Abstract
本实用新型公开一种电连接器,其包括主体部及收容于主体部内的若干端子,其中主体部包括垂直部及与垂直部相连接的水平部,垂直部上设有收容槽,每一端子包含有组置于收容槽中的第一部分,组置于水平部上以连接扁平线缆的第二部分及接合于母板的第三部分,该电连接器的特殊结构使它能同时与母板、子板和扁平线缆相连接。
Description
本实用新型是有关一种电连接器,尤指一种能同时连接母板、子板和扁平线缆的电连接器。
电连接器通常用以连接两个电气元件,例如母板、硬盘驱动器等。通常,卡缘连接器安装在母板上,将母板和子板电性连接,而扁平线缆连接器则安装在印刷电路板(如母板或子板)上,用以将扁平线缆和印刷电路板相连接。因而为了实现母板、子板和扁平线缆之间的电性连接至少需要两个电连接器,这将占用较大空间且提高成本。
出于成本考虑,实有必要提供一种能同时连接母板、子板和扁平线缆的新型电连接器。
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种能同时连接母板、子板和扁平线缆的电连接器。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型采用如下技术方案:电连接器包括主体部及收容于主体部内的若干端子,其中主体部包括垂直部及与垂直部相连接并组接至电路母板的水平部,垂直部上设有可供电路子板插接的收容槽,每一端子包含有组置于收容槽中以与子板接触的第一部分,组置于水平部上以连接扁平线缆的第二部分及接合于母板的第三部分。
相较于现有技术,本实用新型端子所具有的三部分,可分别与母板、子板和扁平线缆相连接。
下面结合附图及较佳实施例对本实用新型作进一步说明。
图1是本实用新型电连接器的主体部的立体图。
图2是本实用新型电连接器的主体部及与之配合的盖部的立体图。
图3是与图2相反方向的盖部的立体图,其中连接杆被移除,以显示如何将连接杆安装在盖部上。
图4是子板与电连接器组装前之立体图,其中主体部安装在母板上,扁平线缆安装在主体部上。
图5是图4所示子板与电连接器的组合图。
图6显示主体部、盖部、母板、子板和扁平线缆之间的连接的剖视示意图。
图7是本实用新型电连接器的盖部从主体部分离时的示意图。
请参见图1、2所示,本实用新型电连接器包括主体部1及与主体部1相配合的盖部5,该盖部5可与主体部1相分离。主体部1呈“L”形结构,包括垂直部11及与垂直部11一体相连的水平部12,垂直部11和水平部12分别是主体部1的第一端部及第二端部。成排分布的若干端子从水平部12向下延伸,从图2视角只能看见外排端子的尾部125。垂直部11上设有收容槽10,用以收容子板3(图4参照)。垂直部11邻近水平部12的一侧壁上自垂直部11顶端面向下凹陷形成一导引斜面111,垂直部11侧壁上所设的导引斜面111下方形成一凹陷部110。水平部12上靠近垂直部11处设有一切口100。
自水平部12两端向上延伸出一卡钩部121,该卡钩部121与垂直部11相平行。若干凹槽120并排设置于水平部12的上表面。若干端子131收容于主体部1内(图6参照),每一端子131包括第一部分13、第二部分123及第三部分125(即尾部),第一部分13设置于收容槽10内,以与子板3相接合,刺破型的第二部分123设置于水平部12内并从相应凹槽120向上伸出,以与扁平线缆22实现电性接触,第三部分125则接合于母板2上。
请参见图3所示,盖部5具有一主体部51,前安装部52、后安装部53分别设置于主体部51相对两侧。主体部51为片状结构,它具有波纹状的底边511。一对插脚516分别从主体部51的两端向下延伸,并凸露于波纹状的底边511的下方。于插脚516内侧各设有一前缺口510,主体部51的中部则设有一后缺口512。
前安装部52具有一横梁522(如图2所示),其表面粗糙,可增加与手接触时的摩擦阻力,便于安装与取出。续请配合参见图6,一对前插销521从横梁522两端向下延伸而成,并借一前肋部52 3与主体部51相连接,该前肋部523穿过前缺口510。自横梁522向上延伸设有一弓形凸缘525,该弓形凸缘525顶部设有一紧固槽520。后安装部53呈平板状结构,借后肋部532与主体部51相连接,该后肋部532穿过后缺口512。后安装部53的下端形成有一后插销531,其上端设有一安装孔530。一连接杆54两端分别与紧固槽520及安装孔530相嵌合,以连接前安装部52与后安装部53。
请参见图4所示,其显示母板2、子板3及扁平线缆22与本实用新型电连接器相组合的位置关系,电连接器的主体部1焊接于母板2上,扁平线缆22的前端部221向下弯折延伸并固持于主体部1的切口100中,其水平部分则嵌置于主体部1的水平部12的凹槽120内。子板3一侧边设有一排或相对两排金手指31,当子板3插装入收容槽10中时,可与电连接器的内部端子13相接合。
请参见图5所示,子板3与主体部1电性连接,扁平线缆22安装于盖部5与水平部12之间。请配合参见图6,其更详细地显示了子板3、电连接器、扁平线缆22及母板2之间的结构关系。
组装时,子板3***收容槽10中,进而金手指31与电连接器的端子第一部分13电性接触。盖部5通过前插销521与卡钩部121的嵌合及后插销531与凹陷部110的卡合,而稳固安装于主体部1上。同时,盖部5的波纹状底边511将扁平线缆22压置于水平部12上,而使扁平线缆22被端子的第二部分123所刺破,实现扁平线缆22与前述端子第二部分123间的电性连接。导引斜面111用以导引后插销531滑过,最后固持于凹陷部110中。借此,母板2、子板3、扁平线缆22之间通过电连接器电性连接。
请参见图7所示,在前安装部52的弓形凸缘525上施加一个沿水平方向8的外力,同时沿竖直方向9提起盖部5,盖部5将与主体部1分离,而且当沿水平方向8的外力加在前安装部52的弓形凸缘525上,连接杆54将把外力传到后安装部53的上部,迫使前插销521和后安装部53相对于前肋部523和后肋部532分别产生杠杆作用,使得前插销521和后插销531分别从卡钩部121和凹陷部110脱离。
Claims (8)
1.一种电连接器,其特征在于,它包括:主体部及收容于主体部内的若干端子,其中主体部包括垂直部及与垂直部相连接并组接至电路母板的水平部,垂直部上设有可供电路子板插接的收容槽,每一端子包含有组置于收容槽中以与子板接触的第一部分,组置于水平部上以连接扁平线缆的第二部分及接合于母板的第三部分。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该电连接器还包括安装于水平部上且可与其相分离的盖部。
3.根据权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:端子的第二部分为刺破型结构。
4.根据权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:垂直部具有设置于前表面用以导引盖部安装至水平部上的导引斜槽。
5.根据权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:垂直部具有设于导引斜槽下方用以与盖部相结合的凹陷部。
6.根据权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:盖部包含用以与垂直部的凹陷部相结合的后插销部。
7.根据权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:水平部设有向上延伸的卡钩部,盖部设有可与该卡钩部配合的前插销。
8.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:水平部还并排设置有若干凹槽,每一端子的第二部分从凹槽向外伸出。
