Abstract

Description
本发明涉及照明***,具体来说,这种***用于家用冰箱中。
传统的家用冰箱是用单一光源照明的,通常使用装在透明或半透明亮体中,位于冰箱一个内侧面上的传统白炽灯泡。这种光源在打开冰箱门时通过适当的电-机械开关开启。这种光源往往由于其在冰箱中的位置及灯泡瓦数不高而照明情况不佳。通过增加光源数目会降低冰箱性能并增加其成本。另外,冰箱内光源数目的这种增加也会增加消耗的总热能。这种热耗的增加在冰箱中产生不理想的温升,这必须通过增加冰箱效果来补偿。当使用瓦数较高的更强单一光源以代替增加光源数目时也会发生相同的情况。另外,由于从多个光源或较强的一个光源散发的热量,家用冰箱的连续照明,例如,冰箱装有可见到内容物的透明门的情况,也是不理想的。
EP-A-0549679公开了一种典型的关于照明边光显示***的现有技术,其可用于竖直安装的标志中。EP-A-05549679通过在边光照明的透明板的两相对表面上施加点阵而解决了边光***照明不均匀的问题。实际上,这些点在从透明板“传送”光线,点阵经调节使点的密度在整个板上变化以便使照明均匀。
令人惊奇的是,已经发现采用透明或半透明材料的边光板,在其上布置点阵以产生传光效果(light piping effect),可以显著改善家用冰箱的内部照明。由边光板提供的照明更均匀地分布在整个冰箱内。因此,与冰箱照明中使用的传统光源比较,使用瓦数减小的光源就可以照明冰箱。因此,本发明的另一个优点在于能够提供连续的照明而不会显著增加散热量。
因此,按照本发明的第一方面提供一种能够被内部照明的冰箱,其中,照明是通过基本透明材料的边光板提供的,边光板两相对表面中的至少一个在冰箱内部,在边光板上施加点阵以便产生向冰箱内的传光效果。
可以使用一个或多个边光板。
虽然边光板可以是冰箱的侧板,包括背板和顶板,但是边光板最好以架板存在,在其两个相对表面中的一个或者最好是两个上施加有点阵。
边光板最好是由丙烯酸类材料板例如帝国化学工业公司(ImperialChemical Industry plc.)出售的商品名称为Perspex的丙烯酸类材料板构成。这种板最好包括化学增亮剂,例如,Ciba Specialty Chemical(UK)Ltd.出售的商品名称为Ovitex B的光学增亮剂,以便改善板的透光度。
边光板的厚度一般小于15mm,最好在6mm至8mm的范围内。
在边光板的承载点阵的表面上最好施加透明或半透明的保护层,特别推荐将透明或半透明保护层直接施加在承载点阵的表面上。
在承载点阵的表面上最好施加光线漫射体,特别推荐的是这种光线漫射体也用作前述的保护层。一般来说,光线漫射体是由适当材料的板例如用作边光板如丙烯酸类材料板构成的,板厚最好达3mm。
当边光板是冰箱侧板时,反射层最好施加在与承载点阵的表面相对的表面上。反射层一般是由适当的材料板如白色或有色丙烯酸类材料板构成的,板厚最好达3mm。
在一个特别推荐的形式中,当边光板用作侧板时,边光板是包括光线漫射体及反射层的发光组件的一部分。
在本发明中,点阵用来提供现有技术中所讲的传统的漫射效果。
为了提供来自边光板的均匀的光线分布,被点所覆盖的表面比率最好随着与光源的距离的增加而增大。被点覆盖的表面比率(fraction)一般为靠近光源的0.05至离光源最远的0.15至0.55如0.16。虽然这种增大可以通过增加单位面积上的点数实现,但是,最好是通过增大点的直径实现,点阵在靠近光源处提供较小直径的点,而在远离光源处提供直径较大的点。一般来说靠近光源处的点的直径为大约0.3mm,而离光源最远处的点的直径为0.7mm。在特别推荐的一种点阵中,相邻点中心之间具有恒定的距离。
一般来说,点是白色的。但是也可使用非白色的点以达到美观的效果。
在本发明中可以使用单一光源,也可以使用两个或更多光源,特别是在板内要透射光线的距离下文中称为透射距离大的情况下。在透射距离大的情况下,两个或多个光源最好设置在边光板的相对边缘上。当透射距离在450至600mm范围内时一般可以使用单一光源。当透射距离在900至1200mm范围内时一般使用两个相对的光源。
现在对照以下附图进一步描述本发明。

在图10中,传统冰箱使用作为背板的边光板照明。照明光源与图8冰箱的光源强度相同。可以看到,甚至当与图9所用边光板相比较时照明效果在整个冰箱内分布得也更为均匀。
Claims (12)
1.一种内部能够被照明的冰箱,其中照明是由基本透明材料的边光板提供的,边光板的两个相对表面中的至少一个处于冰箱内,在其上施加点阵以产生向冰箱内的传光效果。
2.根据权利要求1所述的冰箱,其特征在于:边光板是冰箱的侧板。
3.根据权利要求2所述的冰箱,其特征在于:边光板是一个发光组件的一部分,该发光组件包括一个光线漫射体及一个反射层,光线漫射体施加在承载点阵的表面上,反射层施加在与承载点阵的表面相反的表面上。
4.根据权利要求1所述的冰箱,其特征在于:边光板是架板。
5.根据权利要求4所述的冰箱,其特征在于:边光板具有施加在两相对表面上的点阵。
6.根据权利要求1至5中任一项所述的冰箱,其特征在于:边光板是由丙烯酸类材料板构成的。
7.根据权利要求6所述的冰箱,其特征在于:丙烯酸类材料板包括光学增亮剂。
8.根据权利要求1至5中任一项所述的冰箱,其特征在于:在边光板的承载点阵的表面上,由点所覆盖的表面比率随着与光源的距离的增加而增大。
9.根据权利要求6所述的冰箱,其特征在于:在边光板的承载点阵的表面上,由点所覆盖的表面比率随着与光源的距离的增加而增大。
10.根据权利要求8所述的冰箱,其特征在于:由点所覆盖的表面比率在靠近光源处的0.05和在离光源最远处的0.15至0.55之间的范围内。
11.根据权利要求9所述的冰箱,其特征在于:由点所覆盖的表面比率在靠近光源处的0.05和在离光源最远处的0.15至0.55之间的范围内。
12.根据权利要求10或11所述的冰箱,其特征在于:由点所覆盖的表面比率的增大是通过增加点的直径而实现的。
