Abstract
电子照相设备的一种显影单元,包括:一个显影辊,供用色剂将感光滚筒上形成的潜象显影;一个色剂供应辊,供将搅拌器搅拌过的色剂供应给显影辊;一个刮墨刀片,供调节淀积在显影辊上的色剂的厚度;一个清除辊,供潜象用淀积在显影辊上的色剂显影之后清除显影辊上残留的色剂;和一个清除电压充电器,供将清除辊充以极性与显影辊上残留的色剂相反的静电,从而使残留的色剂为清除辊所吸引,从显影辊上清除掉。
Description
本发明涉及装在象激光打印机,电子复印机、一般传真机、通用办公机械等之类的电子照相设备中的显影单元。
现在参看图1说明一般电子照相设备的显影单元。色剂24a在色剂槽20中经过搅拌和摩擦,带上静电压。带静电的色剂24a通过搅拌器34的转动传送给供应辊18。供应辊18转动,将色剂24a传送给显影辊16。沉积在显影辊16上的色剂24b借助于刮墨刀片14均匀调节到一定的厚度。
充电辊30感光或光电导滚筒12充电使其带负的静电压。感光滚筒根据电影象信号转动,暴露在发光装置32的光中。感光滚筒曝光的表面部分形成静电潜象,通过与显影辊16的接触电色剂进行显影。装在纸盒(图中未示出)中的纸张36由捡纸辊馈送给转印辊38以便将感光滚筒12上的色剂影象转印到纸张上,纸张通过定影部分的加热辊之间以便借助于热量和压力将色剂影象定影在纸上。
更具体地说,如图2中所示,显影辊16装在感光滚筒12的一侧,色剂供应辊18装在显影辊16的另一侧将搅拌器34搅拌过的色剂24a馈送给显影辊。刮墨刀片紧挨着显影辊16安装,调节着淀积在显影辊16的色剂24b的厚度。
色剂24a借助于色剂供应辊18的转动馈送给显影辊16。淀积在显影辊16的色剂24b由刮墨刀片调节成均匀的厚度。感光滚筒12转动,使静电潜象与显影辊16上形成的色剂层接触,从而使潜象显影。接着,残留在显影辊16上的色剂有一部分借助于色剂供应辊14的转动加以回收,但大部分残留的色剂24d仍然附在显影辊16表面。
在这种一般的显影单元中,印刷之后残留在显影辊上的色剂不断受到感光滚筒和刮墨刀片所施加压力的作用,使印刷的质量特别是在印刷大量纸张时或长时间不印刷之后变坏。此外,这还使淀积在显影辊上的色剂不均匀带电因而不可能得出高度清晰的印刷图象。
本发明的目的是提供电子照相设备的一种显影单元,该显影单元具有色剂去除装置供潜象在感光滚筒上显影之后去除残留在显影单元上的色剂从而得出高度清晰的印刷图象。
本发明的另一个目的是提供电子照相设备的一种具有将显影辊上去除下来的残留色剂与新供应的色剂混合的装置的显影单元。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种保持显影辊上的色剂均匀带静电的装置。
本发明还有一个目的,即提供电子照相设备的一种具有防止打印出的图象经过长时间打印操作之后变坏的装置的显影单元。
本发明的电子照相设备的显影单元包括:一个显影辊,供用色剂显影感光滚筒上形成的潜象;一个色剂供应辊,供将搅拌器搅拌过的色剂供应显影辊;一个刮墨刀片,供调节淀积在显影辊上的色剂的厚度;一个清除辊,供潜象用淀积在显影辊上的色剂显影之后清除残留在显影辊上的色剂;和一个清除电压充电顺,供将清除辊充以极性与显影辊上残留色剂的极性相反的静电,从而使残留的色剂为清除辊所吸引而从显影辊上清除掉。
现在参看附图更具体地举例说明本发明。附图中,同样的编号用以表示作用相同的元件。此外,对那些无助于理解本发明原理的一般部件这里不详细说明。
图1是一般电子照相设备总的结构的示意图。
图2是一般用于电子照相设备不带任何清除装置的显影单元的示意图。
图3是本发明配备有供清除显影辊上残留色剂的清除辊的显影单元的示意图。
参看图3。显影辊16装在感光滚筒12的一侧以便用带负电的色剂24c将感光滚筒12上形成的静电潜象进行显影。色剂供应辊18装在显影辊16的另一侧将搅拌器34搅拌过的色剂24a馈送给显影辊16。刮墨刀片14紧挨着显影辊16安装以调节淀积在显影辊16上色剂的厚度。
清除辊10装设得使其以一定的压力与显影辊16的底部接触以便潜象在感光滚筒12上用色剂显影之后将残留在显影辊16上的色剂24d清除掉。这是通过用清除电压充电器26施加的静电压给清除辊10充电进行的。加到清除辊10上的静电压的极性是正的,以便吸到引带负电的色剂24d。
工作时,色剂24a借助于色剂供辊18的转动馈送给显影辊16,色剂24b即在刮墨刀片14的调节下淀积成均匀的厚度。感光滚筒12顺时针转动,使滚筒上形成的潜象与显影辊16上的色剂层24c接触,借助于色剂显出影来。
这之后,残留在显影辊16上的色剂借助于清除辊10的顺时针转动清除掉,在色剂供应辊18下面与色剂槽20供来的新鲜色剂24a混合,如图3中所示。新鲜色剂24a与残留的色剂24d混合得出的色剂由色剂供应辊18馈送给显影辊16以便继续进行印刷。
这样,本发明的清除辊在显影工序之后从显影辊上清除残留的色剂,从而使馈送给显影辊的色剂始终是新鲜而均匀。因此,显影辊不断受到残留剂压力的情况消除了,从而即使长时间印刷也可以得出高度清晰的印刷图象。
Claims (2)
1.电子照相设备的一种显影单元,包括:一个显影辊,供用色剂将感应滚筒上形成的潜象进行显影;一个色剂供应辊,供将器搅拌过的色剂供应给所述显影辊;一个刮墨刀片,供调节淀积在所述显影辊上的色剂的厚度;一个清除辊,供用淀积在所述显影辊上的色剂将所述潜象显影之后清除所述显影辊上残留的色剂;和清除电压充电器,供给所述清除辊充以极性与所述显影辊上残留色剂的极性相反的静电,从而使所述残留的色剂为所述清除辊所吸引,从所述显影辊上清除掉。
2.如权利要求1所述的显影单元,其特征在于,所述清除辊以所述显影辊相反的方向转动,以一定的压力与所述显影辊接触。
