Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para producir un compuesto 5-alcoxi-4-hidroximetilpirazol, en una forma simple y con buena eficiencia. Un proceso para producir un compuesto 5-alcoxi-4-hidroximetilpirazol representado por la fórmula general (3) que comprende reaccionar un compuesto de pirazol representado por la fórmula general (1) (en donde R1 es un sustituyente tal como un grupo alquilo, grupo sustituido o sin sustituir o semejante, y R2 es un grupo de extracción de lectrones) con un compuesto representado por la fórmula general (2): L-R3 (2) (en donde L es un grupo saliente y R3 es un sustituyente tal como un grupo alquilo o sin sustituir o semejante), en la presencia de una base y formaldehído.
