Abstract
The invention relates to a method for producing a synthetic fibre for use in an artificial grass sports field, comprising the steps of: i) supplying a layer of synthetic material; and ii) obtaining the synthetic fibre from the layer of synthetic material. The invention also relates to such a synthetic fibre and to an artificial lawn suitable for sports fields, consisting of a substrate to which synthetic fibres according to the invention have been attached. The object of the invention is therefore to provide a more universal fibre, which on the one hand can be produced for a specific use and on the other hand saves on production and material costs. According to the invention, the layer of synthetic material is composed of at least two layers of different synthetic materials, using a co-extrusion process. The co-extrusion step provides a separation of the different properties of the synthetic materials that are used.
Description
The present invention relates to a kind of preparation method who is applicable to the synthetic fiber of artificial turf playing field, it may further comprise the steps:
I) provide the synthetic material layer; With
Ii) make synthetic fiber by this synthetic material layer.
The invention still further relates to such synthetic fiber and the chinampa that is applicable to sports ground, this lawn is made up of the substrate that is attached with synthetic fiber of the present invention.
At present, synthetic material is used for various purposes. In recent years, especially obviously increase about the application of the various synthetic materials of sports ground chinampa.
In this, people's research especially concentrates in the improvement of the used synthetic fiber of sports ground chinampa, wherein, with the fiber of certain-length by being attached in the substrate such as the mode of clustering.People have carried out artificial grass fibre and the improvement of the artificial turf playing field that obtains thus, thereby can build up at present not only aspect outward appearance, and situation about particularly showing does not at the volley all have the artificial turf playing field of too big difference with natural lawn sports ground.
The use different with natural lawn sports ground, that artificial turf playing field can be more permanent and more concentrated, and needn't consider weather condition. At present, the development of novel artificial grass fiber mainly concentrates on and obtains a kind of fiber, and it can further reduce injured, the scratch that causes when for example sliding and burn or sprain the incidence in joint.
Clearly improving the existing fiber that is used for artificial turf playing field can be made by the synthetic material layer, for example passes through cutting operation. This synthetic material layer can be made up of the mixture of different synthetic materials, for example, wherein a kind of synthetic material is given described fiber with length-specific (opposing is ruptured or torn), and the another kind of synthetic material in the mixture provides specific elasticity or pliability or better sliding capability for described fiber.
A shortcoming of this existing synthetic fiber is: because its equal phase structure, all (less important) character of fiber are combined in the fiber equably. The result is, some character that fiber has not as expectation significantly, and other character than expectation obviously. Therefore, the composition of existing fiber is usually by standardization, and their production and material cost are unnecessarily high usually.
Therefore, the purpose of this invention is to provide a kind of more universal fibre, it can be used for special-purpose on the one hand, has saved production and material cost on the other hand.According to the present invention, described synthetic material layer is made up of two-layer at least different synthetic material, adopts the coetrusion preparation.
The coextrusion step has realized the separation of the various character of used synthetic material.By giving synthetic fiber with layer structure, can make each layer have specific function character (function-specific property), this character does not need or only need be present in the degree of obvious reduction other position in the fiber. This makes the fiber prescription of selecting to be specifically designed to special-purpose become possibility, except more effective material consumption, also produces a kind of synthetic fiber, and its known fiber than equal phase composition has obvious improved motion and fibroid.
According to the present invention, by can significantly improve the motility of synthetic fiber at coextrusion process after-drawing fiber.Except length increases, behind drawing process, correctly select material to be provided at the fiber that transversely has intensity like this (for example its not easy fracture) according to the present invention. When being used for artificial turf playing field, this fiber and follow-up chinampa have the longer life-span, and chinampa do not need too many maintenance, therefore can keep longer run duration. In addition, also obviously reduced the injured risk of sporter.
According to the present invention, fiber is made up of the monofilament of one or a few winding at least. This fiber can form band shape, and more specifically, described ribbon-like fibre can be formed the ribbon-like fibre of fibrillation.
In first embodiment according to the inventive method, the synthetic material layer is made up of the sandwich layer of first synthetic material, and the two sides of described sandwich layer is coated with one or more skins, and each skin is made up of different synthetic materials.
The function of different nature that can obtain different synthetic materials is thus separated, and wherein each synthetic material layer has specific function character, and this character other position in fiber is unnecessary or inoperative.
According to the desired specific function character of synthetic fiber of desire preparation, described synthetic material layer can have different thickness.
In the first embodiment, first synthetic material is made up of the mixture of polymer and plastic body, the ratio of plastic body 30-80wt% especially in its center core layer, the ratio of plastic body 30-50wt% more particularly in the sandwich layer. From the viewpoint of specific function, this makes the fiber with sandwich layer demonstrate very advantageously not breaking property.
In another embodiment, at least a other synthetic material can comprise hydrophilic additive. Thus obtained artificial grass fibre have can moisture absorption (water) specific functional features. This makes artificial turf playing field to keep moistening for more time, thereby (slip etc.) have positive impact to exercise performance. When moving on sports ground, the moisture of absorption is released as on natural lawn.
Can be used as the upper strata of coextrusion fiber or the example of outer field hydrophilic additive is ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer.According to the content of vinyl alcohol in the copolymer, this polymer can absorb more moisture.
The embodiment of another hydrophilic additive is the use of poly hydroxy ethyl acrylate.
In yet another embodiment, at least a other synthetic material comprises antisatic additive. The result is that any static that produces when moving on sports ground can both be released.Usually, the interfibrous dispersion that is used for many artificial turf playing fields produces static at the volley, and result's upwards migration in sports ground. Therefore, described granular dispersion can be diffused in the whole air, and this is beastly at the volley.
In addition, antisatic additive guarantees that can static not take place by the sporter discharges.
More particularly, antisatic additive (especially permanent anti-static agent) can be a polymer, as polyamide or polyether block amide. In another embodiment, described additive is a polyester block copolymer.
Below with reference to accompanying drawings the present invention is carried out more detailed explanation, wherein:
Figure 1A-1D has shown the different embodiments according to synthetic fiber of the present invention;
Some embodiments have been shown to Fig. 2 A and 2B example with the artificial turf playing field that uses the synthetic fiber that the inventive method makes.
Fiber (10,20,30,40) is made by the thin slice of synthetic material, and described thin slice obtains by coetrusion, is made up of two-layer at least different synthetic material (11,12), shown in Figure 1A.Opposite with the existing known synthetic fiber of forming by homogeneous phase synthetic material mixture, can make each layer (layering 11 and 12 in this embodiment) have specific function character according to the layer structure of synthetic fiber of the present invention (10,20,30,40).The result is, uses the synthetic material with particular characteristic to avoid or significantly reduced necessity that this synthetic material and relevant specific function character other position in fiber thereof exist at the privileged site of synthetic fiber.
For example, layering 11 can be used synthetic material, the mechanical strength of synthetic fiber with needs (and hardness) given in described layering in principle, and tearing property not especially making that motion can not make as the synthetic fiber of artificial turf playing field on described artificial turf playing field to tear.
In another embodiment, shown in Figure 1B, synthetic fiber 20 are made up of the three layers three kinds different synthetic materials with label 21,22,23 expressions.Intermediate layer 21 is formed with the cheap synthetic material of mechanical strength by giving fiber 20, and outer 22 can be made up of different synthetic materials with 23, each layer all shows different specific function character, and this character is the most outstanding in the skin performance of synthetic fiber, rather than in the centre.
Therefore, outer 21 and 22 can have elasticity, for example opposite with internal layer 21, and this provides specific hardness (opposing is ruptured and torn) for fiber, and described outer 21 or 22 elasticity has positive impact to the motility of artificial turf playing field.
In the embodiment shown in Figure 1B, outer 22 can be made up of different synthetic materials with 23, and Fig. 1 C has shown that outer 32A and 32B are the embodiment of being made up of identical synthetic material.
Fig. 1 D has further shown a kind of more complicated layer structure according to synthetic fiber of the present invention.By the coextrusion of different synthetic materials, a kind of stratiform synthetic fiber of forming and coating by dissimilar outer 42A-42B or 43A-43B respectively by intermediate core layer 41 have been made.
The essence of the method according to this invention and the synthetic fiber that make according to the present invention is: opposite with known synthetic fiber, described synthetic fiber do not have wherein all different synthetic materials and relevant nature and evenly are combined in equal phase structure in the fiber. The equal phase structure or the composition that have artificial turf playing field now make that some character of fiber is remarkable not as what expect, and other character are more obvious than what expect.
Use method of the present invention can obtain synthetic fiber based on special formulation, opposite with standardized fiber, this fiber shows at its some position that to be considered to be in other position unnecessary or do not wish the particular functionality that exists.
This makes it possible to more effectively use various (synthesizing) material, and it has not only reduced cost, and has obtained a kind of more general synthetic fiber, and according to the present invention, its known fiber than equal phase structure has obvious improved motion and fibre property. In this particular, internal layer 11,21,31 and 41 is made up of more cheap synthetic material, and it gives the certain strength that fiber ruptures or tears with opposing in principle.Skin 12,22,23,32A-32B, 42A-42B and 43A-43B are made up of the synthetic material that needn't be present in the fiber sandwich layer.
In this article, a particular is that skin can be made up of antisatic additive. It is charged by the static that is produced by motion on artificial turf playing field that antisatic additive suppresses fiber.Otherwise antisatic additive can guarantee that the static that produces is discharged by artificial turf playing field, and, for example, do not discharge (this will cause sour experience) by the sporter.
In addition, in most of artificial turf playing fields, owing to produce static, used granular dispersion (being made up of rubber type of material usually) is upwards migration in artificial turf playing field, and the result who moves on sports ground is diffused in the whole air described dispersion.Airborne granular dispersion produces the influence that makes sporter's uneasiness.
Antistatic additive especially permanent anti-static agent can be a polymer, for example polyamide or polyether block amide. In another embodiment, this additive is a polyester block copolymer.
In another embodiment, outer layers (or whole two skins) (12,22-23,32a-32b, 43a-43b) can comprise hydrophilic additive. Thus obtained artificial grass fibre has can moisture absorption from air (water), for example specific functional features of rainwater. This makes artificial turf playing field preserve moisture for more time as the sports ground of natural lawn, and it has positive impact to exercise performance (when especially waiting when sliding), and when moving on sports ground simultaneously, the moisture of absorption is released as on natural lawn.
Can be ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer as an example of the hydrophilic additive of the upper strata of coextrusion fiber or skin (12,22-23,32a-32b, 43a-43b).According to the content of vinyl alcohol in the copolymer, this copolymer can absorb more moisture.
In this case, intermediate layer (11,21,31,41) give fibre strength, and the upper strata of relative thin (12,22-23,32a-32b, 43a-43b) absorb moisture. Can from air (with forms such as rainwater, mists), absorb moisture or provide moisture by effective watering device.(watering before motion on the artificial turf playing field usually.)
At the volley, the moisture of absorption discharges once more, and this has reduced risk injured when for example sliding. And the moisture of absorption reduces the temperature of sports ground, because artificial turf playing field can be heated by sunlight, may be up to 70 ℃ under unfavorable conditions.
Another embodiment as the hydrophilic additive of outer (12,22-23,32a-32b, 43a-43b) is to use poly hydroxy ethyl acrylate. In order to prevent and the problem that combines of intermediate layer (11,21,31,41), need five-layer co-squeezing to go out structure, shown in Fig. 1 D.In this case, layer 32a-42b is the binder course in hydrophilic layer 43a-43b and intermediate layer 41.
For illustrative purposes, each layer of artificial grass fibre shown in (shown in Figure 1A-1D) has different thickness.Yet, shown in the actual (real) thickness of thickness and gained artificial grass fibre inconsistent.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 D, binder course 42a-42b is thin more a lot of than what show, the 1-5% of total fiber thickness normally, and other layer 41-43a-43b is thicker relatively. If as intermediate layer 11-21-31-41, then the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer as hydrophilic additive need not use the binder course of any filling to combine with the intermediate layer with polyethylene.
Fig. 2 A and 2B have shown the embodiment of several artificial turf playing fields, have wherein used according to synthetic fiber of the present invention. In these two accompanying drawings, artificial turf playing field comprises substrate 1, and several synthetic fiber 2 that the application of the invention method obtains are attached thereto with the position shown in the label 3 by the method for for example clustering.Synthetic fiber 2 are made by the synthetic material layer, and described synthetic material is obtained by the method for at least two kinds of different synthetic materials by coextrusion.Synthetic fiber can be separately or as the fibre bundle 2a-2c of for example tangle up attached in the substrate.More particularly, the fiber that should make by coextrusion can be the ribbon-like fibre of fibrillation.
In another embodiment, shown in Fig. 2 B, can be monofilament according to synthetic fiber of the present invention. In this case, it is a branch of that several monofilament can be wound in, and afterwards, every bundle is attached in the substrate 1.In Fig. 2 B, substrate has open architecture and is made up of the grid of supporting yarn 1a-1b, and synthetic fiber 2 are attached on this structure.
