Description
本申请是申请人于2007年2月9日提交的,申请号为“200710084015.0的,发明名称为“终端以及在该终端中输入命令的方法”的发明专利申请的分案申请。
本申请要求于2006年4月25日提交的、如在此文献中所全面阐述的那样通过引用包括于此的韩国专利申请第10-2006-0037178号的优先权。
技术领域
本发明涉及一种包括触摸屏的电子设备,在所述电子设备中根据同时触摸个数来执行功能。
背景技术
现在众多电子设备包括触摸屏,它允许用户仅需通过触摸屏幕上特定菜单选项的位置处来选择该菜单选项。例如,诸如自动出纳机(ATM)等自助服务终端包括这样的触摸屏。诸如蜂窝式电话、个人数字助理(PDA)、膝上型计算机等移动终端也包括这样的触摸屏。
然而,在相关技术的电子设备中,用户仅能选择预定的选项而不能容易地编辑所选的选项。例如,用户能够使用ATM通过输入其个人身份标识号码(PIN)、选择“提取”菜单选项、并输入要提取的钱款数额来提取钱款。类似地,用户能够通过选择“创建文本消息”菜单选项并输入适当的文本在移动终端上创建短消息(例如,文本消息)。
然而,当用户想要更改要提取的钱款数额或更改文本消息时,用户必须使用退格或删除键。这通常是繁琐和不便的,尤其是在用户想要删除位于数据中间的(诸)字符时。即,用户还必须删除其想要删除的数据前面的所有数据。另外,为了在电子书中翻阅页面,用户必须一一单独地选择在与显示器分开的小键盘上提供的翻页命令。根据翻页命令的每一次选择在电子书中翻动一页。
发明内容
相应地,本发明的一个目的是解决上述和其它问题。
本发明的另一目的是提供一种允许用户容易地编辑触摸屏上所显示的信息的方法和相应的终端。
本发明的又一目的是提供一种允许用户通过触摸触摸屏来在诸如日历、日程表等电子书中翻阅页面的方法和相应的终端。
为了达这些目的和其它优点并根据如在此所体现和宽泛地描述的本发明的目的,本发明在一个方面提供一种终端,所述终端包括:触摸屏显示器,被配置成可供用户触摸;以及控制器,被配置成确定该触摸屏上同时触摸的个数并根据所确定的同时触摸的个数来执行功能。本发明还提供了相应的触摸屏方法。
在另一方面,本发明提供一种终端,所述终端包括:触摸屏显示器,被配置成可供用户触摸;以及控制器,被配置成确定触摸屏显示器被用户触摸的区域并根据所确定的触摸屏被用户触摸的区域来对显示在触摸屏显示器上的数据执行操作。本发明还提供了相应的触摸屏方法。
本发明的其它可应用范围将因此后给出的具体描述显见。然而,应该理解的是,尽管具体的描述和特定示例指示本发明的优选实施例,但是它们仅仅是作为说明给出的,因为在本发明的精神实质和范围内的各种变更和修改将因此具体说明而为本领域的技术人员所显见的。

具体实施方式
现在将具体参照其示例在附图中示出的本发明的优选实施例。
首先转到图1,它是示出了根据本发明的一个实施例的移动终端100的框图。如图所示,移动终端100包括:存储器单元110;显示器单元120;输入单元130;射频(RF)单元140;以及控制器150。存储器单元110包括用于驱动由移动终端100提供的多个功能的软件程序、以及与这些软件程序相关联的数据。
此外,显示器单元120显示与移动终端100的上述功能相关联的图像,以及与移动终端的操作相关联的其它信息。显示器120还是触摸屏显示器,在其中用户通过以例如指示笔或手指触摸该屏幕来选择菜单选项以及输入信息。另外,触摸屏显示器可由静电电容法、电阻覆盖法、红外光束法、表面声波法、积分应变计法、压电法中的至少一种来配置。
此外,输入单元130允许用户在移动终端100上输入各种命令或信息。输入单元130包括可被用户选择用来输入信息的例如小键盘、接触式转盘、触摸垫或语音识别设备等。另外,触摸屏显示器120还可包括代替输入单元100的功能的、允许用户在终端100上输入信息的所有必要功能。
RF单元140处理各种RF信号以允许移动终端100与通信网络通信并由此执行诸如语音呼叫服务、SMS(短消息服务)、MMS(多媒体消息服务)等通信服务。控制器150控制包括存储器单元110、触摸屏显示器120、输入单元130以及RF单元140的终端100的所有操作。
另外,控制器150识别同时触摸的个数和/或触摸着触摸屏的指示物的触摸区域。即,控制器150确定触摸屏上同时触摸的个数并根据所确定的同时触摸的个数来执行功能。
更为具体地,同时触摸的个数对应于用户在同一时间同时地触摸着触摸屏显示器120上至少两个不同位置。例如,用户可用一个手指触摸触摸屏显示器120,然后在若干秒后用另一手指触摸触摸屏显示器120并同时仍以所述第一手指触摸着触摸屏显示器120。在这种情况下,用户在同一时间同时地触摸着触摸屏显示器120的两个不同的位置。或者,用户可用两个手指同时触摸触摸屏显示器120。类似于以上所述,用户在同一时间触摸着触摸屏显示器120的两个不同的位置。
另外,控制器150还确定触摸屏显示器120被用户触摸的区域并根据所确定的触摸屏被用户触摸的区域来执行功能。即,控制器150根据所识别的同时触摸的个数和/或指示物的触摸区域来分析在触摸屏上输入的命令。
例如,控制器150识别用户以一个手指、两个手指、三个手指等触摸触摸屏显示器120。控制器150还识别用户触摸了触摸屏显示器120的哪一部分。控制器150还能确定用户沿触摸屏显示器120的某一特定部分拖曳了诸如其手指等指示物、以及用户在哪个方向上(例如,从左往右、上下等)拖曳该指示物。因此,控制器150能够确定或设置与用户在触摸屏显示器120上执行的动作相关联的功能。
接着转到图2,它是示出了根据本发明的一个实施例的、用户删除文本的一部分的概视图。如图2-1所示,用户已经在触摸屏显示器120上创建了SMS消息。用户可通过选择在触摸屏显示器120或输入单元130上提供的“创建SMS消息”菜单选项来创建这样的SMS消息。然后用户可选择适当的字符以创建所需的SMS文本消息。
以往,如果用户想要删除该SMS消息的一部分,则其必须数次按下输入单元上的“删除”、“取消”或“退格”键以删除欲删的文本。例如,参照图2-1,如果用户想要删除文本“I am doing good”,则用户将必须按下退格键至少14次以删除这个句子。这对用户是非常不便的。
类似地,如果用户想要只删除句子“I am doing good”中的单词“am”,则用户为了删除单词“am”将必须删除单词“am”前面的那些单词。即,用户为了删除单词“am”将必须删除单词“doing good”。然后用户将必须重新打入单词“doinggood”,即时其只想删除单词“am”。这对用户也是非常不便的。
本发明通过有利地允许用户通过简单地以诸如其手指等指示物触摸并拖曳划过文本中需要删除的部分来选择文本中用户想要删除的那部分从而来解决上述问题。更具体地,如图2的实施例所示,用户可触摸触摸屏显示器120的第一位置处(图2-2),然后沿触摸屏显示器120将其手指滑动或拖曳至第二位置(图2-3)。控制器150识别用户已执行该操作并删除触摸屏显示器120上第一和第二位置之间的文本(如图2-3所示)。
更为具体地,可在存储器单元110中存储表或数据库以指示用户触摸触摸屏显示器120上的第一位置、拖曳其手指划过触摸屏显示器120、并触摸触摸屏显示器120上的第二位置的操作对应于删除操作。控制器150然后使用该存储的信息来适当地删除欲删的文本。
因此,根据本发明的一个实施例,用户能够容易地删除文本的一部分而无需数次输入退格或删除键。此外,虽然没有在图2中具体地示出,但是用户还可删除包含在句子中间的一个或数个单词而无需删除该句子中所有的单词。
接着转到示出了根据本发明的另一实施例的用于删除文本的另一方法的图3。在该方法中,用户能够删除比在图2的实施例中更大部分的文本。
更为具体地,如图3-1所示,用户首先创建如图2-1中所示的文本消息。用户然后触摸触摸屏显示器120第一和第二位置(例如,用两个手指)两处(即,如图3-2所示的第一和第二触摸)。然后用户将其手指拖曳到第三位置以删除从第一和第二位置到第三位置的文本(如图3-3)所示。因此,用户能够删除在这些位置之间的所有文本。类似于图2中的实施例,控制器150可参照存储在存储器单元110中的表或数据库来执行这样的功能。
图4示出了允许用户删除文本中欲删的一部分的本发明的又一实施例。更为具体地,用户首先创建如图4-1所示的SMS文本消息。然后用户将其手指或指示笔按在触摸屏显示器120上的欲删区域之上的第一位置处(图4-2)。例如,用户可将其手指按在文本消息中的多句或多行文本之上。(如图4-2所示)。
用户然后将其手指或指示笔拖曳到第二位置以删除从第一位置到第二位置的所有文本(图4-3)。由此,在该实施例中,用户能够删除或擦除属于从第一位置到第二位置的触摸区域的多个字符。另外,用户还可同时触摸/擦拭触摸屏上的三个或更多的位置以删除对应于这三个或更多位置的多个字符。
此外,虽然没有在图中示出,但是用户可通过以连续方式触摸触摸屏预定的次数(例如,4次触摸)来删除或擦除触摸屏显示器120上的SMS消息中的全部字符。例如,存储器单元110的表或数据库可指示如果用户以连续方式(例如,在预定量的时间内)触摸触摸屏显示器4次,则触摸屏显示器120上的所有文本将被删除。
现在转到如图5所示的本发明的另一实施例,其中用户可在终端上所显示的电子书(例如,日历、日程表等)中翻阅页面(即,执行翻页操作)。
在该实施例中,如图5所示,用户能够通过以一个手指触摸触摸屏显示器120来翻一页(图5-1)、通过以两个手指触摸触摸屏显示器120来翻两页(图5-2)、通过以三个手指触摸触摸屏显示器120来翻三页(图5-3)等。即,存储器单元110中存储的表或数据库可指示当用户观看诸如日历或日程表等电子书时,基于用户同时触摸触摸屏显示器120的位置的个数,用户可翻过所需的页数。
该实施例是尤其有利的,因为在过去如果用户想要将所显示的电子书翻一页,用户选择翻页命令仅能将该电子书翻一页。此外,虽然没有在图5中示出,但是用户可通过按住触摸屏显示器120预定量的时间来翻至电子书的最后一页。类似地,用户可通过再次按住触摸屏显示器120预定量的时间来回到电子书的第一页。
接下来转到图6,它是示出了根据本发明的一个实施例的概视图,在该实施例中用户能够选择性地确定对触摸屏显示器120的触摸是删除文本还是剪切与粘贴该文本。更为具体地,关于图2-4的描述对应于用户删除触摸屏显示器120上显示的数据。
然而,在一替换实施例中,如图6所示,用户可按下触摸屏显示器120上的软键以在删除模式和剪切与粘贴模式之间翻转。例如,当用户触摸该软键时,就提供一允许用户选择(1)删除模式或(2)剪切与粘贴模式的菜单。如果用户选择(1)删除模式,则数据将如图2-4所述地被删除。然而,如果用户选择(2)剪切与粘贴模式,则在图2-4中被删除的数据将改为被剪切(而不是删除)。用户然后可通过再次触摸触摸屏显示器120将所剪切的数据粘贴到触摸屏显示器120上的任何位置。
例如,如果用户选择了剪切与粘贴模式(而不是删除模式),则用户能够剪切图2-3中的短语“I am doing good”,并通过简单地触摸短语“Are you busy today?”下面的屏幕将所剪切的该数据粘贴到该短语的下面。因此,根据图6中所示的实施例,用户能够在删除模式和剪切与粘贴模式之间选择性地选取。另外,除了如图6所示那样地显示菜单,还可以用其当前模式标示软键。即,在剪切与粘贴模式下,软键被标示为“剪切与粘贴”,而在删除模式下,软键被标示为“删除”。因此,用户能够通过触摸该软键在两个模式之间翻转。
在如图7所示的又一替换实施例中,用户能够有利地基于其拖曳指示物的方向(例如,在向左或向右方向上)删除数据或是剪切与粘贴数据。例如,如图7所示,用户能够通过在从左往右的方向上拖曳指示物来删除数据,而通过在从右往左的方向上拖曳指示物来剪切与粘贴数据。也可使用例如上下方向等。如果用户想要粘贴所剪切的数据,用户可再次触摸触摸屏显示器120上的某个位置以指示要将数据粘贴在何处(如上所讨论的)。
因此,根据本发明的不同实施例,用户可通过简单地触摸触摸屏显示器单元来执行各种不同的编辑、翻页等命令。此外,以上说明涉及诸如蜂窝电话等移动终端。然而,本发明还涉及诸如PDA(个人数字助理)、游戏机、自助服务终端(例如,ATM)等其它终端或电子设备。
由于本发明可以多种形式体现而不会背离本发明的精神实质或本质特性,所以应该理解,除非另有指定,否则上述实施例不应被以上说明的任何细节所限定,而应该在如所附权利要求中定义的本发明的精神实质和范围内广义地理解,因此所附权利要求旨在包含落在所附权利要求的边界和范围之内、或这些边界和范围的等效界限之内的所有变化和修改。
Claims (14)
1.一种终端,包括:
触摸屏显示器,配置成可供用户触摸;以及
控制器,配置成确定所述触摸屏显示器被用户触摸的区域并根据所确定的所述触摸屏被用户触摸的区域来对显示在所述触摸屏显示器上的数据执行操作。
2.如权利要求1所述的终端,其特征在于,当用户触摸所述触摸屏显示器上的第一位置并将指示物拖曳至所述触摸屏显示器上的第二位置时,所述控制器删除显示在所述触摸屏上所述第一和第二位置之间的区域内的数据。
3.如权利要求1所述的终端,其特征在于,还包括:
可选项,配置成可由用户选择以指示对所述触摸屏显示器上的所述数据执行的操作是删除操作还是剪切与粘贴操作。
4.如权利要求1所述的终端,其特征在于,当用户用指示物触摸所述触摸屏上的第一位置并将所述指示物拖曳至所述触摸屏显示器上的第二位置时,所述控制器还确定用户拖曳所述指示物的方向。
5.如权利要求4所述的终端,其特征在于,当用户在第一方向上拖曳所述指示物时,所述控制器确定用户是在剪切界定在所述第一和第二位置之间的区域内的数据以备随后粘贴在所述触摸屏显示器上的另一位置;而当用户在不同于所述第一方向的第二方向上拖曳所述指示物时,所述控制器确定用户是在删除界定在所述第一和第二位置之间的区域内的数据。
6.一种终端,包括:
触摸屏显示器,配置成可供用户触摸;以及
控制器,配置成确定用户以指示物触摸了所述触摸屏显示器上的第一位置并将所述指示物拖曳至所述触摸屏显示器上的第二位置,以及对显示于所述触摸屏显示器上从所述第一位置到所述第二位置的数据执行操作。
7.如权利要求6所述的终端,其特征在于,还包括:
可选项,配置成可由用户选择以指示所述触摸屏显示器上的所述操作是删除操作还是剪切与粘贴操作。
8.如权利要求6所述的终端,其特征在于,当用户以所述指示物在所述第一位置触摸所述触摸屏显示器并将所述指示物拖曳至所述触摸屏显示器上的所述第二位置时,所述控制器还确定用户拖曳所述指示物的方向。
9.如权利要求8所述的终端,其特征在于,当用户在第一方向上拖曳所述指示物时,所述控制器确定用户是在剪切所述第一和第二位置之间的数据以备随后粘贴在所述触摸屏显示器上的另一位置;而当用户在不同于所述第一方向的第二方向上拖曳所述指示物时,所述控制器确定所述用户是在删除所述第一和第二位置之间的数据。
10.一种用于在终端上执行功能的方法,所述方法包括:
确定所述触摸屏显示器被用户触摸的区域;以及
根据所确定的所述触摸屏被用户触摸的区域来对显示在所述触摸屏显示器上的数据执行操作。
11.如权利要求10所述的方法,其特征在于,当所述用户触摸所述触摸屏显示器上的第一位置并将指示物拖曳至所述触摸屏显示器上的第二位置时,所述执行步骤删除显示在所述触摸屏上所述第一和第二位置之间的区域内的数据。
12.如权利要求10所述的方法,其特征在于,还包括:
由用户选择对所述触摸屏显示器上的数据执行的操作是删除操作还是剪切与粘贴操作,
其中,当用户以指示物触摸所述触摸屏显示器上的第一位置并将所述指示物拖曳至所述触摸屏显示器上的第二位置时,所述执行步骤确定用户拖曳所述指示物的方向,以及
当用户在第一方向上拖曳所述指示物时,所述控制器确定用户是在剪切界定在所述第一和第二位置之间的区域内的数据以备随后粘贴在所述触摸屏显示器上的另一位置,而当用户在不同于所述第一方向的第二方向上拖曳所述指示物时,所述控制器确定用户是在删除界定在所述第一和第二位置之间的区域内的数据。
13.一种用于在终端上执行功能的方法,所述方法包括:
确定用户用指示物触摸了所述触摸屏显示器上的第一位置并将所述指示物拖曳至所述触摸屏显示器上的第二位置;以及
对显示在所述触摸屏显示器上从所述第一位置到所述第二位置的数据执行操作。
14.如权利要求13所述的方法,其特征在于,还包括:
由用户选择在所述触摸屏显示器上的所述操作是删除操作还是剪切与粘贴操作,
其中,当用户以所述指示物在所述第一位置触摸所述触摸屏显示器并将所述指示物拖曳至所述触摸屏显示器上的所述第二位置时,所述控制器还确定用户拖曳所述指示物的方向,以及
当用户在第一方向上拖曳所述指示物时,所述控制器确定用户是在剪切所述第一和第二位置之间的数据以备随后粘贴在所述触摸屏显示器上的另一位置,而当用户在不同于所述第一方向的第二方向上拖曳所述指示物时,所述控制器确定用户是在删除所述第一和第二位置之间的数据。
