Abstract

En un proceso para la separación de una corriente gaseosaque contiene metano, componentes C2 componentes C3 y componentes hidrocarburos más pesados en una fracción de gas residual volátil y una fracción relativamente menos colátil que contiene dichos componentes C2 , componentes C3 y componentes hidrocarburos más pesados o dichos componentes C3 y componentes hidrocarburos más pesados, proceso en el cual(a) dicha corriente gaseosa se divide en primera y segunda corrientes gaseosas;(b) dicha primera corriente gaseosa se enfría bajo presión para condersarse prácticamente en su totalidad y luego se expande a una presión inferior, por lo cual se enfría adicionalmente; (c) dicha segunda corriente gaseosa se enfría bajo presión y luego se expande a dicha presión inferior; y(d) dichas primeras y segundas corrientes gaseosas expandidas son fraccionadas a dicha presión inferior por lo cual se recuperan los componentes de dicha fracción relativamente menos volátil; CARACTERIZADO PORQUE(1) se hace pasar dicha primera corriente enfriada y expedida a una relación de intercambio térmico con una corriente de destilación más caliente que se eleva en las etapas de fraccionamiento de una columna de destilación, enfriado así dicha corriente de destilación lo suficiente para condensarla por lo menos en parte;(2) se pone en contacto íntimo por lo menos una porción de dicha segunda corriente expandida y enfriada por lo menos una porción de dicha corriente de destilación por lo menos parcialmente condensada en un dispositivo de contacto que contiene por lo menos una etapa de separación de fraccionamiento teórica, y a continuación se separan los vapores y los líquidos procedente de dicho dispositivo de contacto:(3) dichos líquidos recuperados por ese medio son transferidos a dicha columna de destilación en carácter de alimentación líquida a la misma; ...
