Description
技术领域
本发明总体涉及切削刀具,且更具体地涉及具有刀片支承刀夹(insert supporting cassette)的切削刀具。
背景技术
在大多数具有可替换切削刀片的切削刀具中,切削刀片安装在刀架本体的凹部内并通过夹具来被夹紧到邻接表面,所述夹具例如为经由刀片内的孔延伸到刀架本体内的内螺纹孔中的螺钉。邻接表面可以是刀架本体本身的一部分,或者是中间结构,例如自身夹紧到形成在凹部内的表面的垫片(shim),该凹部形成在刀架本体上。在任意一种情况下,在需要定位刀片以使得刀片的工作的切削刃与刀架本体的纵向轴线限定出某一角度,并使得刀片的前刀面(rake surface)和后刀面(relief surface)相对于刀架本体适当地定向时,刀架本体的设计被复杂化了。一旦完成设计,刀架本体内的刀片容纳槽的加工同样会变得复杂。成品刀架本体通常具备例如用于使刀具回转的单一功能,该功能例如适用于钻出特定直径的开口。
理想的是提供一种切削刀具,其中,能简化刀架本体的设计和加工。同样理想的是提供一种切削刀具,其在应用中比常规切削刀具更灵活。
发明内容
根据本发明的一方面,一种切削刀具包括:切削刀片,该刀片包括切削刃;刀夹,其包括刀片夹具和大致柱形基底部分,该刀片夹具用于相对于刀夹的邻接表面夹紧刀片;刀架本体,该刀架本体具有柱形开口,刀夹的基底部分布置在该柱形开口内;以及刀夹夹具,其包括用于相对于刀架本体夹紧刀夹的楔块,在刀片相对于刀夹的邻接表面被夹紧且刀夹相对于刀架本体被夹紧时,所述切削刃延伸超过刀架本体的外周围。

如图2A所示,但是这同样适用于如图1A所示的实施例,可将本体通道171(虚线所示)设置为至少部分地延伸通过刀架本体143,并可将刀夹通道173(虚线所示)设置在刀夹127内且通向刀夹上的开口151。在刀夹127被安装于刀架本体143内时,本体通道171和刀夹通道173能够处于流动连通,且通道例如能够用于将冲洗流体/润滑流体/冷却流体引入工件。本体通道171的较远部分171A可与开口151连通,以便促进引入液体。开口151可具有用于与固定螺钉163的外螺纹匹配的内螺纹(未示出),以便促进调节刀夹127的径向位置,且由此调节刀片123的径向位置。
本体通道71(虚线所示)能够至少部分地延伸通过刀架本体43,且可将楔块通道73设置在楔块55内。在楔块55被布置于楔块容纳开口51内时,本体通道71和楔块通道73能够处于流动连通,且通道例如能够用于将冲洗流体/润滑流体/冷却流体引入工件。可将楔块通道73作为管道设置到如图1C所示的本体通道71A的较远部分,以便能将流体在本体43的端部引入,或者如图1A和图1B所示,可设置楔块通道,以便经由楔块,即大致在径向上引入流体。如图3A至图3C所示,楔块55可设置有两个平坦表面55B,从而能够利用在楔块的两个方位中的任意一个方位上与刀夹27的基底33上的平坦表面33A邻接的其中一个平坦表面将楔块布置在孔51内。当将楔块55定向在第一方位上时,流体能通过孔51从本体通道71流入楔块通道73,并流出楔块的顶部。当将楔块55定向在第二方位上时,流体能够从本体通道71流入楔块通道73以及本体通道71A中。还示出了,切削刀具21和121具有基准垫(reference pad)77和177,以有助于通过避免切削刃之间过大的周向间距来确保切削刀具及其(多个)刀片的正确定位。
如图2A所示,切削刀具121可包括多个刀夹127,多个刀夹中的每一个均具有基底133,所述基底适于被容纳在刀架本体143中对应的多个开口145的相应一个开口内。可通过相应刀片夹具129(例如螺钉)将对应多个刀片123夹紧到多个刀夹127的相应一个。如图2B所示,可将刀片123以相对彼此不同的角间距安装,这便于避免潜在的不利振动。尽管图1A和图2A示出了各刀夹上只有一个刀片的实施例,但应该理解,可将多个刀片设置在单个刀夹上。
刀夹27和127的基底33和133能分别设置有锥形形状,以有利于适当地定向切削刀片23和123的切削刃25和125。锥形可以是例如刀夹127上最小的,基底133可从靠近邻接表面131的大约12.00mm的直径渐缩到靠近底端159的大约11.95mm的直径。例如,基底33和133可以在靠近刀夹27和127的底端59和159处最小,并且当楔块55和155分别移入孔51和151A中时,使得楔块的表面55B和155B接触刀夹的基底的表面33A和133A,且当楔块完全到位时,这些楔块使得刀夹的邻接表面31和131倾斜至所需角度,且因此使得邻接表面上的切削刀片23、123的切削刃25、125倾斜至所需角度。由此,通过本发明,刀片23和123相对于刀具21和121的旋转轴线AR的径向定位可分别通过固定螺钉63和163的适当调节来完成,而切削刀片23和123及其切削刃25和125相对于刀具的角度方位或″倒置锥形″可通过楔块55和155的适当的位置调节来完成。
虽然已主要结合回转刀具,例如钻具、镗刀和铣刀描述了本发明,但应该理解本发明还具有例如结合其它形式的刀具,例如车削刀具的其它应用。
在本申请中,诸如″包含(including)″之类的术语的使用为非限制性的,旨在与诸如″包括(comprising)″之类的术语具有相同含义,且不排除其它结构、材料或活动(act)的存在。同样,尽管诸如″能″或″可能″之类的术语的使用旨在非限制性的,且表示结构、材料或活动不是必需的,不使用上述术语并不表示结构、材料或活动为至关重要的。如果现时将结构、材料或活动看作是至关重要的,则以此来识别它们。

Claims (21)
1.一种切削刀具(21、121),包括:
切削刀片(23、123),所述刀片包括切削刃(25);
刀夹(27、127),所述刀夹包括刀片夹具(29)和大致柱形的基底部分(33、133),所述刀片夹具(29)用于相对于所述刀夹的邻接表面(31、131)夹紧所述刀片;
刀架本体(43、143),所述刀架本体具有柱形开口(45、145),在所述柱形开口(45、145)内布置所述刀夹(27、127)的所述基底部分(33、133);以及
刀夹夹具(47、147),所述刀夹夹具(47、147)包括用于相对于所述刀架本体(43、143)夹紧所述刀夹(27、127)的楔块(55、155),当所述刀片(23、123)相对于所述刀夹(27、127)的所述邻接表面(31、131)被夹紧且所述刀夹相对于所述刀架本体(43、143)被夹紧时,所述切削刃(25)延伸超过所述刀架本体的外周围。
2.根据权利要求1所述的切削刀具(21、121),其中所述刀具为可转动刀具,且所述刀夹(27、127)的纵向轴线大致垂直于所述刀具(21、121)的旋转轴线。
3.根据权利要求2所述的切削刀具(21、121),其中所述刀夹(27、127)的所述纵向轴线大致与所述刀具(21、121)的所述旋转轴线相交。
4.根据权利要求1所述的切削刀具(121),其中所述刀夹(127)的底端(159)邻接所述柱形开口(145)内的固定表面(161)。
5.根据权利要求1所述的切削刀具(21),其中所述刀夹(27)的底端(59)邻接所述柱形开口(45)内的可调节移动表面(61)。
6.根据权利要求5所述的切削刀具(21),其中所述可调节移动表面(61)由可移动地布置在所述刀架本体(43)中的螺纹孔(65)内的调节螺钉(63)的端部限定。
7.根据权利要求1所述的切削刀具(21、121),其中所述刀夹(27、127)的所述邻接表面(31、131)与垂直于所述刀夹的纵向轴线的平面限定出0°至90°的角度。
8.根据权利要求1所述的切削刀具(21、121),其中所述刀夹(27、127)的所述邻接表面(31、131)与所述刀夹的纵向轴线限定出0°至90°的角度。
9.根据权利要求1所述的切削刀具(21、121),其包括邻接表面(67、167),所述邻接表面(67、167)用于防止所述切削刀片(23、123)相对于所述刀架本体(43、143)转动。
10.根据权利要求9所述的切削刀具(21),其中所述邻接表面(67)至少部分地由所述刀架本体(43)的表面限定。
11.根据权利要求9所述的切削刀具(121),其中所述邻接表面(167)至少部分地由所述刀夹(127)的表面限定。
12.根据权利要求1所述的切削刀具(121),其包括至少部分地延伸通过所述刀架本体(143)的本体通道(171),并且包括布置在所述刀夹(127)内的刀夹通道(173),所述本体通道和所述刀夹通道在所述刀夹被安装在所述刀架本体内时流动连通。
13.根据权利要求1所述的切削刀具(21、121),其中所述楔块(55、155)适于被容纳在所述刀架本体(43、143)内的楔块容纳开口(51、151A)中。
14.根据权利要求13所述的切削刀具(21),其包括至少部分地延伸通过所述刀架本体(43)的本体通道(71),并且包括布置在所述楔块(55)内的楔块通道(73),所述本体通道和所述楔块通道在所述楔块被安装在所述楔块容纳开口(51)内时流动连通。
15.根据权利要求13所述的切削刀具(21、121),其中所述刀夹夹具(47、147)包括螺钉(49、149)和所述楔块(55、155),所述螺钉被布置在所述楔块中的孔内并被旋入所述刀架本体中的内部螺纹孔(51、151A)中。
16.根据权利要求1所述的切削刀具(21、121),其中所述刀片(23、123)能够转位到至少两个位置。
17.根据权利要求1所述的切削刀具(121),其包括:多个刀夹(127),所述多个刀夹中的每一个刀夹具有基底(133),所述基底(133)适于被容纳在所述刀架本体(143)中的对应的多个开口(145)的相应一个开口内;以及对应的多个刀片(123),所述对应的多个刀片(123)被夹紧至所述多个刀夹(127)的相应一个刀夹。
18.根据权利要求1所述的切削刀具(21、121),其中所述刀片夹具(29、129)包括具有纵向轴线的螺钉,所述纵向轴线大致平行于所述刀夹(27)和所述刀架本体(143)中的至少一个的纵向轴线。
19.根据权利要求1所述的切削刀具(21、121),其中所述楔块(55、155)邻接所述刀夹(27、127)的所述基底(33、133)的锥形表面(33A、133A),且在所述楔块相对于所述锥形表面完全到位时,所述切削刃(25、125)相对于所述刀架本体(43、143)处于预定角度方位。
20.一种适于相对于切削刀具(21、121)安装的刀夹(27、127),所述刀夹包括本体,所述本体包括邻接表面(33、131)和大致柱形的基底部分(33、133),刀片(23、123)适于通过刀片夹具(29)而被夹紧至所述邻接表面(33、131),而所述大致柱形的基底部分(33、133)能够容纳于刀架本体(43、143)中的柱形开口(45、145)内,所述邻接表面(31、131)包括用于容纳所述刀片夹具(29)的螺钉的内螺纹开口(37),所述内螺纹开口(37)大致平行于所述刀夹(27)和所述刀架本体(143)中的至少一个的纵向轴线。
21.根据权利要求19所述的刀夹(27、127),其中所述基底部分(33、133)为非圆形的。
