背景技术
壁纸,也称为墙纸,它是一种应用相当广泛的室内装饰材料。壁纸分为很多类,如涂布壁纸、覆膜壁纸、压花壁纸等。通常用漂白化学木浆生产原纸,再经不同工序的加工处理,如涂布、印刷、压纹或表面覆塑,最后经裁切、包装后出厂。因为具有一定的强度、美观的外表和良好的抗水性能,广泛用于住宅、办公室、宾馆的室内装修等。
羧基丁苯胶乳用于纸张和纸板涂布行业所需的全系列胶乳,适用于装饰原纸、耐磨纸、壁纸等各种纸张的底、面涂布与粘合。羧基丁苯胶乳可赋予纸张优秀的涂布性能及印刷适性。使得涂布层不脱落、表面强度高,印刷效率高、可提高印刷速度,不产生烫泡,可立即重合。因为丁二烯具有较低的玻璃化温度-106℃,在胶乳合成中,丁二烯作为软单体,只需要较少的量就能达到和其他胶乳相同的性能,另一方面,硬单体的比例提高了,有助于提升胶乳整体的强度。再一方面,羧酸类单体的加入使得胶乳粒子的电荷层密度增加,从而提高胶乳的稳定性。羧基丁苯胶乳所具有的这些优秀的特性是其它胶乳无可比拟的,在提高生产效率、降低成本的同时,能够提高纸张的性能和质量。目前常规的羧基丁苯胶乳应用于壁纸浸胶,强度粘结力和抗水性能仍有进一步提升的需要。

本发明是通过如下的技术方案实现的:
一种壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳的制备方法,包括如下步骤:将羧酸单体、(甲基)苯乙烯、丁二烯、交联单体、硅烷、乳化剂、引发剂和水的混合物经自由基乳液共聚而成。
进一步的,上述反应温度为70-90℃,反应时间为2-6小时,升温至80-90℃保温2小时,将反应产物用碱性物质调节PH=5-9,经过过滤后,获得所述壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳。

作为优选的技术方案,所述碱性物质可以是碱金属的氢氧化物。
本发明还提供采用上述方法制备的壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳,其优选的重量百分含量为20-50%。
本发明还提供上述壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳在壁纸制造中的应用,是作为用于壁纸生产过程中的浸胶组合物。
本发明人发现在本发明中使用的羧酸类单体、丁二烯单体及少量交联单体、硅氧烷,出乎意料的,应用于壁纸的浸胶中,壁纸的强度较高,同时壁纸的抗水性较强。这可能是由于胶乳中羧基的亲水性赋予了与纸张较强的结合力,丁二烯能赋予胶乳优秀的粘结力,另一方面,胶乳中的交联单体、硅氧烷在乳液干燥过程中使得胶乳呈热固性,再一方面,硅氧烷赋予胶乳粒子优异的耐水性能,上述三者的协同作用,表现为壁纸的强度及抗水性能的综合提升。
本发明的一种壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳是一种能满足壁纸生产的高性能、环保的产品。该产品在壁纸的生产中使用,使壁纸具有高强度及良好的耐水性。而且粘结力良好,使得壁纸不卷翘,保持平整。
具体实施方式
下面通过具体实施例对本发明进行阐述,但并不限制本发明。
实施例1:
壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳的制备,包括如下组分及其重量份数:
将0.8份烯丙基聚氧乙烯醚硫酸铵,0.8份过硫酸钠,179.15份蒸馏水,完全溶解成水溶液。聚合釜抽真空后,加入上述完全溶解的水溶液,进行搅拌加热,加热温度70℃,进行聚合反应。滴加加入75份丁二烯、100份甲基苯乙烯、0.8份甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯、1.5份丙烯酸、0.5份乙烯基三乙氧基硅烷的混和单体,滴加时间为6小时,升温至90℃保温2小时。冷却至30℃,用1.25份40wt%氢氧化钠水溶液中和,经过200目筛网过滤,得到壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳,固含量为49.91wt%,PH=5.20(使用PHS-3C精密PH计测得)。
实施例2
壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳的制备,包括如下组分及其重量份数:
将5份烯丙基聚氧乙烯醚硫酸铵和3份乙烯基聚氧乙烯醚,3份过硫酸铵和2份过硫酸钠,4份衣康酸,1042份蒸馏水,完全溶解成水溶液。聚合釜抽真空后,加入上述完全溶解的水溶液,进行搅拌加热,加热温度90℃,进行聚合反应。滴加加入130份丁二烯、100份苯乙烯、2份甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯和1.5份丙烯酸羟乙酯、5份甲基丙烯酸、3份乙烯基三异丙氧基硅烷和2份乙烯基三乙氧基硅烷的混和单体,滴加时间为2小时,90℃保温2小时。冷却至30℃,用25份20wt%氢氧化钠水溶液中和,经过200目筛网过滤,得到壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳,固含量为20.05wt%,PH=8.96(使用PHS-3C精密PH计测得)。
实施例3
壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳的制备,包括如下组分及其重量份数:
将4.5份烯丙基聚氧乙烯醚,3份过硫酸钾,富马酸2.5份和2.5份衣康酸,411.67份蒸馏水,完全溶解成水溶液。聚合釜抽真空后,加入上述完全溶解的水溶液,进行搅拌加热,加热温度75℃,进行聚合反应。滴加加入105份丁二烯、80份苯乙烯和20份甲基苯乙烯、2.2份丙烯酸羟丙酯、2.5份乙烯基环四硅氧烷的混和单体,滴加时间为4小时,90℃保温2小时。冷却至30℃,用6.7份30wt%氢氧化钠水溶液中和,经过200目筛网过滤,得到壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳,固含量为35.02wt%,PH=7.58(使用PHS-3C精密PH计测得)。
实施例4
壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳的制备,包括如下组分及其重量份数:
将5份乙烯基聚氧乙烯醚,2.5份过硫酸铵,马来酸2.5份、衣康酸2.5份和306份蒸馏水,完全溶解成水溶液。聚合釜抽真空后,加入上述完全溶解的水溶液,进行搅拌加热,加热温度80℃,进行聚合反应。滴加加入100份丁二烯、70份苯乙烯、30份甲基苯乙烯、1份丙烯酸、2.5份丙烯酸羟乙酯,3份乙烯基环四硅氧烷的混和单体,滴加时间为4小时,80℃保温2小时。冷却至30℃,用30份10wt%氢氧化钠水溶液中和,经过200目筛网过滤,得到壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳,固含量为40.06wt%,PH=8.32(使用PHS-3C精密PH计测得)。
实施例5
壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳的制备,包括如下组分及其重量份数:
将4份乙烯基聚氧乙烯醚和2.5份烯丙基聚氧乙烯醚硫酸铵,2份过硫酸铵和2份过硫酸钾,2.5份衣康酸和558.3份蒸馏水,完全溶解成水溶液。聚合釜抽真空后,加入上述完全溶解的水溶液,进行搅拌加热,加热温度85℃,进行聚合反应。滴加加入120份丁二烯、100份苯乙烯、3份丙烯酸、2份甲基丙烯酸、3份甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯,3份乙烯基三异丙氧基硅烷和1份乙烯基环四硅氧烷的混和单体,滴加时间为3小时,85℃保温2小时。冷却至30℃,用26.7份15wt%氢氧化钠水溶液中和,经过200目筛网过滤,得到壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳,固含量为29.82wt%,PH=7.12(使用PHS-3C精密PH计测得)。
应用实施例
以市售壁纸胶乳S825为对比例,与实施例1-5按下述工艺进行操作:
A、将实施例1-5和对比例分别稀释成重量固含量20%,将原纸浸泡式涂在基纸上,105℃烘10分钟,烘干后检测指标。
B、检测抗张强度。
C、抗水性(Cobb值):采用杭州轻通博科自动化技术有限公司的XSH型可勃吸收性测定仪按GB/T 1540-1989方法检测待测壁纸样品。
判定标准:强度越大表明壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳的增强效果越好。Cobb值越小效果越好。其结果见表1所示:

从表中应用结果可以看出,使用本发明制备的壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳,对壁纸的增强效果及耐水性具有意想不到的效果。

Claims (10)
1.一种壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳的制备方法,其特征在于,包括如下步骤:将羧酸单体、(甲基)苯乙烯、丁二烯、交联单体、硅烷、乳化剂、引发剂和水的混合物经自由基乳液共聚而成。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述自由基乳液共聚的反应温度为70-90℃,反应时间为2-6小时,升温至80-90℃保温2小时,将反应产物用碱性物质调节PH=5-9,经过过滤后,获得所述壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,各组分的重量份数如下:
4.如权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,水的用量为178-1045份。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述羧酸单体选自丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、马来酸、富马酸或衣康酸中的一种或一种以上;所述交联单体选自甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯、丙烯酸羟乙酯和丙烯酸羟丙酯中的一种或一种以上。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述乳化剂选自烯丙基聚氧乙烯醚硫酸铵、烯丙基聚氧乙烯醚和乙烯基聚氧乙烯醚中的一种或一种以上;所述引发剂选自过硫酸钠、过硫酸铵和过硫酸钾中的一种或一种以上。
7.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述硅烷选自乙烯基三异丙氧基硅烷、乙烯基环四硅氧烷和乙烯基三乙氧基硅烷中的一种或一种以上。
8.如权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,所述碱性物质是碱金属的氢氧化物。
9.根据权利要求1-8任一项方法制备的壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳。
10.权利要求9所述的壁纸用羧基丁苯胶乳在壁纸制造中的应用,其特征在于,用于壁纸生产过程中的浸胶组合物。
