Abstract

本发明涉及一种顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构及配置方法。该顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构包括:用于给AMOLED面板像素驱动电路输入电源高电压的多个VDD电极,以及用于给AMOLED面板驱动电路输入电源低电压的透明阴极;该透明阴极为通过整面蒸镀工艺制备而成,该透明阴极的相对两侧边设有VSS电源输入点;该多个VDD电极垂直于VSS电源输入的方向呈平行分布,每个VDD电极两端分别设有VDD电源输入点。本发明还提供了相应的顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构的配置方法。本发明顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构及配置方法,结合常见的3T1C驱动电路就可以有效的缓解透明阴极阻抗增大引起的IR压降,提升显示品质。

Description

顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构及配置方法
技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构及配置方法。
背景技术
作为新一代显示技术,有机发光二极管(OLED)显示面板具有低功耗、高色域、高亮度、高分辨率、宽视角、高响应速度等优点,因此备受市场的青睐。
OLED显示装置按照驱动方式可以分为无源矩阵型OLED(Passive Matrix OLED,PMOLED)和有源矩阵型OLED(Active Matrix OLED,AMOLED)两大类。其中,AMOLED具有呈阵列式排布的像素,属于主动显示类型,发光效能高,通常用作高清晰度的大尺寸显示装置。OLED按照光出射方向的不同,可以分为两种结构:一种是底发射型,另一种是顶发射型。OLED器件结构一般包括由下至上层叠的阳极,平坦层,有机发光材料层,以及透明阴极。顶发射型OLED所发出的光是从器件的顶部出射,能有效的提高开口率。
大尺寸高解析度AMOLED面板的开发是未来的发展方向,随着解析度的增加,会极大的压缩底发射AMOLED的开口区,故急需开发顶发射架构,而目前透明阴极阻抗非常大,引起严重的IR压降(Drop)问题。
参见图1,其为传统顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构示意图。传统AMOLED电源配置结构中,透明阴极1为整面蒸镀工艺制备,透明阴极1上下边引出VSS电源输入点2,通过VSS电源输入点2统一输入VSS电压,VDD电极3为纵向分布,上下边引出VDD电源输入点4,通过VDD电源输入点4统一输入VDD电压。该电源配置方式由于透明阴极1阻抗大,通常透明阴极1方阻>10Ω/□,面板上下边和中心会有明显的由于透明阴极1的IR压降引起的亮度差异,影响显示品质。
参见图2,其为传统AMOLED的3T1C像素电路示意图,主要包括3个薄膜晶体管T1~T3,一个电容Cst,该像素电路驱动过程主要由信号Scan的时序控制,薄膜晶体管T1为驱动TFT,用于驱动OLED,控制通过OLED的电流;为配合该像素电路工作,需要提供电源高电压VDD和电源低电压VSS,电源低电压VSS从OLED器件的阴极侧输入,电源高电压VDD则通过驱动TFT T1从OLED器件的阳极侧输入。
该传统AMOLED的3T1C像素电路工作过程如下:当Scan给高电位时,T2,T3打开,节点G写入数据信号Data,节点S写入参考电压Ref(<OLED开启电压),Vgs=Data-Ref,此时OLED不发光;当Scan给低电位时,T2,T3关闭,节点S被电源高电压VDD充电至VAnode,节点G被耦合(Couple)至Data+VAnode-Ref,此时Vgs=Data-Ref,OLED开始发光。T1作为驱动TFT,需工作在饱和区,即需要满足Vgs-Vth<VDD-VAnode,其中Vth为T1的阈值电压。如电源低电压VSS受限于透明阴极高阻抗影响,出现较大的IR压降,则VSS上升导致VAnode上升,T1工作在线性区,或者VAnode>VDD,现有像素电路失效。由于电路失效,一般需要提升VDD电压,使得T1重新回到饱和区,但如整体VDD抬升则会带来功耗的增加。
发明内容
因此,本发明的目的在于提供一种顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构,缓解透明阴极阻抗增大引起的IR压降。
本发明的另一目的在于提供一种顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构的配置方法,缓解透明阴极阻抗增大引起的IR压降。
为实现上述目的,本发明提供了一种顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构,包括:用于给AMOLED面板像素驱动电路输入电源高电压的多个VDD电极,以及用于给AMOLED面板驱动电路输入电源低电压的透明阴极;该透明阴极为通过整面蒸镀工艺制备而成,该透明阴极的相对两侧边设有VSS电源输入点;该多个VDD电极垂直于VSS电源输入的方向呈平行分布,每个VDD电极两端分别设有VDD电源输入点。
其中,该VSS电源输入点设置于该透明阴极的上下两侧边,该多个VDD电极呈横向平行分布。
其中,该VSS电源输入点设置于该透明阴极的左右两侧边,该多个VDD电极呈纵向平行分布。
其中,每个VDD电极根据自身所处位置对应的透明阴极的电压输入不同的VDD电源电压。
其中,通过配置各VDD电极所输入的VDD电源电压,使AMOLED面板各区域的电源高电压与电源低电压的差值保持一致。
其中,该AMOLED面板像素驱动电路包括:
第一薄膜晶体管,其栅极连接第一节点,源极和漏极分别连接第二节点和电源高电压;
第二薄膜晶体管,其栅极连接扫描信号,源极和漏极分别连接第一节点和数据信号;
第三薄膜晶体管,其栅极连接扫描信号,源极和漏极分别连接第二节点和参考电压;
电容,其两端分别连接第一节点和第二节点;
OLED,其阳极连接第二节点,阴极连接电源低电压;
其中,该参考电压小于OLED的开启电压。
其中,该扫描信号的时序配置为包括补偿阶段,以及发光阶段。
其中,在补偿阶段,该扫描信号为高电位。
其中,在发光阶段,该扫描信号为低电位。
本发明还提供了一种上述顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构的配置方法,每个VDD电极根据自身所处位置对应的透明阴极的电压输入不同的VDD电源电压;通过配置各VDD电极所输入的VDD电源电压,使AMOLED面板各区域的电源高电压与电源低电压的差值保持一致。
综上,本发明顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构及配置方法,结合常见的3T1C驱动电路就可以有效的缓解透明阴极阻抗增大引起的IR压降,提升显示品质。

具体实施方式
参见图3,其为本发明顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构一较佳实施例的结构示意图。本发明顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构主要包括:用于给AMOLED面板像素驱动电路输入电源高电压的多个VDD电极30,以及用于给AMOLED面板驱动电路输入电源低电压的透明阴极10;该透明阴极10为通过整面蒸镀工艺制备而成,该透明阴极10的相对两侧边设有VSS电源输入点20;该多个VDD电极30垂直于VSS电源输入的方向呈平行分布,每个VDD电极30两端分别设有VDD电源输入点40。在此较佳实施例中,VSS电源输入点20设置于该透明阴极10的上下两侧边,多个VDD电极30(VDD1~VDD5)呈横向平行分布。在其他实施方式中,也可以将VSS电源输入点40设置于该透明阴极10的左右两侧边,将多个VDD电极30呈纵向平行分布。
每个VDD电极30根据自身所处位置对应的透明阴极10的电压输入不同的VDD电源电压,此较佳实施例中使VDD电源电压按照VDD1~VDD5五个横向分区进行分布,横向分布的各VDD电极30的电压取决于其所对应区域的VSS压降情况。通过配置各VDD电极30所输入的VDD电源电压,可以使AMOLED面板各区域的电源高电压与电源低电压的差值保持一致。
参见图4及图5,图4为该较佳实施例的VSS电压分布示意图,展示VSS电源通过VSS电源输入点20输入透明阴极10后的电压分布,图5为该较佳实施例的VDD电压配置示意图,展示通过VDD电源输入点40向不同的VDD电极30输入不同的VDD电压以配合图4中的VSS电压分布。假设VDD初始电压20V,VSS初始电压0V,透明阴极10引起的VSS IR压降如图4所示,则相应的VDD电极30的VDD电压分配可以如图5所示,从而使各区域驱动电路的VDD-VSS电压一致,未增加驱动功耗,很好的解决了透明阴极阻抗高带来的IR压降问题。理论上VDD分区数量,也就是VDD电极30的数量越多越好,可视实际情况而定。本发明实施例仅给出最基本的方式,任何基于本发明思想的变形设计均属于本发明的保护范畴,例如VDD电极30纵向分区配置,VSS横向配置等。
本发明的顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构及配置方法可以结合现有的像素电路,例如图1所示的3T1C电路来使用。T1栅极连接节点G,源极和漏极分别连接节点S和电源高电压VDD;T2栅极连接扫描信号Scan,源极和漏极分别连接节点S和数据信号Data;T3栅极连接扫描信号Scan,源极和漏极分别连接节点S和参考电压Ref;电容Cst两端分别连接节点G和S;OLED阳极连接节点S,阴极连接电源低电压VSS;参考电压Ref小于OLED的开启电压。工作时,扫描信号Scan的时序配置为包括补偿阶段,以及发光阶段;在补偿阶段,扫描信号Scan为高电位;在发光阶段,扫描信号Scan为低电位。具体工作过程可参照背景技术中的叙述,由于本发明采用了特殊的适用于顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构及配置方法,结合现有常见的3T1C驱动电路,也可以有效的缓解透明阴极阻抗增大引起的IR压降,提升显示品质。驱动架构简单易行,尤其适合大尺寸顶发射AMOLED面板。通过将本发明的顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构及配置方法与现有的驱动电路相结合,一方面可以使T1重新回到饱和区,确保电路正常工作,另一方面未增加电源功耗,很好的解决了透明阴极阻抗高带来的IR压降。
综上,本发明顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构及配置方法,结合常见的3T1C驱动电路就可以有效的缓解透明阴极阻抗增大引起的IR压降,提升显示品质。
以上所述,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,可以根据本发明的技术方案和技术构思作出其他各种相应的改变和变形,而所有这些改变和变形都应属于本发明后附的权利要求的保护范围。

1.一种顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构,其特征在于,包括:用于给AMOLED面板像素驱动电路输入电源高电压的多个VDD电极,以及用于给AMOLED面板驱动电路输入电源低电压的透明阴极;该透明阴极为通过整面蒸镀工艺制备而成,该透明阴极的相对两侧边设有VSS电源输入点;该多个VDD电极垂直于VSS电源输入的方向呈平行分布,每个VDD电极两端分别设有VDD电源输入点。
2.如权利要求1所述的顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构,其特征在于,该VSS电源输入点设置于该透明阴极的上下两侧边,该多个VDD电极呈横向平行分布。
3.如权利要求1所述的顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构,其特征在于,该VSS电源输入点设置于该透明阴极的左右两侧边,该多个VDD电极呈纵向平行分布。
4.如权利要求1所述的顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构,其特征在于,每个VDD电极根据自身所处位置对应的透明阴极的电压输入不同的VDD电源电压。
5.如权利要求4所述的顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构,其特征在于,通过配置各VDD电极所输入的VDD电源电压,使AMOLED面板各区域的电源高电压与电源低电压的差值保持一致。
6.如权利要求1所述的顶发射AMOLED面板的电源配置结构,其特征在于,该AMOLED面板像素驱动电路包括:
第一薄膜晶体管,其栅极连接第一节点,源极和漏极分别连接第二节点和电源高电压;
第二薄膜晶体管,其栅极连接扫描信号,源极和漏极分别连接第一节点和数据信号;
第三薄膜晶体管,其栅极连接扫描信号,源极和漏极分别连接第二节点和参考电压;
电容,其两端分别连接第一节点和第二节点;
OLED,其阳极连接第二节点,阴极连接电源低电压;
其中,该参考电压小于OLED的开启电压。
