Abstract

Description

本发明涉及一种器具,它具有一个外壳,该外壳至少是部分防水的且具有一个其上固定有一合成树脂嵌板的合成树脂壁部,在嵌板和壁部之间设有一个由导电材料制成的并呈封闭环状的部件,嵌板是在射频焊接过程中通过所述部件而被固定在壁部上的。
从美国专利US-A-4801343可知一种用于制造一个合成箱体的方法,该箱体具有两个半部,该半部通过其竖直壁相连。与该壁的表面的配合形成一个封闭的环。将一个导线***在所述壁的连接表面之间,并且通过向导线施加高频热来将连接表面加以焊接。
人们通常希望外壳壁部设有嵌板。这样的嵌板具有装饰作用,但也具有专门功能。
已经知道存在各种方式来将这样的嵌板固定在外壳壁部上,例如采用螺纹连接和卡合连接。如果将嵌板安装在壁部外侧上,以上方法没有产生吸引人注意的外观。卡合结构部实际上常造成间隙,从而嵌板将略微松动。在这种情况下,胶粘是一种更好的方式。尽管目前存在着令人满意的胶类产品,但从长远的角度出发,它们不耐化学物质如添加剂(洗涤液)。另一种固定方式就是超声波焊。在这里,通过工具对其中一个部件施加振动力。这通常造成壁面损坏,而这样的损坏在外观上是不可接受的。另外在超声波焊的情况下,材料选择也是有限的,尤其是在材料性能方面。
如果外壳的合成树脂壁部设有一个孔并且外壳为了清理的目的而必须是防水的,则该孔必须也被防水地密封住。为孔设置嵌板使之防水的最常见方法就是通过在嵌板与壁部之间设置弹性密封件。接着,必须例如利用螺钉使这些部件彼此固定在一起。原则上讲,这是一个好的方法,但实际上我们发现,密封件可能在长期使用后或因化学物质作用而失去弹性并因此丧失了其密封效果。目前,密封件是在注塑过程中与一个合成树脂件一体地注塑而成的。如果要给至少一个部件上漆,则这导致了另一个问题。上漆过程必须是在将电子器件或机械器件固定在外壳壁上或外壳壁内之前进行的。但是,不可能在涂有漆的部件上注塑形成密封件。如上所述,胶粘和超声波焊也具有其各自的缺点。通过感应焊获得的连接提供了非常可靠的密封效果。
本发明的目的是提供一种其中合成树脂嵌板通过可靠且外观可接受的方式被固定在外壳的合成树脂壁部上的器具。
为此,本发明的特点在于,壁部具有至少一个用于容纳一开关的孔,而嵌板设置在所述孔上并且由导电材料制成的部件包围住所述孔,嵌板具有一个被一片膜封闭住的孔,所述膜设有一个致动件,该致动件位于所述用于开关的孔中。
在也被称为感应焊的RF焊接(射频焊接)过程中,靠近部件产生了电磁场,从而感应电流将流过部件。部件的欧姆电阻在其中产生了热,这将熔化部件附近的合成树脂部,而由此将这些部件熔合在一起并且在冷却时被焊接起来。熔化发生在深度较浅的范围内,从而在合成树脂嵌板的表面上看不到变形。我们还发现,该方法产生了嵌板与壁部的牢固连接,这种连接从外表上看是可以接受的并且是防水的且尤其是防化学液的。该方法的另一个优点是,部件不必是平面状的,它也可以成弯曲形状,这适应于嵌板与壁部的形状。这为设计者提供了相当宽的设计自由度。
一个实施例的特点是,壁部设有两个孔,一个孔用于显示器,而另一个孔用于开关,这两个孔都在壁部内侧上被所述嵌板覆盖住,而嵌板设有一个由透明材料制成的且位于显示器孔前方的窗口。
另一个实施例的特点是,设有第二嵌板,它也是在RF焊接过程中通过一个由导电材料制成的且呈封闭环状的部件而被固定在壁部外侧上的,所述嵌板具有一个由柔性材料制成的且位于膜的对面的操作面,该膜带有上述嵌板的致动件,该嵌板覆盖着在壁部中的位于开关前面的孔。

电动剃须刀具有一个带有合成树脂壁部2的外壳1,在所述壁部中开设了一个孔3而使之具有显示功能。通过合成树脂嵌板4封闭所述孔,所述嵌板固定在壁部2的内侧5上。嵌板4为此设有一条周向槽6,而壁部内表面设有一道与槽6配合的突起壁7。突起壁和槽一起环绕着所述孔3。在槽6与突起壁7之间,设有一个由导电材料制成的部件8,它的形状呈对应于槽6底部形状的封闭环状。部件8最好由黄铜制成,因为黄铜具有适当的电阻。但显然,其它材料也是可行的。在电磁场靠近槽6起作用时,电流将流过该部件,由此引发熔化该槽6的合成树脂部和突起壁7的发热现象,这些部件将在除去电磁场后通过冷却而被焊合。部件8仍然固定在其连接位置上。因此,嵌板4以防水方式封闭了孔3。在此实施例中,孔被设计成用于容纳显示器。嵌板4为此设有一个由透明材料制成的窗口9。在该窗口后,设有一个电子部件如LCD10。壁部2还开设有被设计用于容放开关的第二孔11。覆盖嵌板4也覆盖住该孔11,即在嵌板4的槽6与壁部2的突起壁7之间的导电部件8也包围住孔11。嵌板4设有一个孔12,该孔12用于安放一个被膜13防水密封住的开关。一个致动件14位于膜的中心内,借助该致动件,操作开关15以便启动/关闭该器具。致动件14可以在注塑过程中以合成树脂柔性薄条16的形式与合成树脂嵌板4注塑在一起。致动件穿过孔12。孔12在壁部2的外侧17被第二嵌板18覆盖住,所述第二嵌板也在RF焊接过程中被固定在壁部2上。为此,一个由导电材料制成的并呈封闭环状的部件19被安放在嵌板18与壁部2的外侧17之间。嵌板18包括两层,即例如由与壁部2同类的合成树脂构成的第一层20以及由柔性合成树脂构成的第二层21。第一层20具有一个在孔11区域内被柔性第二层21覆盖住的孔22。致动件14紧接在柔性层21的后面。因此,这个柔性层部分起到了操作表面23的作用。对柔性操作表面施加压力会下压致动件,而致动件又启动了开关15。嵌板18同时起到了装饰嵌板的作用。当抓握该器具时,柔性层21还提供了一个安全把手。
在图4所示的第二实施例中,膜13伸入壁部2的孔11中并且与用于开关15的操作面23形成了一个整体。第二嵌板18在这里只有装饰作用并且因设有柔性层21而具有提供安全把手的作用。
也被称为感应焊的RF焊接工艺是在低频率下发生的,即在大约40千赫的条件下发生的。镍或黄铜被用作部件8、19的制作材料。
显然,本发明可被用于其它必须防水的器具如牙刷或炊具中。
部件8、19不必位于一个平面内,而是还可以具有弯曲形状,如部件19可具有弯曲形状。对设计者来说,这就意味着可以更自由地选择各部分的形状。部件结构简单并且是廉价的冲压产品。在冲压后剩下了许多废料,但是很容易就可以回收利用这些废料。

Claims (5)
