本发明涉及含有至少两种组分的颜料混合物,组分A是涂有一种或多种金属、金属氧化物和/或金属硫化物的Al2O3薄片料和组分B是特殊效应的颜料,和涉及它们在清漆、涂料、印刷油墨、塑料和化妆品配制剂中的用途。
对于小片状颜料,遮盖力和光泽常常很难同时达到令人满意的程度。例如,覆盖了一层或多层薄的金属氧化物层的SiO2薄片或云母小片体现特征于干涉色和高光泽,但与此同时,归因于透明基质,体现特征于高的透明度和因此具有较差的遮盖力。
EPO 562 329公开了一种颜料混合物,它包括涂有铁氧化物的SiO2薄片与涂有铁氧化物的云母颜料的混合物。
DE-A-42 40 511公开了由干涉颜料和小片状彩色颜料组成的颜料混合物。干涉颜料包括涂有金属氧化物的云母薄片或SiO2薄片,和彩色颜料能够是已着色的、未涂敷的SiO2薄片。该颜料混合物被引入到涂料,印刷油墨或塑料中。
本发明的目的是提供一种颜料混合物,它突出表现在较高的遮盖力和并能够使自己容易地引入到使用它的各体系中,且与此同时,体系中颜料/色料的分离基本上消除。
惊奇地,现已发现一种没有上述缺点的颜料混合物。本发明的颜料混合物是由至少两种组分组成,组分A是涂有一种或多种金属、金属氧化物和/或金属硫化物的Al2O3薄片料和组分B是特殊效应的颜料。特殊效应的颜料与带涂层的Al2O3薄片料的混合能够使得使用该颜料的体系具有多重随角异色效果,且色彩效果是强烈的,和获得了新的颜色效果。
本发明因此提供了含有至少两种组分的颜料混合物,组分是涂有一种或多种金属、金属氧化物和/或金属硫化物的Al2O3薄片料和组分B是一种或多种特殊效应的颜料。
本发明同样提供一些配制剂,如涂料,清漆,印刷油墨,塑料,农用膜和化妆品配制剂,它们包括本发明的颜料混合物。
带涂层的Al2O3薄片料能够与特殊效应的颜料按任何比例进行混合。组分A与组分B的比率优选是1∶10-10∶1,尤其3∶1-5∶1。
薄片形式的带涂层的氧化铝例如可从Merck KGaA以商品名Xirallic购得。
粒径大于10μm和纵横比(粒径/厚度)为5-10的六角形薄片形式的α-Al2O3可从JP111239/1982(公开特许)获知。
日本专利公告No.72527/1991公开了平均粒径为0.5-3μm的薄片状的α-Al2O3
JP39362/1992(公开特许)公开了六方晶系的扁平颗粒形式的Al2O3,垂直于C轴的平面生长成平板。
优选的Al2O3薄片是由氧化铝(作为主要组分)和氧化钛(作为次要组分)组成的薄片,可从US5 702 519中已知。这些Al2O3薄片是在含有碱金属盐如碱金属硫酸盐和磷酸或磷酸盐的水溶液存在下用碱金属碳酸盐水溶液水解,蒸发干燥(加热脱水)和熔融盐处理,而从水溶性铝盐和钛盐的均匀水溶液制备的。

本发明的颜料混合物是简单和容易处理的。通过简单地搅拌就可将本发明的颜料混合物引入到使用其的体系中。颜料的费力研磨和分散是没有必要的。
本发明的颜料混合物能够用于着色涂料,印刷油墨,塑料,农用膜,钮状浆料(button pastes),用于涂敷种子,用于食品的调色,用作药物或化妆品的涂层。颜料混合物在使用它来着色的体系中的浓度一般是在0.01-50重量%,优选在0.1-5重量%之间,基于体系的总固体含量。该浓度一般取决于具体的应用。
包括0.1-50重量%,尤其0.5-7重量%的本发明颜料混合物的塑料常常突出表现在特殊的闪光效果。
在涂料领域中,尤其在汽车修饰中,颜料混合物的用量是0.5-10重量%。带涂层的Al2O3薄片料与组分B,尤其带涂层的SiO2或带涂层的云母小片料混合的比例取决于所需效果。Al2O3薄片料优选与组分B按比例1∶10-10∶1、尤其3∶1来使用。
在涂料中,本发明的颜料混合物具有如下优点:所需颜色的随角异色效果是通过单层涂层获得的(一道涂层体系或两道涂层体系中的头道底漆)。这一随角异色效果甚至在漫射光下极其显著。与包括干涉颜料而不是Al2O3薄片的涂层相比,有本发明的颜料混合物的涂层显示出突出的色深度效果和闪光效果以及强烈的随角异色效果。

Claims (7)

1、含有至少两种组分的颜料混合物,组分A是涂有一种或多种金属、金属氧化物和/或金属硫化物的Al2O3薄片料和组分B是特殊效应的颜料。
2、根据权利要求1的颜料混合物,其特征在于组分A包括TiO2和/或Fe2O3涂敷过的Al2O3薄片料。
3、根据权利要求1或2的颜料混合物,其特征在于组分B包括涂有一种或多种金属氧化物的金属小片料,石墨小片料,铝小片料,层状硅酸盐,未涂敷或被一种或多种金属氧化物涂敷过的Fe2O3-,SiO2-或TiO2-片料,玻璃小片料和/或陶瓷小片料。
4、根据权利要求1-3中一项的颜料混合物,其特征在于组分A和组分B按照10∶1至1∶10的比例进行混合。
5、根据权利要求1的颜料混合物的用途,用于涂料,清漆,印刷油墨,粉末涂料,母料,塑料,用于着色种子,用于化妆品配制剂和用于调制食品。
6、含有根据权利要求1的颜料混合物的配制剂。
7、含有根据权利要求1的颜料混合物和粘结剂的颜料制备料,其特征在于它的形式是基本上无溶剂,自由流动式的颗粒料。
