Abstract
Ein
Verfahren zur Inhibierung von Knochenresorption bei einem Säuger, wobei
das Verfahren die orale Verabreichung einer pharmazeutisch wirksamen Menge
eines Bisphosphonats als eine Einheitsdosis gemäß einem Dauertherapieplan mit
einem Dosierungsintervall, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, bestehend
aus einer Dosierung einmal pro Woche, einer Dosierung zweimal pro Woche,
einer Dosierung alle zwei Wochen und einer Dosierung zweimal pro
Monat, an den Säuger
umfasst.
Claims (33)
- Ein Verfahren zur Inhibierung von Knochenresorption bei einem Säuger, wobei das Verfahren die orale Verabreichung einer pharmazeutisch wirksamen Menge eines Bisphosphonats als eine Einheitsdosis gemäß einem Dauertherapieplan mit einem Dosierungsintervall, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus einer Dosierung einmal pro Woche, einer Dosierung zweimal pro Woche, einer Dosierung alle zwei Wochen und einer Dosierung zweimal pro Monat, an den Säuger umfasst.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei das Bisphosphonat ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus Alendronat, Cimadronat, Clodronat, Tiludronat, Etidronat, Ibandronat, Risedronat, Piridronat, Pamidronat, Zolendronat, pharmazeutisch annehmbaren Salzen davon und Mischungen davon.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei das Bisphosphonat ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus Alendronat, pharmazeutisch annehmbaren Salzen davon und Mischungen davon.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 3, wobei das pharmazeutisch annehmbare Salz Alendronat-Mononatrium-Trihydrat ist.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 4, wobei der Säuger ein Mensch ist.
- Ein Verfahren zur Behandlung von Osteoporose bei einem Säuger, der eine solche Behandlung benötigt, wobei das Verfahren die orale Verabreichung einer pharmazeutisch wirksamen Menge eines Bisphosphonats als eine Einheitsdosis gemäß einem Dauertherapieplan mit einem Dosierungsintervall, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus einer Dosierung einmal pro Woche, einer Dosierung zweimal pro Woche, einer Dosierung alle zwei Wochen und einer Dosierung zweimal pro Monat, an den Säuger umfasst.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 6, wobei der Säuger ein Mensch ist.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 7, wobei das Dosierungsintervall einmal pro Woche ist und die Einheitsdosis etwa 70 mg Alendronat-Mononatrium-Trihydrat auf Basis von aktiver Alendronsäure enthält.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 7, wobei das Dosierungsintervall zweimal pro Woche ist und die Einheitsdosis etwa 35 mg Alendronat-Mononatrium-Trihydrat auf Basis von aktiver Alendronsäure enthält.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 7, wobei das Dosierungsintervall zweiwöchentlich ist und die Einheitsdosis etwa 140 mg Alendronat-Mononatrium-Trihydrat auf Basis von aktiver Alendronsäure enthält.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 7, wobei das Dosierungsintervall zweimal pro Monat ist und die Einheitsdosis etwa 140 mg Alendronat-Mononatrium-Trihydrat auf Basis von aktiver Alendronsäure enthält.
- Ein Verfahren zur Prävention von Osteoporose bei einem Säuger, der eine solche Behandlung benötigt, wobei das Verfahren die orale Verabreichung einer pharmazeutisch wirksamen Menge eines Bisphosphonats als eine Einheitsdosis gemäß einem Dauertherapieplan mit einem Dosierungsintervall, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus einer Dosierung einmal pro Woche, einer Dosierung zweimal pro Woche, einer Dosierung alle zwei Wochen und einer Dosierung zweimal pro Monat, an den Säuger umfasst.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 12, wobei der Säuger ein Mensch ist.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 13, wobei das Dosierungsintervall einmal pro Woche ist und die Einheitsdosis etwa 35 mg Alendronat-Mononatrium-Trihydrat auf Basis von aktiver Alendronsäure enthält.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 13, wobei das Dosierungsintervall zweimal pro Woche ist und die Einheitsdosis etwa 17,5 mg Alendronat-Mononatrium-Trihydrat auf Basis von aktiver Alendronsäure enthält.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 13, wobei das Dosierungsintervall zweiwöchentlich ist und die Einheitsdosis etwa 70 mg Alendronat-Mononatrium-Trihydrat auf Basis von aktiver Alendronsäure enthält.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 13, wobei das Dosierungsintervall zweimal pro Monat ist und die Einheitsdosis etwa 70 mg Alendronat-Mononatrium-Trihydrat auf Basis von aktiver Alendronsäure enthält.
- Ein Verfahren zur Behandlung von abnormaler Knochenresorption bei einem Menschen, der eine solche Behandlung benötigt, umfassend die orale Verabreichung einer Einheitsdosis eines Bisphosphonats an den Menschen, wobei die Einheitsdosis etwa 17,5 mg bis etwa 140 mg, auf Alendronsäurebasis, eines Bisphosphonats enthält, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus Alendronat, pharmazeutisch annehmbaren Salzen davon und Mischungen davon.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 18, wobei die Einheitsdosis etwa 35 mg des Bisphosphonats enthält.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 18, wobei die Einheitsdosis etwa 70 mg des Bisphosphonats enthält.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 20, wobei die Einheitsdosis einmal pro Woche verabreicht wird.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 18, wobei die Einheitsdosis etwa 140 mg des Bisphosphonats enthält.
- Ein Verfahren zur Prävention von abnormaler Knochenresorption bei einem Menschen, der eine solche Behandlung benötigt, umfassend die orale Verabreichung einer Einheitsdosis eines Bisphosphonats an den Menschen, wobei die Einheitsdosis etwa 8,75 mg bis etwa 70 mg, auf Alendronsäurebasis, eines Bisphosphonats enthält, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus Alendronat, pharmazeutisch annehmbaren Salzen davon und Mischungen davon, auf Gewichtsbasis an aktiver Alendronsäure.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 23, wobei die Einheitsdosis etwa 17,5 mg des Bisphosphonats enthält.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 23, wobei die Einheitsdosis etwa 35 mg des Bisphosphonats enthält.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 25, wobei die Einheitsdosis einmal pro Woche verabreicht wird.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 23, wobei die Einheitsdosis etwa 70 mg des Bisphosphonats enthält.
- Ein Verfahren zur Inhibierung von Knochenresorption bei einem Säuger, wobei das Verfahren die sequenzielle orale Verabreichung einer pharmazeutisch wirksamen Menge einer Einheitsdosis eines Histamin-H2-Blockers oder eines Protonenpumpeninhibitors und einer Einheitsdosis eines Bisphosphonats gemäß einem Dauertherapieplan mit einem Dosierungsintervall, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus einer Dosierung einmal pro Woche, einer Dosierung zweimal pro Woche, einer Dosierung alle zwei Wochen und einer Dosierung zweimal pro Monat, an den Säuger umfasst.
- Ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 28, wobei die Verabreichung des Histamin-H2-Blockers oder des Protonenpumpeninhibitors etwa 30 Minuten bis etwa 24 Stunden vor der Verabreichung des Bisphosphonats erfolgt.
- Eine pharmazeutische Zusammensetzung, die etwa 70 mg, auf Basis von aktiver Alendronsäure, eines Bisphosphonats enthält, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus Alendronat, pharmazeutisch annehmbaren Salzen davon und Mischungen davon.
- Eine pharmazeutische Zusammensetzung, die etwa 140 mg, auf Basis von aktiver Alendronsäure, eines Bisphosphonats enthält, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus Alendronat, pharmazeutisch annehmbaren Salzen davon und Mischungen davon.
- Ein Kit zur Inhibierung von Knochenresorption bei einem Säuger, wobei das Kit wenigstens eine pharmazeutisch wirksame Einheitsdosis eines Bisphosphonats zur oralen Verabreichung gemäß einem Dauertherapieplan mit einem Dosierungsintervall, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus einer Dosierung einmal pro Woche, einer Dosierung zweimal pro Woche, einer Dosierung alle zwei Wochen und einer Dosierung zweimal pro Monat, enthält.
- Ein Verfahren zur Inhibierung von Knochenresorption bei einem Säuger, wobei das Verfahren die orale Verabreichung einer pharmazeutisch wirksamen Menge eines Bisphosphonats als eine Einheitsdosis gemäß einem Dauertherapieplan mit einer Periodizität von etwa einmal alle 3 Tage bis etwa einmal alle 16 Tage an den Säuger umfasst.
