技术领域
本发明涉及用于保护关节接头的装置,该关节接头为例如车辆的前转向元件或悬架元件。
背景技术
在车辆工程领域,这种关节接头(也称为关节)安装在悬架臂的球窝接头销上(ball joint pin)或转向齿条的球窝接头销上。在这两种情况下,关节都非常靠近作为重要热源的制动盘。例如,负载的多用途车的制动盘的温度可以高达700℃。
关节主要包括关节铰接(articulation)和罩,关节铰接卷曲以形成铰接,弹性橡胶材料的罩覆盖组件用以防尘。
这种类型的关节的缺点是,罩的材料对于高温非常敏感,并且邻近制动盘会造成对罩的极大损坏。
考虑到此,必须保护关节接头免受高温。在目前的实践中,这个问题是通过使用安装在制动盘和关节之间的大板以保护关节的大表面来解决的。然而,该方法就所提供的材料而言具有成本高的缺陷。
文献EP0890500披露了一种车辆关节接头的保护装置,其包括安装在关节上的环形凸缘、在垂直于凸缘的高度方向延伸并且在沿着凸缘的环形外周的宽度方向延伸的隔热屏。凸缘和屏通过在金属板材上的深拉冲压(deep draw stamping)操作而形成为单个部件。该操作通常经过若干步骤来执行,换句话说,通过若干冲压操作来执行。该处理不仅耗时长,并且在能量消耗、操作和冲压模具方面的成本高。
发明内容
本发明提供了一种用于保护车辆的关节接头的装置,其易于制造且成本低廉。另一个目的是提供一种抗变形的保护装置,从而不会损坏邻近的转向元件和悬架元件。
为了实现上述目的,本发明提供一种用于例如车辆的转向或悬架的关节接头的保护装置,其包括安装到关节接头上的环形凸缘和隔热屏,屏在垂直于凸缘的高度方向、在沿着凸缘的环形外周的宽度方向延伸,其特征在于,屏和凸缘在一片金属板形成,金属板在屏和凸缘之间的连接区域处弯曲;此外,屏的表面的一部分形成为沿着凸缘的环形外周延伸的侧翼,侧翼通过槽形式的切口与凸缘相分离。
由于屏与凸缘之间的连接区域的长度不过量,因此这种布置有利于主要通过弯曲金属板而制造出的保护装置的获得。很明显,使侧翼与凸缘相分离的槽形式的切口可以产生足够小的连接区域和大的保护面,从而可以通过弯曲形成装置。与深拉冲压操作相反,弯曲操作简单、成本低并且快速,其可以由常规的机床来执行。
另一方面,例如在受到车辆震动的影响时,通过锁定特性使得具有一个或两个侧翼的屏易于实现合适的抗变形阻力,该锁定特性可以通过在每个侧翼和凸缘处切割和弯曲金属板而易于制得。
根据本发明的保护装置具有如下特征:
-锁定特征由在凸缘上切割和弯曲两个片而形成,以便夹住翼的下边缘;
-锁定特征由形成在翼的金属板上的片和在凸缘上所冲的孔组成;
-位于每个侧翼上的加强肋;

具体实施方式
图1示出了用于车辆的关节接头(如图2所示)的保护装置1,其主要包括:环形凸缘2,其安装在关节接头上,这里,环形凸缘2呈具有中央开口的圆盘形式;以及隔热屏3,其用于隔离从制动盘散发出的热量。屏3在垂直于凸缘2的高度方向、在沿着凸缘2的环形外周的宽度方向延伸。
安装凸缘2的中央开口具有圆形形状,其与关节的同样为圆形的外部轮廓相匹配,关节穿过该中央开口以安装保护装置。例如,开口的内径测得为44mm而环形凸缘2的外径测得为55mm。
隔热屏具有矩形形状并且使其尺寸足以保护关节的橡胶罩的整个表面、使热效应偏离并且产生一个空气区域。例如,屏的尺寸可以是57mm宽、28mm高。
屏沿着环形安装凸缘2的外周延伸。其沿着弯曲的连接件或者构成屏3的纵向边缘的中央主体5的连接区域4与凸缘2相连接。
该连接区域4限定了从连接区域4起径向延伸的屏3的中央主体5。
隔热屏3还包括设置在中央主体5的两侧的一个或两个侧翼6。侧翼沿着凸缘2的环形外周延伸。根据本发明,它们通过槽12形式的切口与凸缘2相分离。侧翼6可以从凸缘2分离,换句话说,它们仅以中央主体5为中间件而与凸缘2相连,并且在翼与凸缘2的外周之间留有自由间隔。显然,该槽形式的切口12使得能够建立足够宽的屏以便保护关节,并且建立足够短的连接区域4以使屏相对于凸缘2以垂直布置的方式弯曲。优选地,侧翼6延伸超过中央主体5的距离至少大致等于所述中央主体的宽度的一半。例如,测得中央主体5和侧翼6为28mm及19mm。

安装片10在金属板的切割步骤中制造,其形成为沿着与屏3的弯曲方向相反的轴向随后弯曲的径向突起。
