Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Tisch mit einer Stuetze, einer Tischplatte und Mitteln zum Verbinden der Tischplatte mit der Stuetze sowie mit Erweiterungs-Kippteilen fuer die Tischplatte, ein insbesondere fuer den Zimmer-Servierdienst u. ae. geeigneter Klapp- und Erweiterungstisch mit Erweiterungsklappteilen, die an entgegengesetzt liegenden Kanten der Tischplatte ueber Gelenke befestigt sind. Die Gelenke besitzen ein erstes, an dem Klappteil befestigtes Gelenkelement und ein zweites Gelenkelement, das an der Tischplatte angebracht und gegen dieselbe gleitend verschiebbar ist. Die beiden Gelenkelemente sind durch einen Schwenkstift miteinander schwenkbar verbunden, der an dem zweiten Gelenkelement abgestuetzt und in einem laenglichen Schlitz des ersten Gelenkelementes aufgenommen ist. Ein starrer Anschlag ist an dem zweiten Gelenkelement befestigt mit kleinerem Abstand von dem Schwenkstift, als der Halbmesser des ersten Endes vom Schlitz zum Teilende und geringer als der Abstand vom zweiten Ende des Schlitzes zum Teilende ist. Ein derartiges Kippen der Tischplatte an einer Stütze erleichtert das Aufbewahren des nicht gebrauchten Tisches. Das Gleitelement ist gegenüber dem Schwenkteil gleitend verschiebbar, jedoch sind die beiden Elemente mittels einer Verbindungsfeder aufeinander vorgespannt. Wenn die Tisch-Klappteile von einer mit der Tischplatte ebenen Stellung weg bewegt werden sollen, muß das Klappteil von der Tischplatte um ein vorbestimmtes Stück weggezogen und entweder nach unten oder nach oben gekippt werden. In jedem Fall werden dann, wenn das Klappteil von der Tischplatte weggezogen wird, die Gelenkteile freigegeben. Dadurch kann es unerwünschte Folgen geben, da im Gebrauch auf den Tischplatten Tischtücher, und zwar allgemein weiße Tischtücher, liegen. Wenn die Klappteile zum Freisetzen der Gelenke auseinandergezogen werden, kann das Tischtuch in den Gelenkbereich hineingeraten und verschmutzt werden. Dabei ist es vom Standpunkt des Hotels aus äußerst wünschenswert, daß die Betätigung des Tisches so geräuschlos, glatt und angenehm wie möglich vor sich geht, um Unbequemlichkeiten für die Hotelgäste in irgendeiner Weise zu vermeiden.
