Detailed Description
The illustrated embodiment is described in detail below with reference to the drawings of fig. 1 to 8.
Fig. 1 to 3 (a) and 3 (b) each show a front body of an automobile as a vehicle, and a front face of the body 1 is provided with a windshield 2 serving as a front glass. A cowl portion 3 is provided in a vehicle width direction on a lower portion side of the windshield 2, and a cowl panel 6 that partitions an engine room 4 from a vehicle compartment 5 is provided below the cowl portion 3. The cowl portion 3 is formed into a closed cross-sectional structure by a cowl top 7 on a lower side of the windshield 2, a cowl front (not shown) that partitions a front side of the cowl top 7 by a fixed width on an upper side of the engine room 4, and a cowl garnish 8 that is a resin member.
The cowl garnish 8 is provided so as to block a groove having a U-shaped cross section formed by a cowl front panel (not shown) and the cowl top panel 7, a wall portion 8a in the vehicle width direction is formed by raising a rear end portion of the cowl garnish 8 upward, and a seal member 9 that is in contact with the windshield 2 is attached to a distal end portion 8b of the wall portion 8 a. An L-shaped holding portion 10 that holds the lower end portion of the windshield 2 is provided on the rear surface of a wall portion 8a that rises from the rear end portion of the cowl top garnish 8. The lower surface of the holding portion 10 is integrally provided with a clip support member 11, and the clip support member 11 is provided with a slit 11a in the vehicle width direction.
A clip 12 having a projection 12a serving as an engagement portion on the rear surface side is attached to the clip support member 11. In the clip 12, a central portion 12c of the rear surface 12b provided with the protruding portion 12a is spaced from both side portions 12d as shown in fig. 4 to 7, and the clip 12 is formed to have an inverted V-shaped movable portion in a longitudinal section as shown in fig. 3. The front surface 12e of the clip 12 is provided with a leg portion 12f extending forward, and one end of the leg portion 12f is provided with a stopper piece 12g having a substantially T-shape in side view. Further, a locking piece 12h configured by extending the lower end of the central portion 12c is provided below the protrusion portion 12 a. Reference numeral 12i denotes a slit that separates the central portion 12c of the rear surface 12b from each side portion 12 d.
In contrast, as shown in fig. 4, 5, and 8, the L-shaped brackets 13 are attached to each of a predetermined number of positions arranged at fixed intervals in the vehicle width direction at the front portion of the cowl top 7. The front-surrounding upper plate 7 includes: a first vertical wall surface portion 7a provided downward from behind a lower portion of the windshield 2 and to which a lower end of the windshield 2 is connected; a connecting surface portion 7b extending rearward of the vehicle body from a lower end of the first vertical wall portion 7 a; and a second vertical wall surface portion 7c extending downward from the rear end of the connecting surface portion 7 b. The L-shaped bracket 13 is attached to the attachment surface portion 7b of the front periphery upper plate 7 by one or more welding points w or the like. The L-shaped bracket 13 is constituted by a belt-shaped plate bent in an L-shape, and includes a base end portion 13a to be fixed to the connecting surface portion 7b and an assembly surface 13b whose front end portion stands, and the L-shaped bracket 13 is bent to be inclined toward the rear of the vehicle body. Each side portion of the L-shaped bracket 13 is provided with a flange portion 13c, and each edge portion of the bent portion of the flange portions 13c on both sides is provided with a notch portion 13 d. Further, an opening portion (hole) 13e as a locking portion to be engaged with the protrusion portion 12a of the clip 12 is provided in a predetermined size on the assembly surface 13b of the holder 13. The detachment is not easily generated in a normal state, but the detachment is easily generated when an excessive impact force is applied since the assembly area of the opening portion 13e of the holder 13 is larger than the assembly area of the protrusion portion 12a of the clip 12.
The assembly procedure of the front vehicle body structure of the vehicle having the above-described configuration is explained below.
The base end portion 13a of the L-shaped bracket 13 is fixed to a predetermined position of the attachment surface portion 7b of the cowl top 7 by a welding point w (see fig. 8). On the other hand, the clip 12 is attached by assembling the leg portion 12f to the slit 11a of the clip support member 11 provided on the lower surface of the L-shaped holding portion 10 provided on the rear surface of the wall portion 8a of the rear end rising portion of the cowl top garnish 8.
Next, the protrusion 12a of the clip 12 is engaged with the opening 13e of the upright assembly surface 13b of the bracket 13. Since the central portion 12c of the clip 12 is warped as indicated by the two-dot chain line in fig. 3 (a), the protruding portion 12a engages with the opening portion 13e in the warped state.
Since the two side portions 12d and the locking pieces 12h of the clip 12 are locked by the edge portions of the opening portion 13e, the clip 12 is held in a state where the protruding portion 12a is engaged with the opening portion 13 e.
As described above, since the wall portion 8a of the rear end portion of the cowl top garnish 8 is connected to the cowl top 7 by the clip support member 11, the clip 12, and the bracket 13, even if the cowl top garnish 8 is pressed from above, the engagement of the cowl top garnish 8 and the cowl top 7 is maintained.
According to the above embodiment, since the engagement of the cowl top garnish 8 and the cowl top 7 is maintained even if the cowl top garnish 8 is pressed from above, the risk of deformation of the cowl top garnish 8 can be prevented. In addition, in the case where an excessive load is applied to the cowl garnish 8, the bracket 13 is easily bent at the notch portions 13d provided at the bent portions of the flange portions 13c on both sides. This facilitates the detachment of the cowl top garnish 8 without hindering the rearward movement of the cowl top garnish 8, which allows the impact to be absorbed in the event of excessive load being applied.
The present invention can prevent detachment of the cowl garnish 8, which is a resin member disposed at the upper opening portion of the cowl portion of the vehicle body.
In addition, the assembling surface 13b of the bracket 13 is provided with an opening portion 13e as a locking portion, and the clip 12 is mounted to the rear surface of the cowl trim 8, with a protrusion portion 12a at the rear surface of the clip 12, the protrusion portion 12a serving as an engaging portion for engaging with the opening portion 13 e. As a result, the cowl top garnish 8 is prevented from being detached under a certain degree of load, and the bracket 13 is bent to detach from the cowl top garnish 8 when the load is greater than that, which facilitates deformation of the cowl top garnish 8.
Further, since the front end portion of the holder 13 formed with the opening 13e is bent to be inclined rearward and upward, the assembly is easily detached when the upper portion of the assembly surface 13b is inclined rearward. Further, since the bracket 13 is cantilever-supported, the bracket 13 is easily deformed.
Further, since the notched portions 13d are formed at the side edge portions on both sides at the corner portion between the front end inclined surface of the bracket 13 and the fixing surface assembled to the cowl portion 3, the bracket 13 is easily bent by the notched portions 13 d. As a result, if an excessive impact is applied, the bracket 13 is easily bent, which can minimize damage.
Since the assembly area of the opening 13e provided in the assembly surface 13b of the holder 13 is larger than the assembly area of the projection 12a, the detachment is not likely to occur in a normal state, but the detachment is likely to occur if an excessive impact is applied. This can minimize damage.
Further, since the longitudinal slits 12i are formed on the left and right sides of the projection 12a on the rear surface 12b of the clip 12, the rear surface 12b including the projection 12a is warped forward, which facilitates the assembly of the clip 12 to the bracket 13.
Industrial applicability
Note that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and for example, the width, thickness, length, number of welding points, and the like of the holder 13 may be arbitrarily changed and implemented. Further, the size of the protrusion 12a of the clip 12 may be arbitrarily set according to the bracket 13. The shape of the clip supporting member 11 may take other structures without being limited to the slit 11a as long as the clip supporting member 11 can support the clip 12. In addition, the present invention can be modified and implemented as appropriate without departing from the technical scope of the present invention.
