Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present application clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present application, and not all the embodiments. The components of the embodiments of the present application, generally described and illustrated in the figures herein, can be arranged and designed in a wide variety of different configurations. Thus, the following detailed description of the embodiments of the present application, presented in the accompanying drawings, is not intended to limit the scope of the claimed application, but is merely representative of selected embodiments of the application. Every other embodiment that can be obtained by a person skilled in the art without making creative efforts based on the embodiments of the present application falls within the protection scope of the present application.
First, an application scenario to which the present application is applicable will be described. The application can be applied to the technical field of games, and particularly in 3D games (such as large-escape type shooting games, chicken games and the like), the orientation of virtual characters in a game scene needs to be adjusted in real time in order to execute a certain game task or avoid escape in the game process, so that the virtual characters can face the direction of a destination to be reached, and move to the destination.
Research shows that at present, most of adjustment of virtual characters in games needs to slide a screen to enable the center direction of the screen to coincide with a target direction, so that the direction of a character is adjusted to the target direction, and when the direction is adjusted, the direction of the virtual character can be adjusted to the target direction only by repeatedly operating and adjusting, so that the adjustment precision of the direction of the virtual character is low, time and labor are consumed, and poor user experience is easily caused.
Based on this, the embodiment of the application provides a method for controlling a game character, which can display a selectable target control through operation on a direction indication control, and a player can adjust the orientation of a virtual character and a selected target object associated with the selected target control through the selectable target control, thereby saving direction adjustment time and being beneficial to improving the accuracy and efficiency of direction adjustment.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a method for controlling a game character according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 2, a method for controlling a game character provided in an embodiment of the present application includes:
s201, displaying a direction indication control on the upper portion of the graphical user interface, wherein the direction indication control is used for indicating the orientation of the virtual character in the game scene.
In this step, a direction indication control for prompting a direction is rendered and displayed in a graphical user interface of the terminal.
Here, the direction indication control displays at least one direction and at least one direction angle. The central position of the direction indication control is a reference point of the virtual character, the angle mark displayed in the direction indication control is the current direction of the virtual character, each direction angle in the direction indication control is set at equal angle intervals, and the specific display of the direction angles in the direction indication control can be set according to requirements.
For example, if the virtual character is currently at an angle in one of the south and southeast directions, then two directions "south" and "southeast" may be displayed in the direction prompt control; and based on the two directions of south and southeast, a plurality of direction angles are respectively arranged on two sides of the two directions of south and southeast according to a preset angle of 15 degrees.
Here, the direction indication control may display a position of a teammate character that is closest to the virtual character and belongs to the same team as the virtual character, and the direction indication control may be labeled with a label at a corresponding direction angle and display a distance between the teammate character and the virtual character next to the label.
Here, the direction indication control is disposed on the upper portion of the graphical user interface, and may be disposed right above the graphical user interface, so as to facilitate the user to adjust the direction of the virtual character according to the direction indication control.
Here, a small map, which is a thumbnail of the game scene, is also displayed in the graphical user interface rendered by the terminal, and the small map includes an indication mark corresponding to the virtual character, and the indication mark is used for indicating the position and/or orientation of the virtual character in the game scene and can change along with the movement and rotation of the virtual character.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating a display of a direction indication control, as shown in fig. 3, a direction indication control 301 is displayed right above a graphical user interface 300, a direction control 3011 and a direction angle control 3012 are displayed on the direction indication control 301, as shown in fig. 3, the direction control 3011 includes a direction identifier "southeast" and a direction "south"; the direction angle control 3012 includes a plurality of direction angle identifiers divided every 15 ° from 105 ° to 210 °. Meanwhile, a directional arrow 302 is displayed in the direction indication control 301 to identify the operation direction of the direction indication control 301, when the direction indication control is operated according to the direction indicated by the arrow 302, a plurality of turning controls are displayed on the graphical user interface 300, meanwhile, as shown in fig. 3, a tree 304 and a house 305 are displayed on the roadside of the direction in which the virtual character 303 is currently oriented, and as shown in fig. 3, in the graphical user interface 300, a small map 306 is further included, and as shown in the small map 306, an indication mark 3061 corresponding to the virtual character 303 is included, and the indication mark 3061 indicates the position and/or the current orientation of the virtual character 303 in the game scene.
S202, responding to a first touch operation acting on the orientation adjusting area, adjusting the orientation of the virtual character in the game scene, and synchronously adjusting the orientation indicated in the direction indication control.
In the step, in response to a first touch operation acting on an orientation adjustment area of the graphical user interface, the orientation of the virtual character in the game scene is adjusted, and simultaneously, the orientation indicated in the direction indication control is synchronously adjusted, so that the orientation indicated in the direction indication control is consistent with the current orientation of the virtual character.
Here, when the first touch operation directed to the adjustment area is to adjust the direction in which the virtual character has no specific target object, the direction of the virtual character is roughly adjusted, for example, when the direction of the virtual character is southwest and the target to which the virtual character intends to be directed is northeast, the direction adjustment area may be adjusted first so that the virtual character is directed northeast first.
S203, responding to a second touch operation acting on the direction indication control, and displaying at least one selectable target control, wherein the selectable target control corresponds to a selectable target object in the game scene.
In this step, at least one selectable target control is displayed on the graphical user interface in response to a second touch operation acting on the direction indication control.
The selectable target control corresponds to a selectable target object in the game scene.
Here, the selectable target object may be at least one teammate character included in the game scene in the same team as the virtual character; but also at least one enemy character of another team having an antagonistic relationship with the virtual character; but also special scenes in the game task, such as a new village, a safe area and the like.
Here, the second touch operation applied to the direction indication control may be at least one of a click operation, a slide operation, and a long-press operation, and the operation when the selectable target control is called out is different from the direction adjustment operation over the direction indication control in the related art.
For example, at present, the touch operation on the direction adjustment control is a left-right sliding operation on the direction indication control, and then the sliding operation mode for calling out the selectable target control in the present application may be a top-to-bottom sliding operation.
Here, after responding to the second touch operation on the direction indication control, displaying the selectable target control, which may be directly displaying the selectable target control on the graphical user interface after determining that the second touch operation is received; and after the second touch operation is determined to be received, the selectable target control has the upper part of the graphical user interface to slide out for display.
And if interruption occurs in the process of the second touch operation, the selectable target control rebounds to hide and display.
Here, the position where the selectable target control is displayed is at a position adjacent to the direction indication control, where the adjacent position may be where a plurality of selectable target controls are displayed immediately below the direction indication control, or may be where a plurality of selectable target controls are displayed in an original orientation adjustment region (the region includes the direction indication control, and may be a rectangular region).
Here, when the selectable target control is displayed, the identification information corresponding to each selectable target object is displayed on the selectable target control.
For example, each selectable target object is a plurality of teammate characters belonging to the same team as the virtual character, and the numbered association of each teammate may be displayed on the associated selectable target control.
Here, when associating the selectable target object with the selectable target control, in addition to associating the identification information of the selectable target object with the selectable target control, it is also necessary to associate the position information of the selectable target object with the selectable target control.
The position information includes the direction of the selectable target object relative to the virtual character and the distance between the selectable target object and the virtual character, and the distance between each selectable target object and the virtual character can be displayed at a corresponding preset position of the selectable target control, for example, below the selectable target control.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic diagram illustrating selectable target controls, as shown in fig. 4, after it is determined that a second touch operation is received, a plurality of selectable target controls are displayed below a direction indication control 301, where the plurality of selectable target controls are respectively selectable target controls associated with teammate characters in the same team as the virtual character, and selectable target controls associated with a safety zone in the game scene, and in order of the teammate numbers from small to large, a selectable target control 307 No. 1 associated with a teammate character 1, a selectable target control 308 No. 2 associated with a teammate character 2, a selectable target control 309 in the safety zone, a selectable target control No. 3 associated with a teammate character 3, and a selectable target control 311 No. 4 associated with a teammate character 4 are distributed on the graphical user interface from left to right, and at the same time, a selectable target pair associated with the selectable target control is further marked under each selectable target control Such as distance information from the current position of the virtual character 303.
S204, responding to a third touch operation, determining a selected target control from the selectable target controls, and controlling the virtual role to face a selected target object associated with the selected target control.
In this step, in response to a third touch operation that acts on the plurality of selectable target controls, a selected target object associated with the selected target control is determined, and the virtual character is further controlled to move toward the selected target object associated with the selected target control.
Here, the third touch operation applied to the selectable target control may be at least one of a click operation, a slide operation, and a long-press operation.
Here, the manner of determining the selected target control from the plurality of selectable target controls may be: and determining the selected target control according to the termination position or the operation position of the third touch operation.
For example, regarding the termination position, taking the third touch operation as a sliding operation as an example, determining the termination position of the sliding track, that is, the position of the finger lifted by the user when the user performs the sliding operation, detecting that the position of the termination position coincides with the area where the position of which selectable target control is located, determining the determined selectable target control as a selected target control, and determining that the selected target control receives the third touch operation; regarding the operation position, taking the third touch operation as a click operation as an example, for each selectable target control, determining that the corresponding click position acts on the selectable target control as a selected target control, and determining that the selected target control receives the third touch operation.
Here, the controlling the virtual character to rotate towards the selected target object associated with the selected target control may be rotating the virtual character, that is, changing the orientation of the virtual character, and further controlling the virtual character to move towards the selected target object associated with the selected target control; the visual angle of the virtual character can also be adjusted, the direction of the virtual character is not changed, the visual angle of the virtual character is adjusted to the direction of the selected target object, and for the operation of adjusting the visual angle of the virtual character, after the third touch operation is finished (the user can lift the finger), the visual angle is automatically adjusted back to the visual angle of the virtual character before adjustment.
Referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a schematic diagram illustrating a selected target control determination process, as shown in fig. 5, when a distress signal of teammate character No. 2 is received, the finger 312 slides on the plurality of selectable target controls, and when it is determined that the finger 312 stays at the selectable target control No. 2 308 associated with teammate character No. 2, the selectable target control No. 2 associated with teammate character No. 2 is determined as the selected target control, and the virtual character 303 turns to face the position of the teammate character No. 2.
When the second touch operation and the third touch operation are both sliding operations, the second touch operation and the third touch operation are the same sliding operation, and the same sliding operation refers to that the second touch operation and the third touch operation lift hands simultaneously, that is, in the operation process, the starting position of the sliding track of the sliding operation is a direction indication control, the ending position of the sliding track of the sliding operation is a selected target control, after the second touch operation is executed on the direction indication control, the hands are not lifted, the selected target control is directly selected from a plurality of selectable target controls, and after the selection of the selected target control is completed, the hands are lifted again, and the sliding operation is ended.
According to the control method of the game role, the direction indication control is displayed on the upper portion of the graphical user interface and used for indicating the orientation of the virtual role in the game scene; responding to a first touch operation acting on the orientation adjusting area, adjusting the orientation of the virtual character in the game scene, and synchronously adjusting the orientation indicated in the direction indication control; responding to a second touch operation acting on a direction indication control, and displaying at least one selectable target control, wherein the selectable target control corresponds to a selectable target object in the game scene; and responding to a third touch operation, determining a selected target control from the selectable target controls, and controlling the virtual character to face a selected target object associated with the selected target control.
In this way, a direction indication control is displayed on the upper portion of the graphical user interface, the direction of the virtual character in the game scene is adjusted in response to the first touch operation in the direction adjustment area, the direction indicated in the direction indication control is synchronously adjusted, at least one selectable target control is displayed in response to the second touch operation acting on the direction indication control, a selected target control is determined from the displayed at least one selectable target control in response to the third touch operation, the virtual character is controlled to face the selected target object associated with the selected target control, and therefore the operation process is effectively simplified, the operation time is saved, the accuracy of virtual character direction adjustment is improved, the direction adjustment time is saved, and the direction adjustment efficiency is improved.
Referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 is a flowchart of a method for controlling a game character according to another embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 6, a method for controlling a game character provided in an embodiment of the present application includes:
s601, displaying a direction indication control on the upper portion of the graphical user interface, wherein the direction indication control is used for indicating the orientation of the virtual character in the game scene.
S602, responding to a first touch operation acting on the orientation adjusting area, adjusting the orientation of the virtual character in the game scene, and synchronously adjusting the orientation indicated in the direction indication control.
S603, responding to a second touch operation acting on the direction indication control, and displaying at least one selectable target control, wherein the selectable target control corresponds to a selectable target object in the game scene.
S604, responding to a third touch operation, determining a selected target control from the selectable target controls, and controlling the virtual role to face a selected target object associated with the selected target control.
S605, hiding the at least one selectable target control.
In this step, after the virtual character is oriented toward the selected target object associated with the selected target control, the displayed at least one selectable target control is hidden.
Here, after determining that the virtual character rotates to the selected target object associated with the selected target control, the displayed at least one selectable target control needs to be hidden.
The hiding mode of the at least one selectable target control corresponds to the display mode of the at least one selectable target control, namely if the display mode of the at least one selectable target control slides out from the upper part of the graphical user interface, the hiding mode slides upwards from the current display position when the at least one selectable target control is retracted; if the at least one selectable target control is displayed in a manner that the at least one selectable target control is directly displayed on the graphical user interface, the at least one selectable target control is also directly hidden when the at least one selectable target control is retracted.
Here, after hiding the at least one selectable target control, the position identification of the selected target object to which the virtual character is turned may be displayed in a position adjacent to the direction indicator prompting control to prompt a target position toward which the virtual character is oriented.
For example, if the turning position corresponding to the target control selected by the third touch operation is the position of the teammate No. 2 who is in the same team as the virtual character, the identifier "2" of the teammate No. 2 may be displayed at a position adjacent to the direction indication control.
Referring to fig. 7, fig. 7 is a schematic view of a game scene after the virtual character 303 turns, as shown in fig. 7, after the virtual character 303 turns, the selectable target control is hidden, and only the position adjacent to the direction indication control 301 is displayed with the selectable target control No. 2 associated with the teammate character 2, so as to identify that the virtual character 303 is facing the position of the teammate character No. 2, a plurality of trees 304 are displayed at the roadside in the direction in which the virtual character 303 faces, and the direction control 3011 and the direction angle control 3012 displayed on the direction indication control 301 are changed, as shown in fig. 7, the direction indication control 301 now displays the direction of the teammate character 2 of the virtual character, and the direction control 3011 includes direction identifications "northeast" and direction "north"; direction angle control 3012 includes degrees 75 to 330 degrees, with 15 degrees between each two degrees.
The descriptions of S604 to S605 refer to the descriptions of S202 to S203, and the same technical effects can be achieved, which are not described in detail.
In one possible implementation, before the response acts on the second touch operation of the direction indication control, the control method includes: screening a plurality of selectable target objects from a plurality of game target objects located in the game scene and corresponding to each game event; after at least one selectable target control is displayed, the selectable target control corresponds to selectable target objects in the game scene, and each selectable target object is associated with each selectable target control based on the distance between each selectable target object and the position of the virtual character or the serial number identification corresponding to each selectable target object and the arrangement sequence of each selectable target control.
In the step, a plurality of selectable target objects are screened out from a plurality of game target objects corresponding to each game event in a game scene in which the virtual character is located, and after at least one selectable target control is displayed, each selectable target object is associated with each selectable target control according to the distance between each screened selectable target object and the virtual character, or the serial number identification corresponding to each selectable target object, and the arrangement sequence of each selectable target control.
Here, in a game scenario, a plurality of game target objects may be included according to different game events, and target objects to which a plurality of virtual characters may move are screened from a plurality of positions according to a game task to be executed by the virtual character or a team in which the virtual character is located, and are determined as selectable target objects.
Here, when a plurality of selectable target controls are displayed, each selectable target control needs to be associated with each selectable target object, so as to ensure that when the selected target control is determined, the selected target object can be quickly determined, and further, the rotation direction of the virtual character is controlled.
When the selectable target object is associated with the selectable target control, the identification information of the selectable target object, the distance between the turning position and the virtual character, and the direction angle of the selectable target object relative to the virtual character are all associated with the corresponding selectable target control.
Here, for the association between each selectable target object and each selectable target control, the association may be sequentially performed with the selectable target controls according to a sequence from near to far of the distance between the selectable target object and the virtual character, so that the virtual character may determine the distance between each selectable target object and itself according to the position of the selectable target control, and further determine the selectable target object closest to (far from) the position of the selectable target control, thereby determining that the steering direction is given; the selectable target objects may also be sequentially associated with the selectable target controls according to a descending order of the sequence numbers of the selectable target objects indicated by the sequence number identifiers corresponding to each selectable target object, for example, taking the selectable target object as a teammate role which is in the same team as the virtual role, for example, teammate roles 1 to 4 which belong to the same team as the virtual role may be associated from the teammate roles 1 to 4 when the selectable target controls are associated.
In one possible embodiment, the selectable target object is determined by: when the virtual character receives a teammate command, determining at least one teammate character which belongs to the same team as the virtual character; and determining the determined at least one role as at least one selectable target object.
In this step, when the virtual character receives a teammate command, it is determined that the virtual character needs to move in the direction of the teammate, at this time, it is determined that at least one teammate character belonging to the same team as the virtual character in the game map, and each teammate character is a selectable target object.
When the call instruction of the teammates is received, each teammate character is a selectable target object, the assembly position in the call instruction and the like can be determined as the selectable target object and displayed, and the virtual character can be selected to move towards the teammates or directly move to the assembly position; when a distress instruction is received, the distress position can be directly obtained from the distress instruction, and the distress position is determined as a selectable target object.
In one possible embodiment, the selectable target object is determined by: determining a plurality of action tracks of the virtual character in a game scene based on a plurality of preset game events; determining a plurality of track positions on each action track; for each track position, at least one selectable target object corresponding to the track position is determined based on the position information of the track position.
In the step, a plurality of game events are determined according to a plurality of preset game events, a plurality of action tracks of the virtual character advancing in the game scene are determined according to each game event, a plurality of track positions on each action track are determined, and at least one selectable target object corresponding to each track position is determined according to the position information of the track position.
Here, each position information for each track position may include a distance between the track position and the virtual character, a direction angle of the track position with respect to the virtual character, and the like.
For example, a plurality of tracks may pass through one track position, and the distance or the angle of the track position relative to the virtual character may be changed, so that a plurality of selectable target objects may be determined according to different distances and angles.
Here, the game event may be an event such as a task that the virtual character needs to perform, and when each game event is performed, the virtual character may correspond to one or more action tracks, and a representative track position needs to be selected from each of the tracks included in the action tracks to be determined as the selectable target object.
For example, the trajectory position may be an end position of the action trajectory (a safety zone, etc.), or a position in the trajectory that is helpful for the virtual character to perform a task (a position with a game item, etc.).
Here, in addition to determining the position where the virtual character may go as a selectable target object, a position (danger area) where the virtual character has a small probability of reaching in the game scene may also be marked to prompt the virtual character to be far away from the area.
According to the control method of the game role, the direction indication control is displayed on the upper portion of the graphical user interface and used for indicating the orientation of the virtual role in the game scene; responding to a first touch operation acting on the orientation adjusting area, adjusting the orientation of the virtual character in the game scene, and synchronously adjusting the orientation indicated in the direction indication control; responding to a second touch operation acting on a direction indication control, and displaying at least one selectable target control, wherein the selectable target control corresponds to a selectable target object in the game scene; responding to a third touch operation, determining a selected target control from the selectable target controls, and controlling the virtual character to face a selected target object associated with the selected target control; hiding the at least one selectable target control.
In this way, a direction indication control is displayed on the upper part of the graphical user interface, the orientation of the virtual character in the game scene is adjusted in response to the first touch operation in the orientation adjustment area, the orientation indicated in the direction indication control is synchronously adjusted, at least one selectable target control is displayed in response to the second touch operation acting on the direction indication control, a selected target control is determined from the displayed at least one selectable target control in response to the third touch operation, the virtual character is controlled to face the selected target object associated with the selected target control, so that the operation process is effectively simplified, the operation time is saved, the accuracy of the direction adjustment of the virtual character is improved, the direction adjustment time is saved, the efficiency of the direction adjustment is improved, and the at least one selectable target control is hidden after the virtual character is determined to face the selected target object, therefore, the operation process is effectively simplified, the operation time is saved, the accuracy of virtual character direction adjustment is improved, the direction adjustment time is saved, and the direction adjustment efficiency is improved.
