusted by means of the adjusting screw 18 and 19, that is conceivable
to achieve the most precise penetration of the needle into the fabric parts 22 and 23, respectively.
In Fig. 3, the parts of the
Fabric folds are also indicated by 22 and 23.
