Abstract
En un proceso para la separación de un flujo de gas quecontiene metano, componentes de C2 , componentes de C3 y componentes de hidrocarburo más pesados en una fracción de gas residual volátil y una fracción relativamente menos volátil que contiene dichos componentes de C2 , componentes de C3 y componentes de hidrocarburo más pesados, o los componentes de C3 y componentes de hidrocarburo más pesados en donde: (a) el flujo de gas se enfría bajo presión a fin de proporcionar un flujo enfriado; (b) el flujo enfriado se expande a una presión menor, enfriándose aun más; y (c) el flujo que se ha enfriado más se fracciona a dicha presión menor, con lo cual se recupera los componentes de la fracción relativamente menos volátil; dicho proceso caracterizado porque el gas se divide en primer y segundo flujos gaseosos, antes del enfriamiento; y (1) un flujo de destilación se extrae de una sección superior de una torre fraccionadora, y se calienta; (2) el flujo de destilaci6n calentado se comprime a una presión mayor, y luego se divide en la fracción de gas residual volátil y en un flujo de reciclaje comprimido; (3) el flujo de reciclaje comprimido se combina con el primer flujo gaseoso para formar un flujo combinado; (4) el flujo combinado se enfría para condensar sustancialmente todo este flujo; (5) el flujo combinado y sustancialmente condensado se expande a dicha presión menor y se suministra a la torre fraccionadora en una posición de alimentación superior; (6) el segundo flujo gaseoso se enfría bajo una presión suficiente para condensarlo parcialmente; (7) el segundo flujo parcialmente condensado se separa proporcionando, de este modo, un flujo de vapor y un flujo condensado; ...
