Abstract

Description

一种可换切削刀片
本发明涉及用于机加工序如铣、钻、镗、车等的可换切削刀片。本发明尤其涉及可转位的可换切削刀片,即其具有多个切削刃,这些切削刃能够被接续地转换至切削位置。
对于这样的具有切屑形成装置的可转位的可换切削刀片,在用某一转好位的切削刃进行加工时,可能出现正被切掉的切屑接触后续的切削刃或转好位的切削刃的延伸部分的危险,这种不希望有的接触可能导致延伸部分磨损,该延伸部分不参与已转位切削刃的切削,或导致其他形式的破坏。
因此,如本发明涉及的某一类型的切削刀片,即铣削中使用的构成申请人同时待批的申请号为0587109的欧洲申请主题(下文称这种类型的刀片为"一种可换切削刀片")并在其中描述的可换切削刀片,该刀片基本呈方形,具有四个可交替转位的切削刃,每一切削刃与一刮刃接续,该刮刃相对切削刃稍微有点角度,并且形成切削刃的一个延伸部分。在使用中,每一个切削刃与横向的刮刃一起工作,该刮刃构成相邻切削刃的连续延伸部。
在使用期间,铣削时,由已转位切削刃形成的切屑能够接触作为已转位切削刃的连续延伸部分的刮刃,这样会导致它的破坏和磨损。
同样地,对于其他的不同类型的刀片,由工作的已转位切削刃形成的切屑在镗或车加工中可能十分接触不直接参与切削的刀片邻接角部,从而在接续操作中当这个角部被转位到切削位置时损害其功用,并因此构成一个对损坏工件不易检测出的因素。
本发明的一个目的是要提供一种可互换的切削刀片,它带有装置可使上面提到的危险被显著地减少和克服。
按照本发明,它提供一种可换的可转位切削刀片,它基本上呈棱柱形,具有一个上前面,一个与之相对的基本上平行的基面,以及多个侧面,每一对侧面相交在刀片的角部,每一侧面与所述前面相交,以限定一个切削刃,每一切削刃包含一个从一个刀片角部延伸的主切削刃和一个接续的副切削刃,它终结于接续的刀片角部,以及多个切屑偏转肋条,它们分别与所述切削刃相连系并形成在所述前面上,每一个肋条从一个邻接于相关切削刃的所述主、副部分的汇合处的区域延伸,基本上与所述区域共同扩张,并被一部分所述前面将其与切刃隔开。
每一个肋条和它的相关主切削刃之间的角度限定在40°-110°之间,优选的范围是50°-95°。
按照本发明的一个优选实施例,可换的可转位刀片由基本上是方形的铣削刀片组成,方形刀片有四个可替换的切削刃,每一个切削刃接续地由其延伸部分构成一个相对其有一个小角度的刮刃,每一个切削刃形成所述主切削刃部分,而形成其接续的延伸部分的刮刃则构成接续的副切削刃部分。
很明显,在本发明的其它类型刀片的情况下,刀片的副切削刃部分可以用例如圆角构成,用此法避免磨损和撕裂。
因此,用本发明的切削刀片,由可转位切削刃即主切削刃形成的切屑与相关的切屑偏转肋条接触并因而从刮刃(构成加工切削刃的接续延伸部分),即副切削刃部分偏转,如此可避免刮刃的磨损和破坏。
现在,通过实施例和参照附图,描述本发明的实施例,其中:
图1是本发明的可转位可换铣刀片的透视图;
图2是图1刀片的上视图;
图3是图1刀片的侧视图;
图4、5和6分别是图2刀片沿IV-IV、V-V和VI-VI线的剖视图;
图7表示前述图中的刀片安装在铣刀中时的视图;而
图8是图7中的铣刀和刀片的细节放大图,表示出切屑的偏转。
如图1、2和3所示,铣刀刀片包括:一个基本上是平的、方形的基面1和一个基本上是方形的前面2。四个相同的后面3分别从基面相应的侧边缘4向外延伸在刀片的各相应的切刃5处与前面2相交。每一个切刃5包含主切刃部分5a,和其连续延伸部分、构成刮刃的一个副切刃部分5b。参看一个切刃5,主切刃部分5a从刀片的角部6a延伸,而刮刃5b则终结于接续的刀片角部6b,可以明白:对于接续的切刃5,主切刃部分5a从刀片角部6b开始延伸,而刮刃5b则终结于接续的刀片角部6a。
每一个后面3包括上、下后面部分3a和3b,上后面部分3a终结于凸缘部分3c,共同形成一个后面,而下后面部分3b构成刀片的定位部分。刀片定位部分3b带有一个中央凹入部分8。
上前面2由邻接于每一个切削刃5的分前面9构成,分前面9从切削刃5向下朝着基面1的方向延伸至上前面2的中央平面部分10,中央平面部分10与基面1平行。在中央平面部分10里形成一个贯穿刀片的通孔11,通过贯穿通孔11的夹紧螺钉(未表出),刀片可被夹紧到刀具上。
上后面3a和相关的凸缘部分3c以及分前面9最好做成弧形,使刀片安装进切削刀具后,相对刀具进行测量时,后角和前角沿着切削刃5的全长基本保持不变。这种结构的铣刀片,尤其是带有相对于刀片的基面向下倾斜的切削刃的刀片,已全部在申请人的在先的美国专利说明书,其序号为5,071,292和5,078,550中说明了。
由上前面2形成并伸出的是四个分别与四个切削刃5相关的切屑偏转肋条12。每一个肋条12从中央平面部分10伸向相关的切削刃,终结于切削刃5a与相关的刮刃5b汇合的区域,如在图4、5和6所示,以便由向下倾斜的分前面9将其与切削刃分隔开。邻接于汇合区域的肋条末端的横向大小基本上是与这个区域共同扩张,并且不在这一区域的两侧显著延伸。每一个肋条12与相关的切削刃5a界定一个角度μ,这里μ是锐角,如图中所示。角μ的范围是40°-110°(最好是50°-90°)。如图2中所示,肋条12从邻接于中央平面部分10的它的最宽的部分起延伸,并终结于与切削刃5a和刮刃5b的汇合部相邻接的它的最窄部分。
在图4中能够清楚地看到,每一个肋条从中央平面部分向上倾斜。
如图7和8中所示,当所述的刀片被安装在铣削刀具中时,例如,用于铣削具有互呈90°的壁面的凹槽时,铣切由已转好位的切削刃进行,而构成邻接切削刃接续延伸部的横向刮刃进行刮削。在运作中,构成转位切削刃接续延伸部的刮刃与工件隔开,如图8中所示,形成的切屑在刮刃区域由相关的切屑偏转肋条将其从该处偏转。如此可确保构成转位切削刃接续延伸部的刮刃得到保护,免受在切削加工中生成的切屑的破坏。
虽然本发明用基本呈方形的铣削刀片进行具体描述,应当理解,切屑偏转肋条的设置可以用于保护具有其他功能和其他形状的切削刀片。

Claims (4)

1.一种可换可转位的切削刀片,它基本上呈棱柱形,具有一个上前面,一个与之相对的基本上平行的基面,以及多个侧面,每一对侧面相交于刀片的角部,每一侧面与所述前面相交以限定一个切削刃,每个切削刃包含一个从一个刀片角部伸出的主切削刃和一个接续的副切削刃,副切削刃终结于接续的刀片的角部,其特征在于:设有切屑偏转肋条(12),肋条(12)分别与所述切削刃(5)相连系,并形成在所述前面(2)上,每一个肋条(12)从与一个邻接于相关切削刃(5)的所述主、副部分的汇合处的区域(5a)延伸,基本上与所述区域(5a)共同扩张,并被一部分所述前面(2)将其与切刃隔开。
2.按照权利要求1中所述的可换可转位的切削刀片,其特征在于:每一个肋条(12)和与其相关的主切削刃(5)之间的角度(μ)限定在40°-110°范围内。
3.如权利要求2中所述的可换可转位的切削刀片,其特征在于:所述的角度范围是50°-95°。
4.按照权利要求1、或2或3所述的可换可转位的切削刀片,其特征在于:它由基本上呈方形的具有四个替换的切削刃(5)的铣削刀片组成,每个切削刃(5)接续地由其延伸部分构成一个相对其有一个小角度的刮刃(5b),每一个切削刃(5)构成所述主切削刃部分,而形成其接续延伸部分的刮刃(5b)则构成接续的副切削刃部分。
